Tested out peqdb with the "no measurements" option and it did make my iems sound a bit better but most of the results ended up being too bassy and the trials were bassy in general. Can't wait for that to get better in the future.
To say 4.5x better you should prove it somehow, complexity of the system is not proportional to the quality of the system unless proven. And you know you need proper experimentation for that. I can happily help if you guys want to write a research paper for this.
Literally exact curve I've been using for years lol. Looks like it's time for you to get some servo subs and hear clean bass from a sub for the first time.
Ive seen anechoically flat speakers measure different than this in room. Your own room isnt the end all be all. Until you gain a basic grasp of physical acoustics then peqDB will remain a joke in comparison to tools like Acourate
On a side note, can you explain how that works or affects the sound? When I did wavelength calculations for the first time I was surprised to know some of the sub bass is longer than my room. At that point do I no longer hear those sounds, or do they resonate too much, or what happens really?
@RTajwar What happens is you get bass inconsistency around the room. Typically in corners there would be more bass (like in my room). You'd have to do acoustic treatment to remedy that, install bass traps in corners ie.
Ok since you are insist on calling it a peck then at least make into real slogan "The peck" for instance is way better naming scheme Install the peck, peck the heck, crinacle is getting pecked by peck It just sounds nice and natural
How can you say that you have a calibrated and smooth response, when there are huge swings of several dB up and down? Also, the Harman speaker response target is a straight downward sloping line, without curvature.
This is going to transform my 10$ speaker to an imaxx theater
Jokes aside peqdb is goated
yeah
There's a new king in town

we are not going to waste our time writing papers

Just send Claude all the data you gathered and your thoughts and what you did and ask it to format it in LaTeX

At last a sane approach to the cosmic jungle world of audio advice.
PeqdB turned my melobuds pro into something else. Nice job!
Making a huge mistake not putting those speakers under your bed.
Yes
We need much more sound demos!!!

Hi fox news
@znojnyj are you schizophrenic?
You surprise yourself much more than you surprise the youtube community.😂

Wow, will have to test on my kef Q350.
How do i test this target curve?
Do you have a text file of the target curve upload?

Well i do have one question about how should the source be connected, through optical or through hdmi?
