Man i love the LRST, the idea of a modern dyna with a fairing with 117 is the dream but i hate how the speakers are etrxa. For the price of the bike , you can get a year old street glide with low mileage for the same price
I'm almost in the same boat as you are, I traded in my '21 Goldwing DCT for a 23 LRST Fast Johnnie I could not be more happier. I still own a '21 RGS and I have been on it for months now and its days are probably numbered. The LRST will be my retirement bike...lol thanks for sharing
Another nice video 👌🏼. I was actually thinking of getting a touring bike but given this was my first Harley and not experienced rider most people recommended to go with the softail platform. I wasn’t really excited initially with their recommendations until they released the ST and man I am so happy I got it 😀.
Thanks for watching! You made a great choice! The Low Rider ST is the perfect bike for someone who wants to have a fun and powerful bike and still has the capability of doing some touring trips. The touring platform is great too however if you’re not spending long days on the freeway often then it’s a bit overkill. I don’t regret selling my Road Glide one bit. Plus the $10k savings gives me more room for mods!!! Stay tuned!!!
It’s a tough choice. It all depends on how you will use your bike. If you plan to do long trips often then the touring model is the way to go. If you want something more playful and the occasional weekend trip then the Low Rider ST is your bike. Thanks for watching. More videos coming soon.
@@TwoWheelGarage Thanks for your feedback. The Low Rider ST definitely fits my use case better, but I love the idea of building a performance bagger. I don't love what it will cost, though.
I have never rode a lowrider or the ST model. I have watched a lot of people ride the new lowrider St on RUclips and they all absolutely love it. Congratulations ride safe.
Life long cruiser/Softail rider. Got talked into getting a "grown-up" bike, the Street Glide. 150lbs extra in front. I couldn't get used to it. Traded it in for the Low Rider ST.....miss my Softail Custom, but this ST is really good. I've been making changes, but the only thing I don't like ...the handlebars. Got the 6" risers with pullback...that's an improvement, but I'll like to change the angle of the handlebars so that my hands are not straight, but bent in an inch or two.
My very first Harley was a 2007 Softail Custom. That’s the bike that started the Harley obsession. I’ve had a street glide and road glide, both great bikes but nothing compares to the fun factor of a softail. The ST is the best of both worlds to me. I also plan to do risers and bars soon. I agree the bars have an awkward angle. Thanks for watching!!!
I got the ST. I think if I could afford the RG ST, I would do that. I also like the LR ST because it more nimble and more fund to ride. The RG ST is for long highway comfort.
You can’t go wrong with either. It all depends on how often you do long touring. For me the LRST is for me. Thanks for watching. More videos coming soon.
I almost made this mistake, however, I enjoy the RG ST more over the LR ST for obvious comfort reasons. Both awesome bikes but one is a more of a ripper and the other is a more of a fun light twisty bar hopping machine. I sat on the LR and loved it and would consider that slimmer size LR for maybe a weekend ripper or something or a second bike. Great video though!
The Low Rider ST is not for everyone. It depends mostly on what your attended use is or your primary needs. I will say after I changed the seat and extended the bars closer to me it made the bike extremely comfortable. I could ride it coast to coast now. Thanks for watching!!
I’m 5’8”. It’s a tough choice. It all depends on how you will use your bike. If you plan to do longer trips often then the touring model is the way to go. Stumbled across your channel & watched your video. 🎉congratulations on your LR-ST & I totally understand the LR-ST is just a different beast all together compared to the RG. I managed to get myself a LW-ST and she is definitely an amazing ride and the weight difference is amazing especially when your splitting lanes 😂. I have nearly finished my mods on my LW-ST. You got my Subscription & 👍 so will be waiting to see your upgrades. You can pass by my channel and have a look at what I have done so far to my LR-ST.
Thank you for the video. Nicely done... To the point. Seems like I'm listening to a friend. I'm dying to try this bike. I'm a Cruiser performance junkie and I like power and comfort. How comfortable is it? Is the stock seat OK?
Thanks for watching. It’s very comfortable however I do plan on adding extended risers and a different seat so it’s dialed perfectly for me. The stock seat is surprisingly comfortable however I want the option for passengers so the stock seat is coming off. More videos to come!
I personally hate fairings, so for me it would be a low rider sport OR a fat boy hands down, throw a detachable windshield and leather bags and it's all i need

I agree and for a little more you can get the new 2024.

Glad you got what you wanted. That’s a nice bike
Thank you!!! It’s definitely a fun bike. Thanks for watching.
How tall are you? I’m 6’1 just rode one with forward controls and loved it but I’m torn. Currently on a stage 2 street glide

Change the exhaust ..... power 😂🤣😂 loads more power ......
I came from a sports bike to one of these. I love it 😀
Full exhaust and tuner ready to be installed. New videos to follow. Thanks for watching.
Good video 🎉
Thanks for watching!!!
Youre only at 2000 rpm. lol. great video.
Yea I was trying to keep the RPMs down because the bike was brand new. Thanks for watching. More videos coming soon!!!

I love the Fat Boy also. Such an iconic bike. Thanks for watching.
