Ty, I noticed that you had some Thrashin Supply risers on your LRST. Which ones did you get? I'm wanting to add some to mine but can make up my mind if I should get 6 1/2" or the 9 1/2" pull back risers.
Bought my first Harley in January, Lowrider ST. Then traded it in March for the Road Glide ST. I've noticed many things:
1. LRST is not well made by comparison with the RGST (fitment, use of fasteners, bags)
2. RGST is more refined, polished, and far more comfortable (for the rider over 6 feet tall)
3. LRST headlight is weak and scary at night in dark canyons without streetlights
4. RGST dual headlights are superior in the same canyon setting
5. LRST bags can easily fall off if not securely fastened (listen for the click and check the red indicators)
6. RGST bags will NEVER fall off, being fastened securely with two threaded connectors from inside each bag (plus supported by a frame rail)
7. LRST is better suited to the rider who's no taller than 5'10" and even then the windshield does NOT stop buffeting
8. RGST is better suited to the tall rider (as I already stated) and also needs a taller windshield if you want a less turbulent ride
9. LRST is 150 pounds lighter and with the 117 motor will outperform the RGST
10. RGST with identical motor is NOT tuned the same, and pulls differently, more smoothly (seat of the pants analysis)
11. LRST is cramped, even with changes to risers and adding forward controls (the salesman could have told me I was too tall to be comfortable on the LRST)
12. RGST flows better ergonomically, no cramping, and just more comfortable for the taller rider (shorter riders can luxuriate even more)
Finally, I spent thousands of extra dollars on the LRST trying to make it into an RGST. My bad. If I'd know in January what I know in March, I'd have gone straight for the Road Glide. It looks better, feels better, is better made with respect to fasteners and fit and finish, as it should be since it's $10k more, plus entertainment, gauges, etc. It's a "real" motorcycle in my opinion. I'd be hard pressed to even want to ride Lowrider today. It was a great introduction to cruiser style motorcycles... coming from Suzuki Hayabusas and Kawasaki ZX-14s the Lowrider was a small step on the stairs to the bigger bike.
Your opinion will vary, certainly. To each his or her own. For me... I've outlined my thoughts above. And yes, THE BAGS ON THE LRST ARE NOT READY FOR PRIME TIME. Harley take note. You really blew that one. Get some Leather Pros and replace the OEM bags... before you lose one after a hard pull.
Great comment. Lots of fantastic information here and I read over each point. I really appreciate your time and I hope you have a great weekend!
@@TyFromTennessee And you as well. Trying to get to 500 miles on the RG Sunday. At 410 now, so it won't be too hard.
I did sturgis trip on mine, 750 mile days. But i am 5’7 😂. I do believe if your over 6 foot the st isnt going be a good tourer. But for my size this thing is great 🤘🏼😁. I do have full ohlins front and rear with a windshield that works great for me.
I concur, you are nuts. I would go with the SGS. No contest especially for longer trips. The LRST is a bar hopper in my humble opinion.
hahahaha! Thanks for watching Cornbread!
Hey nice videos …
One question can you install traction control in this bike from Harley Davison ?
@@juanvalles8968 yes it's an HD option.
$200 optional for traction control. I love my ST, also changed my seat to tall boy, from Saddlemens I’m 5’11” works great.
I’m coming from the sport bike so the middle controls isn’t a issue for me.
I'm thinking maybe a sporster or a breakout is a bar hopper but not the st.. yes the touring bike will ride better pounding miles on an interstate ..
Road a cruiser/softail for decades. Switched to a Street Glide last October. Loved the music and navigation, but couldn't get used to the extra 150lbs up front. Traded it in for the Low Rider ST. WOW! Might spring for the sound system next year....but still WOW.
You know dats right! That's really the only thing that I believe my Street Glide has on the Low Rider ST. I plan on getting the RockFord Fosgate sound system in a month or two anyway. Thanks for watching! Much appreciated!
My hubby and I love your channel and appreciate your content! I own both a Road Glide and the low rider ST and they are both wonderful. Have to say for a petite 5'4 lady, even with mods made on both bikes, I do prefer the ST. Lighter, faster, mid-controls and sportier. I do love the infotainment on the 22 road glide and rides super comfy as long as there's no stop and go traffic. Both are great bikes, but the low rider ST is more versatile for me on any road or traffic conditions. With a reach seat and bars, new pegs and shifter, and a mounted Garmin for GPS/audio/calls, you can transform the ST into a baby road glide. Keep up the great videos and safe travels!
Hi Dianne! The Low Rider ST really is an all-around wonderful motorcycle. I'm just bummed that mine will be in the shop for its 1K service and I won't be able to ride it on Sunday. I'm currently trying to sell my Street Glide CVO because the Low Rider ST is just the perfect bike for me. Thank you so much for watching my videos and supporting the channel. It means a great deal to me!! Ride safe...
100% correct 👍🍹 Street Glide is big n beautiful but also much heavier when in traffic & slow manoeuvring ! The dash dies look heaps better on street glide 4 sure but adding a two instrument gages to the ST is just as nice 👍😀 Respect from steve in Bundaberg Australia 🇭🇲🕺🍹
One of the best comparison videos I've seen. Great job...Traded my Road Glide in on an El Diablo.
Love your username! Hahaha. Thanks you very much for that! That El Diablo is beautiful. Congratulations on that bike. Have a great day!
i knew you would choose the ST.... so far the best ride from HD... i have one!!! in my case from 883 upgrading to the ST is amazing !!
Yeah man. It's such a great motorcycle. Looking forward to see if H-D changes anything with the 2024 lineup. Thank you for watching!
Your pick at the end is surprising. Coming from baggers and having the opportunity to ride the ST, the main challenge I had with the Low Rider ST was the mid control pegs. If I would buy one, I'd have to get forward controls put onto it. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the bikes. Ride safe Ty. 👊👍🇺🇸
yep, agree 💯
That's cool man. I see your point. I'm going to be changing out the pegs, but I"m keeping the mid controls. I just don't want forwards on this bike. Thank you very much for watching!
Funny. Just bought one and put forward controls on. 😂
You can get aftermarket hand controls … things you might not even dreamed about… GDS Ram mounts and get a GDS docking station for an iPad and handlebar controller.. navigate your iPad .. then put heritage classic floorboards on it… yes they bolt right up_ brake lever and shifter also.. now.. you have everything the bagger has
I didn't know all that was possible, but it sounds like a pretty sweet setup. I'm looking forward to some touring on the LRST when the weather gets warm. Thank you very much for watching! I appreciate your time today!
First, I am impressed with how you jumped from one bike to the other well. I love my Road Glide and don't think I could ever change from this touring bike. I love your low rider, but at 5' 11", I feel it will be to short for me, and I will feel cramped. I also love the GPS on my bike and how it will get me hole from wherever I am at the time. I always say ride what you love and love what you ride. Ride Safe
The next time I see you I'll let you take the LRST out for a rip and you can tell me what you think. It's so much fun and very comfortable too! Thanks for watching HDR!
Good video. They're different weapons. If I'm on a long trip, my Road Glide is the choice. But for around town and shorter trips I'll take my LRST.
That sounds like good solid logic to me. Thanks for checking out the video!
I've been riding H-D fifty-two years. Everything from choppers in the 70's to Ultra Classics in 2000's. Something was always wrong with the bells and whistles.I'm thinking my next bike will be Lowrider ST with forward controls, floorboards and a tour pak.
There ya go! I don't think you'll be disappointed with the LRST. It such a great motorcycle and is highly customizable. Thanks for watching today!
I traded in my 2022 ultra limited for the ST.. few months ago.. so much happier with the riding I do.
I want to do the same but… wife rides with me a lot so the st prolly won’t work
@@CodyMcDonald89 is a step down for the passenger..I was worried too.. but I'm 5'7 and limited was great when going but I always felt like it was work for me.. stopping.. parking..etc..I lost my love for riding all the time.. great bike for long distance but for the few times I get time off.. it's mainly me 90% off the time.. so I made the call.. best thing I ever did.. the bike is amazing and I'm comfortable.. handles like a train on tracks.. it's lighter.. faster.. and I love the rawness of it.. and to top it off the suspension is great and my fiance loves it.. not a limited but still great for her.. just get a good seat and sissy bar... is cheaper payment and insurance
That's awesome! Glad to hear you love your ST. That's all that really matters. Take care and thank you for watching!
I was just looking at the low rider ST. Glad you posted this . I was at the Grand Rapids, Michigan Harley Shop just south of Hudsonville, Michigan.
Really loved that bike in vivid Black. I think you convinced me to go back and get it. Thanks from USA Michigan!
Hey Howard! It really is a terrific motorcycle. I've owned a few H-D's and this one is my absolute favorite. Thank you for watching!
Hi from NZ. Just a comment on fitting floorboards to the ST. I just went from a sport glide to the ST. Floorboards were lifechanging on the SG but even with fully adjustable 6 position foot boards it just did not work for me with the st. high mid peg position.
Another problem is they are right where the side/jiffy stand is, making it almost impossible to operate. If you are fitting forward controls then go for it. Love the ST though.
love my 05.U.C. been riding since 70's. when I turn the front wheel the batwing turns. not having the fairing turn freaks me out. love the trunk space, cruise, stero. my wife loves the padded back. she feels safe, has fallen asleep numerous times.
Baggers can be so very comfortable for sure! Thanks man. I appreciate your time!
I had a 2019 Road glide and was one of the best Harley's I ever had for long trips , also had a 2021 Street glide and I like the looks and how close you have the infotainment compared with the road glide but was the worst over 60mph, a lot buffering and I didn't feel comfortable with the bike, I sold both bikes and I bought the 2022 lowrider ST and I'm the happiest guy on earth, light bike, fast, great looks and comfortable (no like the road glide but really good )
I just need to get the stereo to finally have the perfect Harley for me .
That's great to hear man. I love the Low Rider ST and it's probably the best H-D I have ever owned. Looking forward to more miles this spring/summer on the motorcycle. Thank you very much for watching!
I love my Street Glide, but I am small so the ST looked inviting. However, they made it taller, so the weight difference may not give me any advantage. The company doesn't claim that a tour pak fits, but I have seen some installed. They need to include that if they want people to tour with it. Nothing like a tour pak. Waterproof, lockable, clean and neat. I do want to try out an ST when they become more available.
I have a tour pak on my SG but I won't be putting one on my Low Rider. I will add a removeable luggage rack for when I take road trips. Thanks for watching Lynda. I appreciate your time today!
I just bought one this year. I am also short so I had the dealer install a progressive one inc lower shock it’s awesome. I have also installed a quick release tour pack from Advanblack. I’m coming off a 2017 cvo street glide and this bike is more comfortable on the bumps.
Was that a Harley part, that 1" lower shock?
Hi great channel very nice mounted ;)
Hi! Thank you very much for watching! I appreciate your time today!
At my age I’ll take the ST and in two more years I’ll step up the comfort to the glide. Great job on this Ty!
My SG is nice, but the real fun is with the LRST. Thanks Brett. Have a great day!
I dream of owning these bikes.. I will have one in time for sure. I'd probably go low riderST at this point in my life. I aspire to be like you man. Well done 👍
For the record I like both street and road glide cvo models. The new 2023 unveiling blew me away!
That's right! Both new CVO models are outstanding! I really like them both, but man the LRST is such a fine motorcycle. Thank you very much for watching!
Definitely the bagger , love my 2019 CVO S/G with the 131 !
Rockin' the 131!? Love it, man. That is awesome. Take care out there and ride safe!!
Im on a RK so caint comment on either. Ty it was a very nice presentation and summary of the diferences and the perks each has to offer. Love your content ✨️
Hi Frank! I love the Road King. I first H-D was a black 2018 Road King and it was awesome. Thanks for watching. Much appreciated sir!
*Amazing. Big lk frd 👍 Thank you so much for share*
Thank you very much! Both are great bikes and it was tough to choose!
I got my FXLRST after having my Electra glide for 2 years.. I changed my controls to Forward controls. Don't tell anyone - but I like my Low Rider ST. more than my Electra glide...👍🏻 😆 LOL 👍🏻
I want tell a soul...don't worry about it. I think I like the ST better than my Street Glide too. It's an awesome motorcycle. Thank you very much for watching sir. I appreciate your time!
I have a similar stable of bikes: '14 Ultra Limited & '18 Sport Glide. For those who may not know it, the Sport Glide is a Softail (as is the Low Rider ST), but with a small removable "batwing like" fairing & hard side bags. Anyway: the Sport Glide came with forward mounted pegs, which at only 5'8" tall I didn't like. But as it is a Softail frame, I investigated the possibility & ultimately replaced the pegs & the peg mounting brackets with Fatboy mounts & Heritage floorboards. Way different ride & I really like it. If possible on a Low Rider, you would also have to switch out the shifter & rear brake controls, but it may be worth investigating.
That's awesome man. Glad you found something that works for you and your ride. I've done quite a few mods to the Low Rider ST now and I just love everything about the motorcycle. In my opinion, H-D did a fantastic job with this one. Thank you very much for watching and have a great weekend!
great review! haven’t seen this comparo yet, awesome video
Hi Eric. Thank you very much for the nice words and encouragement. The LRST is such a wonderful motorcycle. Looking forward to many more miles on there. Thanks so much for your comment. I appreciate your support for the channel!
I would like to see some reviews of the ST after some long distance touring .
That is exactly what I'll do when I get to take my first weekend trip out of town so far I think the LRST is going to be a great touring motorcycle. Thanks for your comment. I appreciate your time!
Read in a comment that this motorcycle isn’t more comfortable than a sportster. Is that true?
@ I heard the stock seat sucks that may be why. And needs a taller windshield
I have the 2023 lowrider st and 2020 Road Glide st both with 475 SS cams love the lower rider st easy to maneuver Handel like a sport bike and fast .
Thanks Charles. I'm researching cams for my LRST now. Still searching, but I'm hoping to get that project going soon. Thank you very much for watching!
@@TyFromTennessee I have 475 on both my Road glide and the ST , talked to SS and he told me he has two dyno and depending on the day and who is operating it you can get anything . The 475 is very fast and i like them very much.
Great job comparing and contrasting these two bikes.I'm turned off by the bare bones cockpit of the LRST and the cheesy digital instrumention.I saw an LRST in the showroom in that tobacco fade color which was awesome imo.I wish they would offer a choice of chrome for those of us who aren't fans of the blacked out look. The LRST is EXPENSIVE,for what it is.I'd step up to the road glide for that reason, and get all the things lacking on the LRST.Thanks again for your presentation.Great info.👍👍
You make a good point I would love to see the LRST in chrome too. it’s by far one of my favorite motorcycles. Thank you so much for watching and have a great day!!
I never thought I would care anything about having a stereo on a motorcycle, but not that I do I am spoiled and my wife likes listening to music while we ride. I also really like being able to have the trunk. Plenty of storage for traveling and my wife feels very comfortable with it. So I guess I would have to go with a Street Glide with a touring pack. (Mainly because my wife likes to ride with me now.)
That's great man. I only ride solo, because my wife doesn't want to ride anymore. My plan is to make the ST a great touring/overnight motorcycle. Thanks for watching buddy!
Either bike I'd be proud to own , but i agree 👍 I'd definitely take the ST but change the bars & also put floor boards in & two gage instruments on dash & add speaker system & probably slightly jack up the rear suspension, & add a slightly higher wind screen that's clear & not black 😝 Steve from Bundaberg Australia 🇭🇲🕺🍹
Hey Steve! Yes sir. Both bikes are incredible, but I really love my LRST. It's such a fun bike to have. Thank you so much for watching and have a great day!
My simple choice was both luckily enough. 2014 street glide for those long highway trips and good cruises with the lady. Then there is the terror 2022 lowrider st. Two different bikes and rides.
I understand that! I love both of my bikes too. I will probably end up trading the Street Glide next year when H-D releases the new lineup. Not sure what I'm going to get yet, but it will be a lot of fun! Take care sir and thank you very much for watching!!
Truly get that for sure. Can’t wait to see what comes next. Keep on ridin
I'll stick with a Road King. For me, best all around bike. Ride safe
Hey James. I love the Road King. My first H-D was a black 2018 Road King and it was awesome. Thanks for watching. Much appreciated sir!
Very nice Ty I have a 2005 Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad 1600 and just bought a 2015 Honda Stateline 1300. I love them both it doesn’t matter what you ride just ride.😎
That's exactly right! As long as you are happy who cares what anyone else thinks! I appreciate your time today Brett. Thank you for watching!
I bought a street bob 114 when I got my riding license. I asked to ride street glide special at HD Lisbon dealership.
Let's see how it goes.
I like the features of that bagger, but sadly I don't have the financial means to buy it
I understand Luis. Motorcycles can be expensive. I love the StreetBob. It’s a great bike. Thank you very much for watching!!
St growing on me but have to go street glide
Both are great bikes. You just can't lose with whatever you pick. Thanks for watching!
I'm with you. Not having ridin' either, the Street Glide just looks better.
Great comparison. Wish the low rider had forwards and a more comfortable position. What towns are you riding through? Absolutely beautiful scenery.
Hey there! I love my Low Rider ST. Probably the best motorcycle I have ever owned. I was cruising through some of the back roads near Cleveland, TN! Thank you very much for watching!
I have a Road Glide CVO 2019 on which I have ridden 40’000 KMS. I recently did a trip to Greece on my 2021 Pan America, about 6500 KMS in 2 weeks. I have to concur, I am in the process of selling my CVO for an ST because my go to bike has become the PA. Maybe the weight, maybe the high KMS, but I have to concur with you. For me it has become too much of an « occasion » to ride the CVO and as you see I ride a lot. (132000 KMS since 2017). For me though I would not even consider the ST if it did not have the 117.
I love my ST and it has totally replaced my CVO. I’m hoping my local dealership can help me sell the CVO at this point. Thank you very much for watching.
Street Glide would be my pick ... it's got floorboards, better dashboard, easy to see dials and front fender has better coverage of the front wheel. But not the Street Glide Special or the Street Glide CVO ... the new Street Glide ST 117 of course (in grey).
The SG ST is a great choice too! It's really tough to pick a #1 bike when you start giving it some serious thought. Thanks for watching today!
Great vid 👍
I am very excited 2 get my new low rider st this month 😎
Greetings from Munich Germany 🇩🇪🥨🍺
Thank you so much! I'm glad to hear you are looking forward to your Low Rider ST. Congratulations! You will love it! I appreciate your time today!
@@TyFromTennessee thx
where u living in tn?
The big deal about the Low Rider ST is the fairing. (the handling)
Its a motorcycle, and a well handling machine; everyone agrees. The Low Rider ST fairing has wind-tunnel science behind it. Its goofy looking. But, don't let that fool you. That goofy looking fairing deflects the wind (as Ty says, inside a bubble) so that you are sitting pretty, completely free from buffeting; its amazing, and you have to try it to believe it.
As Ty points out, the Street Glide CVO is too fucking heavy; its just not fun. My Heritage Springer Softail (800+ pounds) is as heavy a bike as I'll ever want. Although the tech on the CVO is cool, it pales in comparison to the tech on the Sportster S. And, I want my music in my helmet.
The lack of tech on the Low Rider ST is unforgiveable; period, and Harley-Davidson should be ashamed. The Low Rider ST should have the same tech as the Sportster S... in my opinion, they should have put the Revolution Max platform in it also. But, hey, that little itty bitty 2.1 inch digital calculator display (ca. 1970) they call a dash is simply embarrassing.
But, if you want a motorcycle that gets out there and handles well, the Low Rider ST is for you. It is a joy to ride, a real pleasure.
marcus
As always Marcus your points are well-thought out and valid in many ways. Thanks for watching sir. I think you're awesome sir...
The LRST is more expensive than a SG Classic, but the LRST has less features. I think the LRST is overpriced. Might has well get the LR S, put a Memphis Shades fairing on it, and get Viking bags. It'd still be less expensive than the ST.
I have a 21 Low Rider S and a 03 Road King Classic. Id go with a bagger. Im more of a touring rider. Both are big bore. 95ci and 128ci
It’s tough to pass up a H-D bagger for sure.
I would go for a Lowrider S, I am not a fan of a fairing. A screen is useful, but I’d rather have a detachable one
That's cool man. As long as you know what you want and like....it's all good. Thanks for watching. It is very much appreciated!
I see this video is 4 months old! I have an 2016 rdkg and a 2021 pan am. I just purchased a 2023 lrdrst. 3 totally different bikes. I've also been riding since 1965! I just have this need for speed. All 3 are quite fast. Stage 4 on my rdkg. 150 hp on the pan am. The st with 117 stock is over 100hp. And 120 lbs lighter than my king! Similar torque numbers as the pan am. Yes go to forward controls on the st and they make mini boards that work great. Put a 2 to 1 S+S exhaust and raise the bars to 12" and you'll be in heaven. The costs difference alone on a new cvo is ridiculous. And do you really need all the electric distractions? I looked at the new road glide trike cvos and with everything it's appeoach 60 grand! But thats just the way things are today. EVO pick ups are at 90 thousand! I have 8000 lb diesel and they start at 72 thousand. Where will it end?
Hey John! Those are some fantastic bikes and some awesome upgrades too! I really love my LRST. I’m keeping that motorcycle as long as possible. It looks like I’m going to be trading my SG in for a Road Glide soon! Thank you very much for watching sir!
Low rider ST all day for the simple fact that i'm a weekend warrior/ fair weather rider lol.
Hey Joe! There is nothing wrong with that. Ride when you are comfortable and ride when you want to. Be safe out there and thank you for watching!
Road Glide FTW! lol The Low rider st just doesn't do it for me, especially with those lop sided bags
That's cool man. To each his own with provolone...or something like that. Take care and ride safe out there buddy!
I've never ridden the LR ST but based on what I know I'd prefer the bagger.
Hey Jim. All that really matters is that you ride what you like. Take care and thank you very much for watching!
Idono, I need to try out the Low Rider ST. I really like it. But my SGS is so awesome.
Hey Ray! Both are fantastic bikes. You're right, it's a really tough choice for sure. Thanks so much for your comment. I appreciate your support for the channel!
Great video. LRST it is!
Thank you very much! The Low Rider ST is a fantastic motorcycle for sure!
I like my tunes too much, gotta be the bagger for me, Ty!
Yeah man, I love to blast my music for everyone to hear. Luckily, I'll be getting the Rockford Fosgate system for the Low Rider ST, but I hear its on backorder until eternity. Thanks for watching buddy!
@@TyFromTennessee Oh yeah, I forgot that was an option/upgrade... I hope you get it sooner than the heat death of the universe!
ST for me
ST for me too!!
As far as Street Glides,, the faring is way better on the 2013 and below! I love my 2013 faring, the newer SG’s have a smaller and lower set faring,, I don’t like them!
That’s cool man. As long as you like your bike. It’s all good. Thank you for watching!
Cvo street glide Road glide any day!
There ya go! Fantastic choice. Thanks so much for your comment. I appreciate your support for the channel!
7k miles 1.5 years? I've only seen a few of your shorts, so not sure where live... I live in Seattle...cold and Rainy drizzle 175 days a year I still put 30k down ( I do tour though) in two years . 7k is a few months for northwest riders. Rain or shine.
I'm in the Chattanooga, TN area. Thank you very much for your feedback. Be careful out there and ride safe!!
I'm thinking the LRST if i can get the seat about 4 inches later and make it a proper sport tourer ..
You should be able to do that. The LRST is such a great motorcycle. Thank you very much for watching!
Interesting video! You have rich man conversations😃
Hey Dan! I also talk to myself on regular occasions. I should probably stop that. Thank you very much for watching! I appreciate your time today!
Totally agree!!!!!
Thanks Terry! I really love both bikes, but the Low Rider ST is just an incredible motorcycle. Thank you very much for watching!
ST thats foo show!
That’s what I think too!
Hi new owner low rider st and first bike Harley Davidson. I love this bike . I drove the street glide. my buddies Let me drive their bikes. there is no comparison between the two bikes. talking in stock form. Thx
Yeah Sergio, that is just about what I think too. It's such a great motorcycle. Ride safe out there and I hope you enjoy your new Low Rider ST! Thanks so much for your comment. I appreciate your support for the channel!
U aren’t crazy. Actually a lot of my friends are reverting back to softails from tourers. It’s simply a better choice.
I really love my LRST! It's such a fantastic motorcycle. Thank you for watching!
You should always have more than one motorcycle, flat tire, dead battery etc, you’re never down. Think about it.
That's what I say too. You always need one more than you have! ...my wife doesn't agree
Which one is more comfortable seat for long distance
With those two bikes I would probably pick the Street Glide. The Mustang seat that I had on that bike was so extremely comfortable with the backrest. BUT, with that being said you can still 100% tour with the Low Rider ST. I have a H-D Sundowner seat on the ST now and I love it. Great question and thank you for watching!
@@TyFromTennessee structure on street glide seat is bigger than st or same size?
How is it versus the other one when you pack up and go on vacation with them is the ST seller good choice . Can you pack just about as much on the ST as you can the bagger ? Take care . 😎👍
I'm going to have an answer on that very soon. Working on a video response to your question and I'm hoping to take a weekend trip on the ST so that I can see for myself. Thank you very much for watching! I appreciate your time today!
Just bought one waiting for its delivery heads up anyone who wants one and an audio system, they're on a 18 week backorder
Hey Abel! Dang man, 18 weeks! I was hoping to put an order in for the audio system very soon. Crazy wait time, but thank you very much for watching!
Hello, are you interested in testing products about Harley handguards?
Not at this time, but thank you for reaching out.
@@TyFromTennessee Thank you for your reply.
I will be that guy. If the lowe rider at had symmetrical bags, I wouldn’t consider any other Harley.
It's a great motorcycle and I understand why you would say that. Many people don't like it but you could always put different bags on the bike too. Take care and thank you very much for watching!
Thanks for this comparison. I'm really struggling between the LRST and RGST. The weight is really noticeable and most of my riding is weekend warrior stuff in the mountains, with an occasional trip a couple times a year. It makes the most sense and doesn't break the bank. I just love the look and feel of the Road Glide going down the road though. With Cycle World's leak about the 2024 CVO Street Glide today I may just go with the LRST for now and keep my eye out for the 2024 bagger ST models. Hoping they get the 122, VVT, USD forks, and radial mounted brakes. That will be a sweet bagger!
I saw that CVO. Sweet! The LRST is such a great bike. Early next week I have a video of LRST vs RGS. Edit starts tonight! Thank you for watching!!
Lowrider st…. Over street glide all day… Because it’s lighter…. Put forward controls on it…
Yeah man. I love my Low Rider ST. Forwards would be cool. I might do that at some point. Do you have forward controls on yours?
@@TyFromTennessee not yet… I priced it all out today…. I also want floorboards… and depending upon if I need to change brackets.. or not.. it could end up costing just about a thousand dollars.. if no new brackets. Then $500 if I do it.. probably 2 hrs labor if Harley does it.. I do want forwards and floor boards…
Well I stick with my Roadglide
....at least until they make the LRST in blue. Thanks for watching Doyle. Hope you are doing well!
@@TyFromTennessee nope I like my info center and Hydraulic clutch and vent that open and close and Saddlebags that are same size .
I still haven’t heard anything negative about the ST
Dude! I love this bike. The LRST is just so awesome. Easily, my favorite H-D. Thank you very much for watching!
ST
Me too George. It’s such a great motorcycle! I appreciate your time tonight!
Low Rider ST
For sure! 💯!!
The lowrider st is like a Fanny pack bike, the street glide is like a man purse and the road glide is one of those metro sexual backpacks for men 🎉
Sammy - Thanks for your feedback. What do you ride?
@@TyFromTennessee just a 2022 lowrider s no bags on my bike sometimes they would be nice
@@sammyvices2547 The Low Rider S is a great motorcycle. I have almost bought one a few times.
I don't think you're nuts...lol...well...not too far gone...lol. I'd love to hear WHY you made this choice.
Thanks Toby. I just love the way this bike rides. It feels like it was custom-made for me. Planning on a few more upgrades to make it complete. Thanks for watching. Hope to see you again soon!
Streetglide
SG is a fantastic bike too. Thanks for your feedback!
I ride a scooter. Those Harley's are way too expensive for my budget.
Pricey...but so much fun! Thanks for stopping by the channel!
You shouldn't have let your CVO hear that!
hahahahaha! You got that right! Thanks for checking out the video today!
😎👍👍
😀👊😎⚡💥
Neither. FXLRS for me
No complaints here Dave. I love the Low Rider S. It's a great bike and I've always had my eye on that one. Thank you for watching!
Good choice. Cheaper than the ST and you can put a fairing and bags on it, and it'll still be cheaper. The ST is about $2K overpriced.
Ive got both. Lol
Heck yeah man! Awesome. Thank you for watching!!
Lol. Get s RKS. The real deal
A Road King was my very first Harley. Great bike for sure…
A dependable bike like a Honda is what I would pick lol
If Honda is what you love, ride a Honda! My first few motorcycles were Yamaha and I have zero bad things to say about that brand. Thanks for watching today!
Harley is easily as dependable. Don't buy into the fake hate ...
@@k9m42 In your dreams I've owned them all over the past 50 years. And I own both right now 2 harleys and a Honda. Harleys are no comparison to a Honda. You can't melt one of those bikes down and pour it on a Goldwing. The Hondas are faster more dependable and handle better than any Harley that they produce from the factory. No hate it all I do love my Harleys. But the truth is Honda is better overall.
