    I hope that more blue tongue skink subspecies become more popular in the states. I really want a centralian blue tongue.

    Wow! They get so big so fast! I'm amazed that they were only hatched out a year ago. They look like little, chubby, foot long, sausages, with cute blueberry squishy tongues. They really are such neat and docile lizards and I like them very much. Thank you for sharing them with us. 😊👍

    Mate, thank you so much for your videos and sharing your expertise in keeping reptiles in general. I appreciate it as a newcomer a lot and I know my Blueys and future Geckos will appreciate the experience you're sharing with me as a keeper.

    Hey Coop, I've been wanting to get a Blotchy for a while now .. especially since my son back home last year, with his 2..and has since moved out with them again 😭
    I'm REALLY interested in having a chat about if you'll sell any babies when your beautiful mumma has hers. I'm down in Melbourne..which is why I want a Blotchy, father than a Northern, or Central, etc (& preferably a pair).. but definitely 1.
    Be great if I could have a chat to you about it. I prefer your set ups & your lizards look super healthy!!
    Hope you had a good weekend! ✌️

      @@coopsreptiles2588 Yeah, awesome. I'll remember that next time I want to mix up my shinglebacks diet a bit. Small question for anyone that knows too, I have a huge problem with ants getting to my lizards food since they're in an outdoor pen. How do you combat that safely, without posions that might harm the lizards? They refuse to eat if I disturb them too much before feeding so I can't really bring them inside or bring them out physically to feed. I just have to let them find it themselves.

    Random question, can blotched blueys breed with eastern or any other blue tounges?

    • @coopsreptiles2588
      @coopsreptiles2588  2 года назад

      they possibly can but It is not a good thing to do IMO. Species are species for a reason keep them separate

    I live just north of Melbourne and I found a lizard in my shed today - didn't handle it, and it seemed to have made a nest of dried grass under my lawnmower and it can get in and out of the shed so I decided to leave it alone. It seems much longer than these lizards in the video, maybe 60 cm long and very snake-like in appearance with tiny, skinny legs. Another different between the ones in this vid is that is seems to have hoops rather than blotches. Does anyone know what it sounds like? I want to leave it some food so I want to make sure I am leaving the right snacks for the species.
