    You made nice choices for snacks, of course there are some other but its impossible to include them all...
    And you did a good job despite not liking much sweet things :).
    From the salty ones you chose chrumky and that was very good choice, other very typical one is soletky. If I go for salty snack I buy one of these.
    From the sweet ones I like mila, kavenky and horalky. The other that looked similar named tatranky is kind of the cheaper rip off of the original in my opinion. Yes those snacks might not be very spectacular, as you said, you expected more. They are simple but yummy if you wanna something sweet. And they are sweets from our childhood.
    Kofila is sweet even for me and I like sweet things... I wondered what reaction you do :).

      @@palmacate A na strednom Slovensku asi v Lipt. Mikuláši sa vyrábajú podobné oblátky (Horalky a Tatranky) a volajú sa Gerlašky a Kriváňky, keď sa človek túla tam, môže na ne natrafiť 😀. Ten závod patril pod Seditu Sereď, len si musel vymyslieť nové názvy, keď ho predali inému majiteľovi. Alebo sú to už iné oblátky? Je tu niekto z LM, čo vie o tom povedať viac?

    With the exception of the chips pretty much all supermarket Slovak snacks are awful. They remind me of really cheap corner shop food we used to buy in the UK like 40 years ago. 🤣 The best snacks are actually not in supermarkets and shops they are on the stalls in cities and towns. Ice cream is fantastic here, Trdelník is simply irresistible , langos with cheese and ketchup yummy, virtually everything you can buy in traditional stalls is lovely.

    You're trying to eat sweets and you're complaining about a lot of sugar in those. :D You have tried Fidorka and your bite was that tiny, you didn't even came through the thick chocolate edge, so basically you have said, standard chocolate is too sweet for you. :D Maybe you're not the one who should be testing sweets, maybe other kind of food would be better :D But almost all of our traditional foods are just caloric bombs :D As I'm looking at you, it seems to me, that you're afraid you'll get fat after this video, so you barely bite those snacks. :D Btw there is no caramel in Lina and when I'm thinking about it, I wouldn't call it tyčinka, tyčinka is usually thinner and there shouldn't be waffer in it. When there is waffer in it, it's usually called keksík. For example Kofila is tyćinka, Lina is keksík.

    • @palmacate
      @palmacate  4 месяца назад +2

      @mtladanco, as someone else mentioned in the comments section, nowadays these kind of sweets are sweeter = more sugar, compared to the past, which means the quantity of sugars changes in each snack, and it can change throughout the years :) this happens everywhere.
      It seems, to make an example, that cookies sold in the USA contain more sugar than in the same exact cookie (same brand) in Italy or other EU countries… Hence, it seems pretty normal to me to evaluate how much sugar I feel/can taste in a sweets tasting video 😉 as I mention in the video, sweet food is not my favourite, does it mean I’m not entitled to make this kind of video on my channel?
      Also, you’re 100% in the wrong path in thinking I don’t want to get fat. Actually, I wish I weighted more, but I have some kind of super fast metabolism. So no, I’m biting only because I cannot eat 10 different whole snacks in a day, I would feel physically bad I guess, I ate them afterwards throughout next days (no food went to waste).
