This was a fun project. I like how these turned out. It was a lot of work smoothing the fabric out. If you plan on doing this, I recommend getting the tool that I used, the link is in the description, and take your time working with it. Get a long work time resin so you have plenty of time. A vacuum chamber is not necessary but will make it much easier if the resin is bubble-free before you begin. Really random, I moved from UK to NZ, have no sewing skills, but bought some patterned fabric in a shop that I just really liked and couldn’t resist. I just might make some of these using it to then post back home to family 🥰 thank you for your video 😊

These turned out brilliantly ,i love , i see ur material is thin , have u ever tried to resin 3mm or larger cotton cord , i want to resin cotton macrame patterns in resin coasters , goin down the rabbit hole of trying to get information brought me to u , should i seal it first , or just soak and do it in stages , i feel your a professional at experiments and experience, ❤❤❤❤

I was going to do macrame cord but I am not ready yet. I will be doing crocheted yard project soon. My thought is I will add the crochet to the resin and then into the vacuum chamber. If you don't have a vacuum chamber, I would pour half the resin and then lay the macrame cord and allow it to soak up through it. Maybe help brush it one to get it all covered. Then, after it sets, I would pour the other half to cover and hopefully not have air bubbles. I hope this helps. I will be working on the yarn bowls soon and that video should be out in September, I hope lol.

These are adorable! If I might ask, what do you wipe them down with after sanding them? I'm new to resin and have a ton to learn so I'm watching a lot of videos to help me on my journey. Love the video, TFS ❤

Did you seal the fabric with anything before you added it to the resin? I am trying to do a project with my FIL’s old ties as a Christmas present. I use UV resin.

No, I don't seal it with anything. It works great. The only time I would seal the item is if it will run color or oils, depending on what it is. Fabric has been good every time without sealing it. Sorry about the delayed response, I had major surgery and just got back into things. I hope your project turned out.

What’s the name of the circle wooden you placed at the bottom?

They are adhesive cork bottoms that I get from Amazon www.amazon.com/Hotop-Self-adhesive-Coasters-Squares-Supplies

I like your projects and how creative you are with the resin. My only issue is with the constant music. It would be so much better if you would do away with the music and just narrate what you are doing. I would prefer dead silence between narrations over the music. Other than that, great projects and great work!
