- It's been awhile since I filmed a day ride on the REM so I decided to film one this Sunday, November 12, 2023 at approximately 6:48 AM Eastern Canadian Time.
In this video, we are going from Brossard Station on the South Shore of Montreal to Central Station in Montreal.
The REM is very peaceful at this time of day, at least on a Sunday morning.
Note that I have a video of an even earlier ride on the REM that I took to get to Brossard just before sunrise. I also have a video of some interesting REM train action near the garage and control centre located just beside Brossard Station. I will upload both videos later this week.
As mentioned, this video was filmed on Sunday, November 12, 2023 starting at 6:48 AM Eastern Canadian Time.
Thanks for watching!
Pat....always fun getting a view from the front.
Yes it's a great thing to be able to do that on the REM.
Rem rides are always cool
Yes I love the REM
The rem make a futuristic sound
Yeah you're very right haha
😃🙂😀👍
The REM is a nice and quick to get to the south shore by avoiding traffic jams on Champlain bridge. Unfortunately, it’s current location makes it less convenient to ride for most people.
I agree.
It'll be interesting when their freezing rain if the overhead wires and electrical current of the trains react to the freezing rain buildup on the overhead wires
Very good point. We will see this winter I'm sure at some point
Hey patrick
Is the fair gates in ile des soeurs are working?
Not yet but soon I hope.
When is the noise reduction will be done?
Apparently it is supposed to be approximately 6 weeks and that was starting as of October 15. So I assume another week or two left before normal service.
Motor Sound same as Sydney Metro
Yep I think it's the same rolling stock the Bombardier Metropolis
Try go to Sydney if you consider
