In Spain's last year election, Vox, the far-right party, has decreased as well! Leading to the failure to form a right wing government with the main centre-right/right party PP.

@@EUMadeSimple Wiosna now is just a part of the party called "New Left" in Poland. This movement includes "Alliance of the Democratic Left", "Wiosna" and the "Together party". To be precise, only "Together Party" is really a strong lefitist party. The rest of the members of "New Left" joined the centrist, liberal, coallition led by Donald Tusk which is called "Coallition of October 15th" (October 15h was the date of the elections).
Only "Together party" is urging the goverment to realise leftist's postulates. Some of them are strictly connected to real estate politics (like building real estate by the goverment) and great infrastructural projects like "Central Communiciation Port". When it comes to swings in left to right of politics, what we are seeing is nothing new, we always seem to get swings from left to right over a few elections, usually because the people give one side time to deliver, they don't deliver so they give the other side a chance to deliver, they don't deliver and the cycle continues, left to right wing politics, at least in the west is always like a seesaw effect, so in this case, the right are gaining more seats, this will usually happen like it always does, they don't deliver and an election or two later, things swing the other direction, rinse and repeat every decade or so and you get an idea of how things go.
Ultimately, nothing really changes, if you look at almost all western countries over the last few decades and the swing from left to right wing politics, not much overall changes unless there's a radical in power, but they don't last that long in most cases because their radical policies are at odds with most of the population.

    • @avowen8762
      @avowen8762 3 месяца назад +10

Here's where you are wrong. While there is an observable pattern of shifting from left to right, what makes this case different is that governments that have been elected were/are so far left that we have been the farthest left we have ever been in history, even more progressive than the communists. Because of this the system is disfunctional and has bee, some could say a major disaster. Recently people like Meloni and Milei are considered to be far right yet their popularity and policies has skyrocketed ever since they came in power thus showing the people that the only way forward is to move less left on the spectrum and much more teo the right, in which we can get back to a normal level that politics has been like for the past 1000 years

True. But before moving to the center we have to swing all the way to the right path because there are things only that path wants to accomplish and which we need. Once those things are accomplished, a movement back to the left path will commence, bringing us back to the center.

Its not a cooincidence literally every (with an exception of Estonia [or Estland; for some reason i only remember Polish and German name of this country]) post communist country is fairly conservative.
      2. Current government would be considered 'center' 10 years ago, mate... PIS really brainwashed Poles into believing, any other party than PIS is left...
      3. You have no idea what actually communism stands for. Not for 'liberal ideas' - like giving equal rights to all of the citizens of a country - no matter if they are homosexual, democrats, nationalists etc. Communist countries are by its nature even more patriarchal than conservative democracies.
      4. PIS lost elections because they are bunch of lying ultra catholic thieves. 75% of their voter-base are 50+... Let me explain Polish politics:
for non Polish ppl things might be confusing because polish politics is in general shifted right compared to most of developed countries.
    This basically means:
PO/3D (current polish gov) by international standards is pretty much “centre-right” while by polish standards that’s “left”…
Actual polish “left”(Lewica/Razem) by international standards is “centre-left” while by polish standards it’s “far-comunist-left”.
Polish “right”(PIS/Konfederacja) by international standards is “authoritarian-far-right” while by polish standards it’s “right”.
Basically Polish “right” is all about limiting personal freedom and human rights.
In Poland there is currently no libertarian party - (Konfederacja is preaching completely free market and lack of economic regulations… BUT they are also the most authoritarian “theocratic” political option… So zero personal freedom or human rights for people.) Therefore can’t be considered libertarian.

@@erf2324 Media in Poland are foreign-owned and they have been running a negative campaign against PiS day and night, that can be called nothing but "black PR".
Plus thousands of paid trolls in Internet (paid by whom?...) spreading brutal hatred.
Communism wasn't attacked so brutally as PiS was! (I remember the 80s)

They didn't. Those opposing made a huge agreement to form a minority coalition. What the people wanted was a more moderate right path, not a massive run into the left wall!

Donald Tusk is also a far right-wing politician. He's just not nationalistic but far-right economic neo-liberal.

The level of lies at the very beginning of this video is so high that if you showed it at a job interview for TVN television in Poland (the PO party's television station), you would get the job immediately. Completely "by accident, you forgot" to show the results of other parties in the elections compared to PiS... Well, then your video would lose its meaning. I didn't watch any more of this shit, but I'm guessing there's more "valuable" content there
