HueForge will let you color existing models too, so if someone does model terrain geometry, they could load that STL into HueForge and see what it would look like with different colors near the top. You would definitely want to print the lower parts at more normal layer heights though.
you could print a base with clips and just glue them onto it. Printing them together would make the waste more but if you used a clip system in one color it wouldn't have any waste besides what the tiles produce.
Hueforge is great alright & dungeon tiles is a nice use for it! If you had lighter areas on the tiles, or yellowed areas, they could be where the dungeon floor is lit up by torches?!
One thing, its actually the lowest slider that prints first, rather than from left to right
Yeah you definitely could and that would look pretty amazing! Good point about it not actually being left to right, just the order I got used to working in because it seems like it makes sense.
@@GrayScalpMiniatures Ya I always end up doing it left to right too
What type of filament did you use to get those flexible tiles?
Thanks for this vlog, very informative, and has so many unique combinations, should suit the needs of almost everyone 🙄
Could you get some tips for the keywords you used?
NICE!
Please don't use AI generated art. It's unethical
If it's for personal purposes, no one cares
The only thing that’s unethical about using AI is if you claim that it’s your own original art work. AI is just a tool.
Honestly, the working artist in me agrees, but we watched manufacturing fire countless people in favor of machines for decades, we missed the chance to fight this because we just didn't care, it didn't impact us. It's kinda like watching your neighbors house burn down and doing absolutely nothing about it until it started spreading to your house.
Using AI in place of where you would have used a person for a commercial work may be unethical. However, in this case no human has been removed from the process. Regarding the ethics of the data the tool is trained on, that is for the rights holder and corporations that make the tools do decide. Not the responsibility of the consumer. Here he is just replacing searching for dungeon tile images on Google with an A I art tool. The lack of nuance in the anti-AI argument is what's making it difficult to make people in general care.
@@Delta9ChurchI agree mostly. Thankfully there is still time to make sure the tool is created, implemented, and used responsibly
