RIP Duangphet Phromthep who sadly took his own life. I am so glad to hear that the others are doing well. It seems only yesterday we were waiting for news of their rescue.
why did he do that?? :(
It was said he died if a head injury in a dorm in England not suicide
@@mrbigw100 When news first came out, it was said of a head injury-related accident but later was determined suicide and was recorded as such. Either way what a tragic end to this poor lad who has been through so much. I hope he has finally found peace.
That’s why it took so long for them to tell us how he died! 🤦🏾
@@ThunderRoad1 OMG so sad after all he had endured and overcome at such a young age. Then to earn a football scholarship. It would not be surprising if ptsd played a role.
Such an amazing kid. Not forgetting the 2nd chance God has given him. Good luck and God bless.
Those European guys off that boy nows he is in heaven. I was worry that was going to happen. Racism is evil.
What beautiful spirit he has. He's so wise and articulate.
"articulate" because of "speaking english"!!!??
.... and "wise"!!!?? How did you deduce that?
@@caroln3564 articulate because he can "articulate" what he has in his mind well on a language not even his native tongue
You don't know how hard that is for some people
Quit jumping into conclusions and get a life instead of trying to antagonize everyone like you're onto something, Karen
@@JeyC_ ... so lazy to call anyone who says what you don't like "karen" ... and so "elitist and supremacist" to think "learning hard English to articulateness" is an "achievement".
"Articulate" is not reserved for "English" only.
... and, just in case you missed the "question marks (????)" in my "comment" ... re-read calmly this time around.
@@caroln3564 being articulate on a language not of your native tongue IS an achievement
I'm a Filipino, if someone who's Vietnamese expressing his thoughts cohesively at speaking Tagalog(my native tongue), I'd say he's articulate too!
Has nothing to do with English. Has everything to do with PROFICIENCY at using language for expressing your thoughts. Which again, alot of people actually struggle
Stop with the oppression olympics, Karen
@@JeyC_ thank you for answering the first part of my original "comment".
... and the second part ... the "wise" part ... will you answer that one too?
I'm happy that they're doing well 5 years later. It's unfortunate Dom isn't here today. May he rest in peace.
these young men share an indelible bond - their courage and maturity in face of such adversity amazing- never forget
the British divers who found them asking how many there were - when he got the answer he replied brilliant - from
then on there was hope for them and it truly was a miraculous rescue - just the best of humanity all round-
.... ummmm, you might want to revisit this "case" to review your "humanity" thinking.
@@caroln3564take your own advice there
Good for you, Adul! So happy!
Why are you "happy", exactly?
@@caroln3564 I was happy for Adul, because he is able to pick up more English than last time he spoke about the cave rescue.
My late mom was deeply touched by the whole rescue news story at the time that she would recall correctly within the movies what part of the plan came first.
She passed away this year in April due to liver cancer, FYI.
If she were here to see this then, she would praise and cheer for him as he was brave and devoted to everything that he is and had to do in his life.
@@devonheart1029 his "english"!!!! Really!!!!???
It makes you happy he now has a better grasp of "english"!!!!
Astounding.
@@caroln3564 It is a long Reasoning i would write long about. Don't be rude about what I say!
@@devonheart1029 which part is "rude"?
They all are very brave. I wish the best for all of them ❤️
It's really sad that one of them died in London in his dormitory due to unknown illness.
I still cries thinking about it, even after 5 years.
Rip the team captain dom who died in England from a head injury and the 2 Thai navy seals suman and the seal who died from a blood infection he got in the cave
It’s been 5 years? My goodness.
I am glad that the they are doing really well in Life.
How do you know that? You consume whatever crap you're "fed"?
One of them did a suicide
Thank you TODAY for this story. Adul Samon is such an incredible resilient young man who is wise beyond his years. Props to the head master Laura Danforth and the Stein family who worked to welcome Adul.
Best wish from peter sandstedt in sweden wish you al a great evening
Who?
10 days in I can’t believe no food lots water with out water they can’t make it wow this was huge
His English is great.
This was so hard to watch and I can’t believe how they got them all out
I'm sure they are doing ok
Sarcasm, right?
Anyone commenting on how good he learned to English in five years?
he has always known how to speak in English, he was the key to helping his other teammates out because he translated what the british divers were saying and instructing to his teammates. His time in England just helped him become more well versed
Some poeple slating the movie saying it was completely incorrect. Not sure how
เก่งมากค่ะ 👍
Nangis bgt, mereka udh besar bersyukur mereka selamat dan dapat melanjutkan hidupnya❤
my friends dad was the hero in this
One of the hero’s.
he is from Compassion International!
Everybody else managing his life spoke, as well as the reporter directing us what to think. Hardly heard a thing from him. I suspect in many ways life is a lot more stressful now that everyone wants ownership of him.
Unfortunately, one of the survivors committed suicide earlier this year 😢
is it? I thought due to an unknown illness.
Could be from the K holes they induced. They used a lot of ketamine to keep em immobilized. K-holes can be traumatic for some and long long last de personalization plus dealing with memories of trauma. May have too much for some minds.
@@Historyglobal1220chill😂
@@Historyglobal1220you are talking absolute rubbish. More likely he was badly homesick than anything else
@@SingleAndAlmostBrokeinSurrey it was suicide.
Is that his real voice?
its a thai accent.
Bro got second chance his dead looks so suspecting he looks so growing so happy what would have happened justice should be served 🙌😔
All that water they weren’t getting out
I remember there was coal miners or here in USA trapped … some or they didn’t get out
Chile I believe
Their actions lead to one of their rescues dying, this isn’t a story of hope or inspiration, it’s a story of ignorance.
It's a tourist spot. They go their everytime like they said. Accidents happen. Agree that two men died but these 13 could have also died. There are equal chances. We can't hold that against them. Brave men lay their life for others are really great and they live for such incidents and die for others. They are special borns but remember these 13 didn't know all this gonna happen. This is just one unfortunate situation like what happened to Manjummel boys in India.
The cave is closed to the public during monsoon season. Monsoon season arrived unexpectedly early, so the cave was still open to the public. You might just as well blame the administrators responsible for the cave or the weather forecasters!
@@be_hopefulalwaysyeah?? It was ALREADY RAINING when they got inside the cave. That was stupid!
THE COACH SHOULD BE THE ONE WHO IS TO BLAME.
They had been in the cave lots of times. It was not yet closed for the monsoon season. It came unexpectedly early. Anyone could have walked into that cave. It was still open to the public!
No. The monsoon came out of nowhere. Even the British guy who had mapped the caves and was an expert on it had been planning to go to the cave like a day after the kids went in.
tham luang cave 😂😂
