An impressive summarized story and a relaxed interview with the kids and their coach. They have learned a lot about love and being loved and so do the world community. Good job James and abc news.
In my opinion, this Coach is a stone Morun, what Nut going to lead 13 kids in a 3 mile deep Cave in a rain storm in the first place, and late in the evening ....
As a guy from Denmark, this really warmed my heart. It was so emotional when they said everyone were found. I went to different websites to check if everything was okay and to see if they were rescued. When I heard 'Saman Kunan' died, it really broke my heart. It was not something that I expected and I'm so sorry to hear this. Thanks for saving the children. Thanks to everyone that contributed in this situation!
Same here after watchin the news from the bbc just today, remembering what had happened last 2018,and i had to google to read and watch the full news about this rescue
The most unorthodox successful mission I’ve ever seen. What an incredible group of people top to bottom. Really nice to see coming together in order to save children and that coach. Those kids are incredibly strong 👏
Despite honors given to everyone who took parts in this rescue mission, I just wondering, how come a soccer ball team ended up inside a cave in monsoon times of all times? The coach must take responsibility for all the casualties he had done. Lesson learned the hardest way because cave divers passed away from the coach decision to bring those child had their small cavern trip. RIP to those fallen heroes🙏🏻🌹🌹🙏🏻
@@alessia5405 It's also because of the coach that the boys were able to survive in there for so long at all. We all witnessed an amazing miracle. That each one could survive and be saved. I’ve just watched the movie on Netflix and cried a few times 😢. Then I watched documentaries on RUclips and this & I can’t help but still feel so emotional for the rescue of these Beautiful kids. I can’t imagine the stress their parents went though waiting & hoping they all come out alive. The kid that spoke, Abdul apparently knows 5 languages. Is this true? In the movie, the last mother of the youngest kid Mark confessed that they were illegal immigrants in Thailand. I wonder if they will get deported? I hope not. These people have suffered enough. I can’t image the divers swimming in dirty unclear waters for so many meters to get from 1 chamber to the next. Incredible skills. How fast the cave flooded is unbelievable. I wonder if it’s a good idea to install like first aid boxes or tools in specific locations so if ever anyone gets trapped ever again they can survive until help arrives? Also, would they consider either fully closing this cave in monsoon season or cut open another opening so that flood waters can escape the cave & there is a 2nd option to enter into the cave? I hope no ever gets like this ever again. Kudos to the kids and the soccer coach for remaining calm & being cooperative with the rescuers. I wish you all now can heal & live a more abundance life with your loved ones. We all cheered for you all. 👍🏻👍🏻💗🙏❤️💖🙏🙏🙏🙏

What I find baffling was, how did they get that far in the cave? For me, caving activities are certainly dangerous and I would never do such because these things can happen, sudden earthquakes and thunderstorms can suddenly turn the tide.

Some of the kids had brought flashlights with them into the cave and were probably smart enough to know not to keep them on at all times in order to conserve the battery. What are you getting at???
It was safe, usually. It was only June and the monsoon rains were not expected until July. It was just an unexpected turn of events. Fortunately, for the boys (who might have gone with or without Coach Ake) their, teacher, friend, mentor and football coach was there for them. The parents are grateful for the way the (assistant) coach Ekapol Chantawong always took care of their kids and put them before himself, and in this incident, probably kept them alive.
It was not safe the day they went into the cave. It had rained a lot in that area and the coach himself admitted that he and the boys witnessed that some parts of the cave were already flooded. The coach told the boys whether they wanted to swim pass this flooded area to go deeper. They all agreed and went in deeper and finally got trapped.
Actually, in Thai interviews, the team wanted to go in the cave as an excursion which they had planned to go for a while. Some of the boys never been inside and some have so the coach through it'll be a good a experience. They were only going to stay in the cave no more than an hour.
Its pathetic to thank God for all of this when the divers and the crew spent days to carry out this impossible mission. God has nothing to do with this. More people have to resist this delusion.
I agree with you. When they say thank God it's a miracle what they're really doing is denigrating the real life Heroes the people that put their lives on the line for 13 people they did not know
