Notice the difference in parenting styles between Rhaenyra & Alicent. When Jace returned from the North, Rhaenyra could see how much pain he was in. So she holds & comforts him, as they cried together over Luke's death.
Meanwhile Alicent sees Aegon mourning his son's death & she just walks away, unable or unwilling to comfort him. Instead, she goes right back to sinning with Cristin, like she did the night her grandson was killed in his own bed. Rhaenyra's sons were raised to be caring & decent while Alicent's first two sons turned out to be ruthless & self-serving, much like their uncle Daemon. Alicent also manipulates Halaena to be used as a pawn, just as Otto used her when she ws young. All she seems to care about in this episode is covering her own ass about screwing Cristin every chance she gets. She cares only about her own guilty pleasures "The Gods punish ME!" yet she keeps going back to get another round of sexy time... While I don't care for Otto much, Alicent is simply abhorrent as is Cristin Cole.

@@nancyberry1039 I think you're severely misunderstanding Alicent and her role as a mother. The nature in which Alicent vs Rhaenyra's children were conceived is very important to understand their roles as mothers. Rhaenyra's children were born out of love (Harwin), Alicent was a child bride and the 4 of her children were born out of marital rape from an older man she never wanted to marry.
Her family (alicent, otto, alicents children) all don't know how to communicate emotionally. We see it with Aegon and Helaena, then we see it with Alicent and Otto, then again with Alicent and Aegon, and Aemond only being vulnerable with this woman who kind of looks like his mother, being cradled.
Alicent really isn't the evil witch you guys want her to be. She loves her children but she cannot stomach them sometimes and I get it. Shes incredibly emotionally repressed and was alone for a long time.

he “Dance of the dragon” event that the show is depicting, isnt a typical story like game of thrones. Its a retelling of the events by different people within the “game of thrones” verse. So when people say “it happened this way in the books” technically no one knows how it really happened because the story is told multiple different ways by biased people on both sides of the war.

The events in the show were worse than in the book with blood and cheese. Both scenarios ended with the heir being beheaded but in the books it was a swift cut and in the show it seemed to be sawed off with a dull blade. In the book there may have been a mention of grape but none took place and in the book Alicent was checking on her family like a good grandmother and in the show she was getting piped down by Criston who allowed the whole thing to happen by not being on watch.

Mysaria (White Worm) must’ve made it back to warn Erryck that she saw his twin arrive. He had a hunch something was up, but burst through the door yelling “BROTHERRR!” You wouldn’t rush into the Queen’s room with your sword ready on a just hunch like that, so Mysaria must have told him or alerted someone. I hope the next episode will clarify.

I agree, but I think that's implied quite adequately. I'm not sure why people thought Mysaria herself was going to burst into the room. She wouldn't have been able to fight off any of the king's guard, let alone a swordsman like Ser Arryk. I think it's clear she told the guard she was with and he sent word up to the castle. Ser Erryk already had a funny feeling when he walked by his brother hiding (twin stuff), so I'm sure he didn't hesitate when he got the word.

WARNING BOOK STUFF: So the book this is based on is written from the point of view of a Maester writing history based on accounts from different sources that often conflict. So the book story itself in terms of the details and motivations is really an unreliable source of the full truth. So all the private conversations and revealing of individual motivations and hidden actions is some of the cool stuff the show can fill in that is not in the books. As far as what the show portrays accurate to the books the only thing I can recall is the hanging of all the rat catchers, Otto's dismissal and Cole given Hand of the King and the great fight between the twin brothers which has very different accounts from 2 sources that the show manages to draw some truth from each. The funeral procession is not mentioned. As far as the Blood & Cheese incident nothing happened to Halaena other that of course her son being murdered but in the books the extra horror is they have another son that is not in the show and Alicent is gagged and present in the room. B&C force Halaena to choose which son should be murdered or else they all get killed. Halaena reluctantly chooses the younger son Maegor and Cheese whispers in his ear "you hear that, your Mom wants you dead" and they kill the elder son Jahaerys. Halaena has visions of the future but is not anything like a long view schemer a la Otto, she is portrayed as on the spectrum in the show. Great reaction guys, there are so many huge events to come I cannot wait to see!

When you watch the show always remember that the greatest asset of the Greens is Vhagar, the greatest asset of the Blacks is Daemon. The show likes to parallel equal things in the same episode. Episode 7 Driftmark" of last season did just that with Daemon and Vhagar.
Regarding the question if Daemon told Blood & Cheese to kill the boy: We see Blood confessing everything to Larys. Later Crispin says to Arryk before he commands him to kill Rhaenyra that the assassins were sent to kill Aemmond NOT Jaecaerys. Daemon didn´t lie to Rhaenyra.

2:16 Aegon broke his father's entire model. Poor Viserys right now, he's probably crying right now because his idiot son is breaking his things.
6:30 Helaena, bewildered, holding Jaehaerys's toy and smelling the blanket she embroidered for him, the same one he used in the funeral procession.💔 That's how much Alicent was so worried about her daughter that the first thing she said to her was her own selfish interest and as if that wasn't enough, she even forced her daughter to participate in the funeral procession knowing it would traumatize her more.
8:33 I liked the funeral scene, it was well recorded,I liked that we saw Halaena's vision, when the carriage got stuck I thought that Jaehaerys' body was going to fall and his head was going to separate hahaha I was scared of that happening.
7:32 I thought it was so pointless the blood crying before larys started torturing 😂😂😂 he was a gold cloak and the most feared... and the guy betrayed the commander without even bleeding? he decapitated a child in cold blood but was afraid of larys? Seriously, just see the script
9:47 The way Jace looks exactly like Daemon at the council table was the best detail!!!
I'm going to talk about what Harry Collet, who plays Jace, said about his character. "I think Jace has a spark of Rhaenyra in him, but I also think he has a spark of Daemon [...] He hasn't really had a predominant father figure in his life, so I think he looks up to Daemon a lot."
10:38 This Scene with Daemon made me laugh a lot, He is Genuinely the funniest Character in the House of the Dragon, As if this man was laughing, smiling all proud of what he did until he saw that Rhaenyra was angry and then he said "Listen to me, It was a mistake "😭😭😭
11:39 Rhaenyra saying that she never trusted him doesn't make sense to me because if she never trusted him, then why did she ask him to marry her and tell him that she needed him to protect her? He's the only one who can protect Rhaenyra
And another inconsistency: being angry because the daemon was giving his own commands to guarantee the security of the castle after the usurpation because she was giving birth and incapable of making decisions, like she wanted him to wait? What if the hightowers attacked while she was giving birth?🤔
13:04 For a second she thought he had returned. Rhaenyra, Daemon isn't coming back so quickly, you called him a fool and I still tell him to his face that you don't trust him, what would you want, if my beloved called me pathetic after I gave him my world and showed my love with actions on duty, he was going to spend at least some time without seeing me.
May my queen forgive me but I'm with the daemon in not giving a damn about the boy who died, nothing would have happened if the greens hadn't stolen Rhaenyra's throne, the greens killed Lucerys, did they think it would stay like that? Now a child on their side has died this is a consequence of what they did
Remembering that the first attack was from the Green Team when Aemond killed Lucerys and there is even in the book who started the war in the book and saying that the green team started the war, not the black team.
In the part where Daemon says that Viserys was the failure, brother. Yes,Viserys was weak as hell and his political impotence is the cause of the dance. He let Otto and Alicent run wild,he trusted those snakes and an entire Kingdom paid for it.
I think all the interactions between the two (Daemon & Rhaenyra) are very dragonlike, you know, as if they were two dragons fighting (the real dragon's blood)
"I don't think she [Rhaenyra] realized how bad this is for her [...] She has Daemon by her side and now she doesn't, she will have to reap these consequences in the episodes to come" according to Ryan Condal, a Daemon's departure It will be a great loss for Rhaenyra!
Most people who wanted Rhaenyra to get rid of Daemon don't understand that if she hadn't married him, she would have died the second after Viserys died. and the count makes it clear that she will understand what Daemon's mere presence meant, obviously we can't take into consideration everything Ryan says because he and Sara are fragmented... anyway, we'll see.
when the two actors are theater children and the direction follows the rhythm without making everything rigid, this happened here in this scene... I even enjoy watching the two actors dance... the sexual tension, disappointment, sadness and anger of the characters 10/10,I don't understand much about technical issues, but I thought the way Clare just followed the actors was really beautiful.
“It's very complicated for [Daemon and Rhaenyra] because Rhaenyra feels a great sense of betrayal and a sense of injustice that is being directed at her. Ultimately, it's at the hands of Daemon with his impetuous behavior.” Matt Smith about Daemyra's fight in episode 2
Matt Smith about Daemon in episode 2
“I think the idea that she [Rhaenyra] doesn't trust him [Daemon] feels quite alien to him, because he thinks he's the most trustworthy person in the world for her, genuinely, so he's probably quite hurt by that”
“Fatherhood is a very complex idea for him [Daemon] at the moment. He's still in the throes of grief, so I don't think he's a particularly efficient father this season.” - Matt Smith on Daemon's relationship with his children
In the scene with Baela and Jace I thought it was cool because it showed more of their relationship, the part I didn't like was when Baela says that she sometimes hates her father, I was like🤷🏾‍♀️ because in the books, Daemon is a great father but unfortunately, the series' writers prefer to put Daemon as a terrible husband and a terrible father, and that makes me angry because I wanted people to see the other side of Daemon, which in the book there is more in the series, they don't have
Harry Collett talking about Jace and Baela
"You get to see a whole new side of Jace. This pain is changing him into a different person, but it's also matured him and we get to see these beautiful little moments between Baela and Jace growing as a relationship.
It's this scene with Aemond, seriously, you (screenwriters) are going to put him as a poor thing, that's enough Alicent now, even Aemond too, he's a psychopath, bro, in the books,he kills Lucerys on purpose, and when he gets home, he and Aegon and his family green they all make a fuss because Rhaenyra's son died here comes the series makes the boy's death an "Accident" and now makes Aemond "Repentant" for what he did? This is not the psychopathic Aemond of the books.
In the scene with Rhaenys and Corlys, I wanted them to show their sex and it's a shame even if they didn't show it, it's another thing for Rhaenys too, who in front of Daemon makes it clear that she hates him and behind him defends him 😂😂😂 typical of even relatives (it hurts if they like their way better)
17:25 In the scene with Rhaenyra and Mysaria I noticed that Rhaenyra was jealous. You can tell just by looking at her posture when she goes to talk to Mysaria, Rhaenyra only freed Mysaria because she discovered that she was Daemon's ex, yes Mysaria's history of slavery/servitude/abuse would make her eventually free her. there, but not as quickly as it was. (Our Queen is so jealous🤭)
and Mysaria giving a feminist speech and using Otto and Daemon as equal sides of the same coin? only saw the script
Otto shined in this episode. he used his great-grandson's death to gain popular support. he spat in his grandson's face that he wasn't chosen and that his father was right for that. and finally he told Alicent to keep her sins in order to tell the devil because he wasn't interested (and I'm not interested in knowing either) about Alicent's victimhood.
Even though she's fighting with her husband, she doesn't take off her ring, I feel bad because of the thickness of it, you can see her bones shining 😂😂😂

I think the writers may have left Alicent’s comment intentionally vague, to satisfy both the book readers and the show-only people.
As one of the latter, I assumed she meant that Helaena was ruined by watching her son be murdered.
But if the former group wants to interpret it per what happens in the book, by all means. The effect is the same: Alicent shows genuine pain at what has happened to her children/grandchildren.
Alicent sucks, but she’s not cold or uncaring. We see it in her facial expressions.
She just doesn’t know how to put her care into action.

Nothing happened to Helaena physically either in the book or in the show. This was, however, a terrible mental blow to her (worse in the book in fact), especially considering her psyche. That's what Alicent meant.
OK, this is looking like a pattern at this point. Do people actually not realize Helaena is autistic? This has been all but spelled out literally every time we saw her.
That's why she doesn't like to be touched. That's why she doesn't like loud noises. That's why she can't stand crowds. That's why her behaviour is always off. Is it really not obvious to people?

I feel like this episode, specifically, shows Alicent's failures as a mother. 1. Faced with her daughter's grief, she can't help but center it around her own shortcomings, asking Helaena about what she saw instead of empathizing with her loss. Aemond seeks the maternal company of an older woman, implying that he is starved of motherly love. And seeing her son, the king, weep, the one time when she could have probably guided him as she said she wanted to do, she freaks and instead stumbles back into her own self-destructive habits.
Of course she loves her children, but she is a bad mother. And in this regard I cannot really see Otto in a good light in spite of him being presented as the brains behind the throne - Alicent learned her parenting skills (or lack thereof) from him, after all.

This ep def showcases Alicent's parental failings, but it also absolutely shows how those failings are derived from the ways she was failed by her father. The generational cycle of it all. He gets mad abt the rat catchers, never mind what he did to the nobles last season. He gets mad that Aegon and Cole conspired to kill Rhaenyra when he himself conspired to do so last season. Aegon never wanted this, was never prepared for this, and now his son is dead. I think Alicent came to Aegon in the end to scold or advise him, but is really not equipped for being a supportive mother to her children.
And we see Aegon in his breakdown twisting his fathers ring. Of course he is broken up about Jaeharys, but in that moment I think what Otto said and implied (he was right about you, is that what you think) was playing in his head and the rejection and insecurity came flooding back. He had started to delude himself that his father chose him after all, that being king was a way for him to feel loved finally. But now his kingship just means the destruction of his family and his grandpa trying to use him and his son as tools.

    • @lynnraven6101
      @lynnraven6101 3 месяца назад +18

I think you’re spot on. Aegon himself was not of the belief that his father loved him enough, but he so badly wanted to believe it that he kept telling himself he meant something to Viserys. In that moment, Aegon hears his lifelong insecurities prattled back at him, by his grandfather who subjected him to this seat in the first place, endangering him and marking his family as a target.
Aegon is not a good person, but I genuinely could not help but feel terrible for him in that moment. He was putting on a brave face until he was alone to weep and break down. It’s just so sad how broken this family is, especially on Alicent’s side.

  • @arianaquinones5359
    @arianaquinones5359 3 месяца назад +16

One thing about Aegon is that although he’s obviously currently acting irrationally out of grief he’s not completely and utterly stupid. He wants a hand ready for war and willing to help him get revenge while also being loyal to him and doing as he asks. Otto although obviously loyal to him is also against war at the amount and isn’t willing to do as Aegon asks as is clear in the way that Larys pointed out to Aegon last episode that Otto wants to control Aegon’s rule the way he did Viserys’s. Aegon wants a hand who will follow his wants instead of pushing for their own. Criston in Aegon’s eyes is an extremely talented sword(right behind or with Aemond) who can do a good job leading his armies into battle while also staying loyal to Aegon throughout, since Aegon has known Criston since he was a child as a guard loyal to the greens and willing to spill blood to prove it. Criston was also the only person in this episode besides Aegon who actually did anything to attempt spilling blood for what happened and Aegon clearly likes that.

I’m sure others have pointed out - the scene where Alicent walks away while Aegon cries is mirrored in episode 1 where Jace starts to cry and Rhaenyra hugs him and comforts him. Rhaenyra was given love and Alicent was given obligation. So that is reflected in how they parent.

  • @qwanellpullins9883
    @qwanellpullins9883 3 месяца назад +20

This episode and episode one showed me the vast difference in parenting styles when it comes to Rhaenyra and Alicent. When Rhaenyra saw Jace was hurting over Luke she instantly went to comfort him, however, when Alicent saw that Aegon was understandably distraught over losing his son Alicent turned and walked away. While I believe Alicent loves her children, it's clear she's not the best mother.

    • @kllrj08
      @kllrj08 3 месяца назад +3

@qwanellpullins9883 Exactly this. Alicent never truly knew how to be a mother to her children (not her necessarily her fault having grown up without one, but still). Even on the 3rd episode of the 1st season where baby Aegon is crying in the carriage on the way to the hunt, she hands him off to her handmaiden once he gets fussy. Cue to the 9th episode again in the carriage on the way to Aegon's crowning (As I type this i realize the brilliance in the writing for this parallel!) and Aegon asks Alicent if she loves him and all she does is scowl roll her eyes and call him an imbecile. They did a great job last season showing the difference in how Alicent and Rhaenyra are mothers to their children and effects of it. I love that it's showing now in this season even with Aegon now not knowing how to be affectionate and/or comfort Halaena on the stairs. Even Aemond calling Alicent by her name and not as his mother. Viserys is also to blame for not really engaging with his children with Alicent in any meaningful way as well, because of his guilt for Aemma and Rhaenyra. Whew the dysfunction jumped out!

Rhaenyra needs to be tough. Too much kindness will get her killed. I understand she wanna achieve her goals without spilling blood but the greens dont think that way. Aegon said they shouldve just killed her when they had the chance. The greens dont care if rhaenyra dies, they all want her dead except for alicent at this moment. I know killing the baby boy was very wrong. But I am with daemon in this argument. He just wants his house to be strong and not weak. Daemon is rhaenyras best hope and chance to win this war. Yes viserys was a kind king but too weak. He was warned from daemon about the hightowers and he never listened. If he married laena velaryon, there wouldnt be issues like this. Sometimes we cannot predict daemon and he has this bad temper where you dont know what his next move is, but he is right in alot of arguments. If daemon really wanted that throne, he couldve just killed viserys EASILY. Viserys didnt plan to put rhaenyra on the throne. He was trying to have aemma give birth to a son multiple times till she died. He never trained rhaenyra as an heir or kept her close, he procceed to marrying alicent. Daemon is rhaenyras best hope.. The greens already spilled blood by killing lucerys wether its an accident or not. Plus, she wasnt mad at him when they had to kill an innocent man for laenors escape.

What happened to Sir Erryk and Sir Arryk is was symbolises the tragedy of "The Dance of the Dragons" in House of the Dragon, the fact that brother fights brother, family fights family.
Otto Hightower gives such good Kris Jenner vibes in this episode and finds out later on that 'he's surrounded by idiots' when confronting Aegon for what happened with the Ratcatchers.
Never thought I would hate to my bones another character NEARLY as mush as Joffrey as I do to Crisby Cole. And also Cole has NO business at all being Lord Commander of the Knight's Watch, or Hand of the King. He can't be trusted, he's a liar, a smug. Remember back in Season 1, he was head over heals when he saw the White Hart and was proud for Rhaenyra, but when she rejected him, he turns on her, to Alicent. That tells you everything about him. It's also been said in the books that history does not remember him fondly because of his role in the Dance.
And also Alicent not comforting Aegon also shows that she can't bring herself to because she hardly had that her whole life, coming to court as a young girl, a young bride to the older Viserys, used as a pawn by her father in his game, and that is shown how she interacts with her children, Aegon, Aemond, Helaena and Daeron. (Daeron is only mentioned in this episode living in Oldtown).
(PS, Oak, it's understandable why you were heated after last episode, Blood and Cheese, was an event that the book readers were dreading BADLY.
Just remember Badd Medicine, House of the Dragon is based on the book "Fire and Blood", which is written as sources from accounts of the events, so the storyline is not completely accurate.

Lol even if Rhaenyra gave the greens Daemon, it's too late to stop the incoming trainwreck of the war.
Rhaenyra needs all the people she can get and Daemon was considered the best warrior of that time so she does need his skills as a commander. As for where Daemon went, a lot of people missed it, but he's mentioned several times he's going to Harrenhall to raise an army for Rhaenyra. I think we're gonna see in the next episodes how Rhaenyra and her team manage while Daemon has been basically benched for now.

    1) there’s no reason to believe anything more to blood and cheese happened than what we saw (no r words)
    2) i don’t think anyone would have predicted cristin cole becoming hand at that time- it was more a case of who was in the room at the time 😭
    3) cristin being hand might actually work to his and alicent’s favor in that her room is in the tower of the hand and he now lives in the tower of the hand ((iirc))

If you guys think giving up Daemon is a good idea you are out of your minds. He said it was a mistake. If you kill out everyone who made a mistake there would be no one left. Rhaenyra should have given better direction or any direction at all. If they would work together she would already have her throne back. They are at war, at this point who cares whose fault it is... Go win the war or stfu and bend the knee.

The issue is that daemon is rash and impulsive and doesn’t spare time to think about the consequences of his actions before he does them. He has single-handedly destroyed rhaenyras favour and reputation within the realm. She can’t trust him to carry out her orders or do what’s best to uphold her claim without him acting out rashly.

I have enjoyed the first two episodes so far but I can’t help but notice that it’s a lot more toned down than even last season and definitely more than the original G.O.T series. The 2 mouth drop moments have been way tamer than the book. The Blood and Cheese sequence and now the Twin battle which was way more meaningful in the book. The ending of this TV versions battle was confusing. Not sure why they’ve decided to go that route but will see how the rest of the season goes.

Someone should have told the show's creators that the protagonist doesn't have to be a holy hero, but they didn't. And they also forgot to tell them that a brutal clash of rich, dense images is ALWAYS preferable to a refined story about victims of circumstances. Even if in the first case all the characters are devils, scoundrels and ambiguous people who took a wrong turn. The Game of thrones has already trodden this road. Tywin, Jaime, Tyrion, Littlefinger, Stannis (our king), Dany, Theon, Euron - all are very far from the ideal personality, to put it mildly. And yet we either love them or love to hate them. But they are what make this story awesome. “House of the Dragons” needed the firm hand of a decisive showrunner who does not bend to today’s fragile audience. Alas

Alicent was referring to Helaena (and the everlasting trauma and guilt she’ll likely suffer from now) when she said “what they did to my girl”. Remember, Helaena ran off to Alicent’s chambers with her daughter, so there would have been no way that Blood & Cheese could’ve done something to the daughter.

The Dialogue between Otto Hightower & King Aegon in that scene was done so well! & the twins sword battle was brutal, You could tell neither wanted to fight each other but had no choice, but never expected Eric to do that to himself after! 😮 & its going to ve very interesting to see what Daemon does next & how Cristen Cole handles being the Hand to the king now.
Quinn "his no Joffey" & the wink he did in the full reaction, really enjoyed watching it! 😊💚

daemon feels slighted and anger for viserys passing him over as heir. that conversation/argument revealed the truth between them. however, daemon does love his family (in his own ways) and really hates the hightowers, the greens, more than anything. he always has. despite the issues happening b/t daemon and rhaenyra, i do believe daemon is loyal to his family (the blacks) and will protect them, esp having several kids.

Interesting little side note: Erryk and Arryk were the characters from this show introduced earliest in the original ASOIAF books, and I think mentioned the most. They're eventually regarded as legendary knights of the Kingsguard, the original GoT characters study them in their history lessons, and there's a set of twins named Erryk and Arryk presumably after these two. Just thought that was a cool connection :P

I'm team black all the way, but Daemon definitely weakened Rhaenyra. But even with that blunder, the Greens will lose despite have the larger army/dragons because Aegon is an idiot. The foot fetish guy (Laras Strong?) is totally going to lose his shit and blackmail Alicent. He knows she's sleeping with Ser Criston. He definitely wanted to be the hand. He's after the power and was planting the seeds episode 1. I see a Green implosion.

I think Aegon was mourning the ‘truth’ that his father wanted him to be king. When Otto laughed and said ‘is that what you think? Your father was right about you.’ Made it real that Alicent lied to put her son on the throne. He had mourned his son already, but now he knows everything he stands on was built off a lie and his father truly did want Rhaenyra to rule. I think part of him knows he isn’t a good king as much as he wants to be. Alicent couldn’t comfort him because she knows his father always preferred Rhaenyra. The ring he was playing with in that scene was his father’s, showing he’s thinking about him.

Criston has been butthurt that Rhaenyra wouldn’t destroy her entire life to run away with him, just to assuage his guilt. He’s the one who obviously consented to sleep with her. He only regretted it when she made it clear she wasn’t into him.

Alicent not comforting her son has several layers it seems. But, a strong one, I think, is that she has a father who lacks the ability/desire to provide emotional support, and that poor parenting trait has simply passed down to her as well.

Otto mentioned Jahaerys was his grandson but shouldn't it be great grandson, given the lineage as such from Alicent to Aegon? Doesn't make any sense. Did the writers miss out something?

A man could still call his grand children and great grandchildren grandchildren a like in every day language. It's more a legal differnce not so much a sociologicall difference. I mean we also called our great grand mother just granny and when she talked about us or my mother and her siblings she just said grandchidlren. Or Otto calls him grandson to show closeness.

The ending of this episode stuck with me. Alicent can’t even bring herself to comfort her own son in his time of need, and instead went to Criston Cole AGAIN. In contrast to Rhaenyra who immediately went to hug Jace before he even started crying, it really does show the reason why Alicent’s children are the way that they are (Aegon questioning whether or not she loved him, Aemond going off to another woman for maternal comfort, and Helaena sinking away whenever Alicent goes to touch her). Their momma would rather get it on with their kings guard (who failed to protect them) than show them comfort after a traumatic event.

About Aegon “declaring war”: war, at least in the books, was officially declared the moment Lucerys was killed by Aemond and Vhagar…as a book reader those few lines by Aegon in the show were like❓❓❓ I thought war was inevitable as said last episode but oh well 🤷🏻‍♀️
