Hello! I wanted to note that I don't look at the Stampwheel as a replacement for other stamping tools. I use them differently and don't see them as the same. I still use my MISTI a lot! I use the Stampwheel for different things. As always, you will see both in my videos :)
I don’t usually comment but I have bought layering stamps and was so afraid to use them, after watching this I do believe I’m ready to give it a go. Thank you 💜💜💐💐
I like this tool better than the MISTI. I would use it for everything. The hinge on the misti tool is a negative, especially if you are using red rubber. Also instead of doing the outline of the flower in black or no ink, use a very light brown. I love it.
Jennifer! I told myself I have a stamping platform, I don’t need the Stamping Wheel…. But then you showed how 1 platform can stamp 4 layers 🤯… I now need one!😂 My husband just came in and said, “Do you need anything?” Meaning a coffee. I just sat in silence and pointed to the TV for this video. 😂 It’s on my shopping list now. ✅😊
Awesome! Beautiful cards. If you use a hole punch to make a little hole to add to the die cut silhouette on the scrap paper, you can use that for your pokey tool so you don’t have to remove the scrap every time. In case you don’t understand, add a small hole making the die cut opening just a smidge larger so the pokey tool has a place to pull up the stamped die cut. With multiples, every few seconds per image adds up eventually!
As usual, you always explain things so well and, to top it off, your demonstrations are always so helpful. I am a decent card maker thanks to you, Jennifer. You are very much appreciated.
I am so thrilled you did this video. I have been on the fence about the stamp for awhile. Watching how you did the layered stamps was awesome! Thank you!!! Thanks Altenew for the discount
The biggest challenge for me is doing the lining up of the stamp to get the layers right. Great video, Jennifer. You make everything look so easy! The cards are just beautiful.
Wow! I’ve had the pleasure of seeing you in 3 videos today! Gina’s live replay from last night, Hanging With Hero (w/Simon H) & now this! What a brilliant use of the Stamp Wheel. The cards are fabulous and Lila’s dance teacher is sure to enjoy them. Thank you Jennifer!
Thank you Jennifer. I have been hesitating buying the stamp wheel. With your great video, the discount and my upcoming anniversary I had to buy it. Of course I had to add in a few more things to get free shipping. Girl math. 😁Now to go watch your other stamp wheel videos.
I like to use small tape pieces to mark things as I work, like you did with the light, medium, dark, and very dark tags. Layering florals can be so beautiful, your ideas to streamline the work are really appreciated! 💌
This is one of the best cardmaking videos I’ve seen!!! This will be such a timesaver that now I can’t wait to make some sets of cards with my stamp wheel and layered stamps that I’ve never taken out of the package. Thanks for all you do Jennifer ❤
Thank you for this detailed tutorial ! It is what I have exactly what I have been looking for after having tried to mass produce layered florals with much frustration!
I've only watched halfway through the video, but I already know I'll love your video tutorial and finished projects. So I'm commenting early before finishing it! Love you, Jennifer!😍(Oh, I like the black sticky mat better than the white one, too, but I prefer layering flowers with black outlines. Both of your versions turned out so beautifully!)
Thank you, for sharing all these tips Jennifer. Very much appreciated. These cards are so so Beautiful. I do love the flowers, without the black stamping, more than with. And oh man, those press plates... They are Fabulous. And I just put them on my wishlist 😉 Thank you for all you do. 😘
Thank you Jennifer. This is awesome I have the stamping wheel and old layer flower stamp set that I have not used for it was a headache to do them. But now I can take them out and play with them. Love you
I love, love, LOVE my Stampwheel!! ❤ I love it for stenciling, and it is perfect for multi-layer stamps. Mine is currently set-up with a 5-stamp layering flower that I'm using to swatch ink combinations for layering stamps. I almost need another top just to keep the swatching setup in place, so it's always ready to go.
I vaguely remember seeing this technique before, but had forgotten about it - so thanks for the refresher. Please keep the Stampwheel techniques coming! Although I mostly use my MISTI, the Stampwheel offers a valuable alternative for certain techniques.
I was wondering, if you were doing more than four, could you do four at a time? You would have one in each corner, do the appropriate ink color on each stamp, stamp, then rotate and repeat. After four inkings and stampings you would have four finished flowers.
you can but i find that in the time it takes to ink the fours stamps in four different colors, that inked impressions wouldn't be as great. i found this works better for me.
I absolutely love my Misti’s. But I see the many different ways this Stampin Wheel could be used. So I decided to go ahead and make the investment and thanks for the discount 😊
You are the best teacher! I have thought so I need this stamp wheel and it’s a yes after watching you! Can it be used for the Concord and 9th sets? Love the cards and the press plates! Really appreciate collaboration of companies.
I still struggle with lining up the layers. I do use this method for mass producing layered stamps but some of the layers are tough, and I have tried your many tips and tricks! My vision is clearly aging!
Maybe using the clear acrylic sheet to test drive placement would help you get it just right.. I think she shows this in the video.. it may have been a different video, I watched several yesterday. Anyway, use an older stamp sheet that stamps come on and put it on top of your last layer, and stamp next layer to see if it’s aligned before you commit. It’s transparent so you can tell immediately
I have the we r memory keepers precision press advanced and some extra press plates (these use for press stamps, not for the metal press plates. ) I use it similarly to how she’s using the stamp wheel, where I stamp layers and label the colors so I keep track. So this older system can work too, if you have it
Thanks for the great idea about using the template cause I often ruined the finished flowers when doing the die cutting, but now this problem has vanished
Jennifer, I'm only 11 minutes in so far, and how do you get all these good ideas?!? To put all the layering stamps on the Stampwheel so you can do batch stamping is genius! I did buy a Stampwheel some time ago when it was on sale, and hadn't used it for quite a while. When I did start using it, I'd say I greatly prefer it to the MISTI. I just get better impressions with it. So these tips today are beyond great! QUESTION-Is it OK to put the grip mat on the sticky mat and let the sticky part of the sticky mat touch the grip mat? I didn't know if that would damage one or the other or both. Thanks in advance if you see this question!
I have a stamparatus, which allowed for 2 step stamping with the 2 plates; but I'm so glad I have a stampwheel to do this. Now I'm mentally inventorying my stamps to see if I have one with this many layers. Altenew was sold out😢
Hi Jennifer! Thank you for the great video! I have two questions. 1. For a set of cards like this that you intend to give as a gift, are you aware of a die that would make a box for them to put in? That would be a very nice finishing touch to make a great gift. 2. What is the difference between the inks that you just used and the regular ones that Altenew has? Is there a video that explains that, and if so could you please link to it? Thank you again for your wonderful videos!
I am not aware of a die but here are some boxes to purchase. And I often use bags: www.jennifermcguireink.com/2021/11/handmade-notecard-sets-for-gifts.html
Hi Jennifer, another awesome video, love following your channel. Quick question ❓ on the pink colour, the second family. Did you stamp each colour twice because you did the light colour twice? Or was there another reason etc? X
This video is just in time for me to make 50 Christmas cards. I never would have thought to cut out my sentiment first, then stamp it with a template. I made the die template yesterday, but like you said, its easier to line up a stamp than to position the die, tape it and cut it. Now, if we can just get the Stampwheel to glue all the little pieces of my sled together for me! I do love this tool though. I am still thinking about getting a Misti because every now and then I need to stamp my card base with it hanging out, which I can't do with the Stampwheel - or is there a trick for that?
Hi Jennifer! I am new to you channel and saw that you had a topper on your glue bottle. I have seen then for knitting. Does it keep your glue from drying out? if the bottle fell over would it leak out?
It seems that the biggest difference between the Misti and the Stampwheel is with the Misti you move the paper to stamp each color in each corner VS moving the top of the Stampwheel. I have a Misti and I can't afford to buy another stamping tool to do the same thing.
This can replace the MISTI! (Editing to add that I just saw your comment that you still use your MISTI!) Could you do 4 flowers - one in each corner - at the same time and just keep inking and rotating until they’ve each been stamped with every color? The discount code expired pretty quickly.
i thought so at first, too. but after looking into it and using, i use them for different things. you will always see me use my misti as i always have. and use the stampwheel for things like this! :)
That's great! I showed this so crafters knew how to get more use out of it but it's certainly not something everyone needs. Glad you enjoy the Misti. I do too!
The Stamp Wheel seems cumbersome. Wish someone would invent something lile the MISTI that has a rotatable stamp positioner....I mean a full-page positioner....not a rinky dink small one.

My favourite part was the upside down card. Great to know I'm not alone when I do that! Thanks for all the tips and tricks.
I love the stamp without the outline. Pretty. You’re always coming up with ways for us to get the most out of our tools!
As usual, you always explain things so well and, to top it off, your demonstrations are always so helpful. I am a decent card maker thanks to you, Jennifer. You are very much appreciated.

you won't regret it, it's a fantastic tool

Love the wood and marbled backgrounds the best!
Wow. So helpful. Was on the fence about the stampwheel. Not anymore. Thank you
So happy to see your video tutorial. I miss them when you’re doing lives. Beautiful gift set!
You are the best teacher. This was amazing, as usual. The cards are stunning! Thank you for all you do.
Gorgeous cards, Jennifer. Thanks for demonstrating everything so well.
You finally made sense of the stamp wheel. Each method has its benefits!. For chain layering this seems to work really well.
This is one of the best cardmaking videos I’ve seen!!! This will be such a timesaver that now I can’t wait to make some sets of cards with my stamp wheel and layered stamps that I’ve never taken out of the package. Thanks for all you do Jennifer ❤
Very helpful video! Thanks for all you do for the stamping community.
Thank you for this detailed tutorial ! It is what I have exactly what I have been looking for after having tried to mass produce layered florals with much frustration!
Brilliant - I recently purchased the stamp wheel and this reinforces that it was a great purhcase. Love the cards.
Always love your how to videos. Your cards are always stunning and inspirational.
Your videos are amazing to teach everyone so much . All your cards are amazing. Thank you.
I love the Stamp Wheel for so many reasons. Mass stamping is #1. Jaycee has a great video with a Stamp Wheel where he stamps a flower with 8 layers!
Very clever! The layers are beautiful!
Very informative. I didn’t really “get” the Stamp Wheel before this demonstration. Now I can definitely see the benefits of this tool.
I get so much pleasure and helpful ideas from your videos. The stamp wheel looks like a big game changer. Wonderful video.
Thank you, for sharing all these tips Jennifer. Very much appreciated.
These cards are so so Beautiful.
I do love the flowers, without the black stamping, more than with.
And oh man, those press plates... They are Fabulous. And I just put them on my wishlist 😉
Thank you for all you do. 😘
Thank you for helping me mass produce cards in a more efficient way! BRILLIANT!
Thank you Jennifer. This is awesome I have the stamping wheel and old layer flower stamp set that I have not used for it was a headache to do them. But now I can take them out and play with them. Love you
So many great tips and tricks. Another awesome video - thank you Jennifer!!

Great idea, Jennifer!
It's amazing to see you show how to maximized the use of that stamp wheel🤩🤩
Very pretty flowers and great tips!
I vaguely remember seeing this technique before, but had forgotten about it - so thanks for the refresher. Please keep the Stampwheel techniques coming! Although I mostly use my MISTI, the Stampwheel offers a valuable alternative for certain techniques.
absolutely! i still use my misti daily for regular stamping. you are right!
The flowers are beautiful.
Great ideas for my favourite stamp company
I also prefer the layered flowers w/out the black outline😊
It was a real big investment but if you love layering stamps it's the non plus ultra. No more struggle, really quick and great results.
I was wondering, if you were doing more than four, could you do four at a time? You would have one in each corner, do the appropriate ink color on each stamp, stamp, then rotate and repeat. After four inkings and stampings you would have four finished flowers.
I thought of that, too. I’m sure it could be done but I wonder if it would be confusing, even if the stamps are labeled with the color darkness.
I was thinking the same thing!
Yes, check out Jennifer’s vid on the 12x12 Scrapbooking MISTI! That’s why I bought the 12x12 MISTI, and to use on scrapbook pages.
you can but i find that in the time it takes to ink the fours stamps in four different colors, that inked impressions wouldn't be as great. i found this works better for me.
Can you maybe point out the video, please?@@ebriggs3498
Great video Jennifer!!!! ❤
Great video. I love all the fabulous tips. The cards are beautiful. Thank you for sharing 😊🤗
I absolutely love my Misti’s. But I see the many different ways this Stampin Wheel could be used. So I decided to go ahead and make the investment and thanks for the discount 😊
Wonderful video! Thanks!
Great video! Such a useful tip. Thanks for the inspiration. ❤
Fab video! Now I know I need a stamp wheel 😂. Many thanks for great explanation and tips ❤
Brilliant - I love these cards.
Brilliant! Thank you so much for all your tips and tricks.❤
Beautiful cards! Thanx for sharing.
A silicone sheet might give you some traction on that glass mat for the betterpress, so you don’t have it skidding on the mat
I have about every single stamp tool out there and the Stampwheel is the only one that satisfies my OCD.
You are the best teacher! I have thought so I need this stamp wheel and it’s a yes after watching you! Can it be used for the Concord and 9th sets? Love the cards and the press plates! Really appreciate collaboration of companies.

Great video! Thank you!
You are a genius! 💞💞
Lovely!
What a great tool
Now I need one!! but I saw this too late for the discount :( Will they be offering it again? Thank you for your great tutorials!
Thank you Jennifer😂🫶
Great video thanks
Hi Jennifer! Thank you for the great video! I have two questions. 1. For a set of cards like this that you intend to give as a gift, are you aware of a die that would make a box for them to put in? I love the idea of the press plate, but I have a Sizzix Big Shot. Would it work in that?
Yes, it will
Could you put a blank in each corner to speed it up even further?
The code doesn’t seem to be working. It’s taking 20%off everything but the stamp wheel. Beautiful cards!
In doing this same process, do you find the wheel easier to manipulate/use rather than Misti? I am watching the replay.
i use them in different ways. i really don't see them as the same, and will always use both.
Hi Jennifer, another awesome video, love following your channel. Quick question ❓ on the pink colour, the second family. Did you stamp each colour twice because you did the light colour twice? Or was there another reason etc? X
Just to get the look I wanted.

Why is the stamp wheel better to use than the Misti? It does the same thing? What sticky mat do you recommend?
i do not thing it is better than the misti! i love my misti and will always use it. i use them differently and recommend them for different things.
Hi Jennifer! I am new to you channel and saw that you had a topper on your glue bottle. I have seen then for knitting. Does it keep your glue from drying out? if the bottle fell over would it leak out?
Yes, it does keep it from drying out and it holds pretty securely
Really sad. By time I found out (yesterday)about the deal for a stampwheel they had already sold out😢😢😢😢😢😢
It seems that the biggest difference between the Misti and the Stampwheel is with the Misti you move the paper to stamp each color in each corner VS moving the top of the Stampwheel.
I have a Misti and I can't afford to buy another stamping tool to do the same thing.
I have done my cards upside down or backwards, I just hope I never do them inside out! Lol!😂
The flowers are so bright!
?could you set up 4 , one in each corner, still useing the color codeing, but all at once?
I feel rather stupid for asking this: but which side of the sticky mats face up? The smooth or the bumpy side?
smooth
❤
This can replace the MISTI! (Editing to add that I just saw your comment that you still use your MISTI!)
Could you do 4 flowers - one in each corner - at the same time and just keep inking and rotating until they’ve each been stamped with every color?
The discount code expired pretty quickly.
? could you set up 4 templates, one in each corner, and still use the color codeing , maybe faster? joanne
So, technically, you could be stamping four things at once: each stamp with its specific color, and then just keep turning the wheel.
same concept as misti :0)
i thought so at first, too. but after looking into it and using, i use them for different things. you will always see me use my misti as i always have. and use the stampwheel for things like this! :)
Hey, nice video but no thank you, I just spent $70 on a misty and I’m sticking with her! 👍😁
….maybe I should learn how to spell right 🤦♀️
That's great! I showed this so crafters knew how to get more use out of it but it's certainly not something everyone needs. Glad you enjoy the Misti. I do too!
@@jennifermcguireink Some day when I get bored with using the Misti, I might try a different type of stamping tool. Maybe. 🙂
