I've been wearing nothing but skirts or dresses for about 20 years ... no regrets! I keep it really simple, though. I have 4 skirts of the same cut / style that I rotate through as needed. I have a difficult time finding dresses I like, so I quit trying. I don't dress "pretty" or "feminine" ... just a long jean skirt and a comfortable, plain top. I do wear a headcoverimg, though, and fir some reason I like colorful coverings 😊 You can see an example in my recent Costco and Butcher Box haul video, if interested. My daughter and daughters-in-law all dress with prettier dresses and skirts - one daughter-in-law in particular usually wears dresses that are so beautiful and feminine. I just never was the feminine type, but I assume that's an autistic thing? I tried, but always ended up really uncomfortable and wasting money. ❤ Anyway - new here, and good at rambling or sharing TMI. I'll subscribe. Have a great day!
It's really not as difficult to wear dresses and skirts as I thought. I mean it was still practical. It sounds like you have a minimalist wardrobe that simplifies things! Welcome to the channel. I'll check out your channel too.
I had a few thoughts to add (I wasn't able to post everything in my first comment because I was busy 😊 ) My skirts are floor-length (the 4 that I mentioned in the first comment), and I'm able to wear them every day, regardless of what I have going on that day. Farm chores, gardening, chiropractor, etc. For farm chores, if it's especially mucky in the barn yard I'll just "gird up my loins" by pulling the back, bottom part of the skirt through my legs and tucking it all up into my waist line. The skirt is plenty wide enough and long enough for this. But I also have a few Macabi skirts for the dirtier chores that might ruin my everyday skirts quickly. The Macabi skirts have huge pockets and built-in snaps to "gird up" into baggy pants. Great for dirty farm and garden jobs. The material is 100% nylon, so it's easy to quick rinse off with the hose and dries super fast. They have 3 lengths, and the "short" is what I prefer - it falls just below mid-calf on me. I have 1 "regular" that sits at my ankle, so the "long" would be for longer-legged women.

Those Maccabi skirts sound really practical. I've never heard of them.
@VintageVirtueswithJen they are a bit expensive, so I waited for a sale. Also, I found 1 on ebay.
