I work with a wealthy woman who owns a line of *suluxy* “luxury” handbags. Somewhere is real, somewhere is a replica, you honestly can't tell the difference. This is a woman who has enough money to buy anything she wants. I did see her buy a Mercedes and a Jaguar with cash because she didn't like the interest. She taught me how to mix and match, especially trendy bags, without spending $5,000 on something that will be out of style next year 🤷🏽♀
Sezane used to be so good. Very high quality. They also only had so many styles for sale, now you can scroll forever which feels fast fashion to me. Unfortunately they got popular and things have changed :( I still buy from them occasionally but pay attention to what the piece is made of that Im spending money on.
I went to Gucci today and the salesperson told me that they often can't tell the difference between an authentic and a *regbags* bag. Surprised to hear that from the SA.

@@LorBeer-eq5yfwhy “ oh please? “ Sezane is charging a hefty sum for synthetic blend sweaters. Banana Republic ( which is not a luxury brand) is selling pure merino and pure cashmere for similar prices. Same with Quince.
Some of the clothing in the alternatives you mentioned is also made of synthetic fibers, and the cuts are (in my opinion) rather unfashionable and very simple. Sézane also has sweaters, cardigans and coats made of 100% (merino) wool at a good price. Everyone can decide for themselves what they want to spend their money on. It's funny to condemn Sézane for using synthetic fibers. Demand will regulate it. I wouldn't buy anything made of polyester or acrylic because it offers no advantages. Love Sézane and have many of their knits. Sizing can be fussy. I find most of their knits are oversized (except for the pieces that are clearly meant to be fitted) and look much better when you size down. I don’t mind the compositions w polyamide. 100% wool or cashmere, in a similar heavier knit weight at most retailers jumps into $3-400 price range. What I like about Sézane knits is the wide range of beautiful colors and timelessness of the styles. You just don’t see that range of colors at Reformation, COS, Aritzia, etc. I’ve had my Sézane knits for years and they have all held up really well.
Could you do a video that reviews these purchases after they've been worn and washed a few times? Would be interesting to know how they hold up especially as they're a little bit of an investment ❤
And also an update in 5 years! I always wonder if the “investment pieces” actually last, and if the buyer still loves them after even a few years I know my tastes change, so I exclusively thrift (except for underwear). Some pieces have lasted more than 5 years, and some pieces I got sick of after only a year or two
This might be weird, but I actually thought the audio was cute and somehow engaging/retro! I'm glad you still posted this! I'm such a sucker for sweaters....loved the pistachio and first blue one on you 😍
Hi Jamie, great video! 👏 I’d just like to let you know that Gaspard cardigan can be worn in both ways - front & backwards. Sézane put the tag off the center so that it will not be uncomfortable when worn backwards☺️ Amiel looked beautiful on you💙
The green sweater was meant for you!! That color always looks incredible on you. I'd put the charcoal sweater over the cardigan, but other than that, we had the same top 4 faves 😂 seriously, so happy i rediscovered your channel 💓
Thank you for this honest video! I’ve always thought that Sezane was completely overhyped and the desire we feel for them was 100% manufactured by the sheer volume of influencers partnered with them over the last year or so. I can now see that I should save my money.
Thank you for doing all that work for all of us and explaining all the pros and cons of each sweater making a potential purchase much easier. I agree with all the ones you kept and all the ones you gave back.
So so grateful for this overview. I've been so curious about their products and, as you mentioned, scrolled through their website many times. This helps dispel the mystique and puts them in the category of other good brands with which you need to be selective. Would LOVE to see you do another with their blouses/tops as Spring approaches. Thank you!
There are so many great quality cotton and merino wool pieces, like the leotine, Betty. They’re all so soft and warm and versatile. All the sweaters you got has either mohair or alpaca which is known to feel scratchy.
I’m 49. That pink sweater and the pleated jeans is giving me 8th grade, Pretty in Pink, late 80s early 90s… this is the clothing version of those nostalgic IG accounts that show you living rooms from Sheboygan in Christmas of 1989.
Hi Jamie! First time commenting one of your videos :) I'm halfway through the review, but I can't justify that price tag for what I'm seeing! I highly recommend Comptoir des Cotonniers (I don't know if this brand ships to or exists in Canada), they sell each winter season 100% pure cashmere blend sweaters for less than half the price of Sezane if you get them on sale. I bought last year a cashmere sweater for about 90€ in blue which I absolutely LOVE and it's in perfect condition today after a couple washes. I'm considering buying another one because they are lovely, and they don't itch (something I hate). I just think Sezane is not worth the price...Love your videos 😘
Sure! I wash it by hand (not in the washmachine) with cold water and a neutral (very soft) bar soap, being just a little more persistant in places like the armpits or if there's a dirt spot. Then, I try to wring out the garment without twisting it, because this will make it lose its original shape and size. Be sure that almost every drop of water is gone. Lastly, I leave it horizontal on a flat surface (not hanging, because again, it will make the garment lose its shape) drying out preferably outside or somewhere it can dry naturally. From time to time you might have to remove the fluff & little balls from the garment, just like in every other wool sweater. Also, where I live (Madrid) Uniqlo has a Comptoir des Cotonniers corner where every winter sales season they have these wonderful sweaters. Uniqlo has also great wool pieces at an affordable price, like 40€ or so.
Hi Jamie, I'm new to your channel but I'm glad to see someone from Canada finally reviewing Sezane. I've been shopping from them for almost a decade but far less in recent yrs as the quality has significantly decreased while the prices have skyrocketed. Like you, I love the Emile but I also sized down (2 sizes!). I promise, you'll still get that oversized look if you go for a small. The blue Basile was GORGEOUS on you, but agreed, the sz small would be more flattering if you decide to re-order it. Finally, I hope you don't mind me saying so, but you're definitely a summer colour palette ;)
Since you're such a seasoned Canadian Sézane shopper, would you mind sharing your experience with customs & duties when it comes to Sézane? Did you ever have to pay them, is it hit & miss?
2:55 I just don't understand how a sweater could cost this much and still have plastic in it when there are lots of all alpaca or all wool sweaters available for like half the price
I think your color might be some type of winter and therefore a cool tone and colors with high value. I noticed that when you wore clothes in your color palette (greys, blues, cool toned reds) you end up liking the outfit. But when you tried items not in your color palette like the warm-toned red, the lighter pink, and the warm beige/brown, you ended up liking them less. Just a thought.
Dear Jamie, thank you! This was very helpful. I haven't tried their knitwear, though I have my eyes on the Sami Jumper which comes in a blend of merino wool and cotton. The Stacy Jumper is also calling me, but the composition makes me feel hesitant. I own only a couple of their pieces. The two I love the most is the Chlo silk shirt in Bottle Green and the Farrow Bag in Natural Heritage. P.S. The sound was fine. You're so sweet to worry, but honestly there was nothing to worry about. :)
Great video!! Now I don't feel alone for not liking the Gaspard cardigan ;). I'm also so picky with Sézane's knits. I only buy and keep the cotton or merino wool knits to avoid any itchiness. I wait until spring to buy knits usually. I always go for natural fibres for all of the other pieces (silk, cotton, leather, etc). The grey sweater looks amazing on you!!
I have one of their tees and a blazer (can't remember the name, it's navy with gold buttons) and I absolutely love them. I got to shop in-person at their pop-up shop while in Santa Monica for work so I could experience what the quality was like firsthand. I have to say that everything they stocked in the shop felt very good, and the fabric of the tee I got feels very high quality and soft. It's washed well too. That's been my only experience so far, but everything I bought has been excellent.
That blue is stunning! It’s such a beautiful color on you. I liked the charcoal and the green too! I feel like the wool would drive me crazy. I’m so sensitive to any scratchiness.
Thank you for this video! I was obsessed with Sezane but seeing this helped a lot 😬 maybe if I ever get an opportunity to shop in person and try on stuff
Always love a Sezane video as I'm newly obsessed as well! I went to the store recently in Paris and the prices were so much cheaper, so it's hard to spend more ordering online from the USA. I bought a Betty Cardigan ($120 Euro, vs $170 on USA website) at the store in a size small and wish I got a medium because after hand washing it shrank a bit. I was able to stretch it back out mostly, and i think I hand washed it too warm. But, just be aware that if a sweater fits "just right" it might not after washing. Also, i'm super sensitive to itch and the merino wool does not bother me. I also got a scarf in the virgin wool, it's so soft and i'm obsessed. I would like to order more wool sweaters, but avoid the mohair because they just aren't comfortable on my skin.
So personally love the Gaspard when it’s in the right colour. I always wear something underneath (usually a Uniqlo base wide neck that you can’t see). What’s great is you can wear it backwards as a top rather than a cardigan which gives you options. Looks amazing with skirts for smarter and with jeans for casual. I’ve had one for years and have just got another in a beautiful teal and I’m already wearing it incessantly.
Do not mean to sound snobbish but I will never buy knitwear if it is almost 40% polyamide even at bargain prices. At that price you can get a luxury high-quality 100% cashmere sweater specially during Black Friday and end of season sales after Christmas. Having said that, the sweaters you are keeping look great on you.
I don't think it's snobbish at all... Plastic content in garments always retain odor, and the bit about structural integrity always seems like a bad excuse by the brands for not using better quality yarn with longer fibers. I am with you, no tolerance policy on synthetic fibers ;)
You don't sound snobbish at all. I have eczema and the only sweaters I can wear are those made of cotton, linen, silk, or alpaca. I would pay more for the same cardigan if it was was 100% alpaca or an alpaca/cotton or alpaca/silk blend. The nylon makes this cardigan an immediate no for me, especially since people without eczema complain that it's slightly itchy, which means it would be unbeareably itchy on me.
I HATE when a piece is itchy! I have pretty sensitive skin, used to have dermographism, and one of my rules is it has to be zero itchy (and I know I’m more sensitive than average because even if it has 1-2% wool it bothers me). Merino feels terrible generally, and sometimes cashmere is actually soft! But I have found a few 100% cashmere sweaters at the thrift that were way too itchy
Target has an incredible dupe for that first sweater - I’ve purchased it in 3 colors. The feel is SO GOOD! Incredibly soft and cozy. And only $28. Same cut, same style with the raglan sleeve. Highly recommend! I have 3 sezan sweaters and one I don’t even wear because it’s so itchy!
I totally agree! I purchase a cardigan, wasn’t a fan. Found this beautiful blouse, and I’m in love. They’re a few more I want, still pricey but they seem worth it.
Ahh I looove the Gaspard cardigan. I have one in so many colours haha and it’s my absolute favourite all year round top for all occasions - can wear it back to front, tucked in out, open or closed. I think it looked great on you too, but ofc it’s so individual!
Some non scratchy Sezane knits if you can't tolerate mohair (I have a hard time with some of them too) 😆 James Jumper (merino wool) Betty Cardigan (merino wool) Bree Jumper (cotton) Leontine (cotton) Lyna (merino wool) Eleanor (merino wool) Sami (merino + cotton) Camilla (merino wool + cotton) Felix (cotton) Brielle (merino wool) Maha (merino + cotton) - one of the most beautiful fitted knits
I have been a Sezane lover for 11 years, but I'm not loving it as much anymore. I have the same sweaters from 2020 - 2022 - 2024....and I can tell you, the difference in quality is insane. The Emile in particular is very bad this year compared to the older ones I have, it sheds a lot and my old ones do not, doesn't keep the shape as well....etc. I bought a skirt this year that I thought was silk and it was 120€ polyester??? that is insane to me. I still check it once in a while and I might buy a sweater here and there, but it's not my ride or die anymore.
@@-Lotta- that's the thing -- it would be likely be triple the price if it is hand-knitted and very cost prohibited for someone wanting a good quality alpaca knit.
Such a great and helpful video, I had seriously considered buying a cardigan from them but now I probably never will. It’s giving “I can get this at H&M for way cheaper” to me.
You didn’t try a single piece of their merino wool knitwear?? It is their best knitwear! It is soft but not itchy at all and merino is not as delicate as mohair or alpaca. The merino/cotton blend knit is also great for Autumn/Spring or if you live somewhere that doesn’t get really cold. Betty, Jacob, Lyna, Louis, Maha, Sami, Paulo, Adel, Camilla, Arielle, Valerio, Agathe, Auguste, Eleanor, Charly, Hayley are all either Merino or Merino cotton blend sweaters or cardigans. Leontine, Gary, Daisy, Ruben, Capucine are all 100% cotton for anyone interested. ❤
I have one Sézane sweater that my husband bought for me and it is gorgeous! But my favorite sweaters right now are my Nordstrom and Quince cashmere sweaters. Give me all the cashmere turtlenecks, great fitting jeans, and heeled boots and I feel amazing. Great video!
Great video! I love Sezane and came across the brand on my trip to Paris last year. The prices are so much better in EU as opposed to our canadian pricing. I know what you say about the Gaspard feeling a little on the flimsy side, but honestly, it is the piece I reach for the most for work. It is cute and easy to style, and the red colour looked great on you. I love your pics. My favourite sweater is the Amiel in that beautiful blue. I had seen it at the Boston store in green last winter and didn't buy it and it's my biggest regret. Thanks for sharing.
I have never heard of sezanne until a month ago when I discovered them bc of that green sweater (which has been taunting me since.) You rly have me strongly considering it now 😅 seriously thankful you posted this video bc I was so curious about the brand too
Thank you for the honest review of one of my favorite brands! I have shopped with Sezane for the last 6-7 years and what I am most impressed with are the 100% merino wool pieces. Just so soft, zero itch, and some have gorgeous knit detail. Also their merino/cotton and 100% cotton pieces and silks (with no added synthetic fibers). I think this is where they really shine, and the investment becomes worthwhile at least for me.
Omg why is it SO much more expensive in Canada! I live in Europe and while yes it's in Euros, even with the exchange rate it's so much cheaper. The Emile cardigan should have been 186 CAD according to the conversion. Is it because they're adding duties and taxes?
@@yuxix3700 The Betty is always there and there's multiple different ones to compare >.< I only have the Louis cardigan (black , burgundy) and i find them lovely. I'm already hoping that the winter Archives brings back the navy or rosewood lol
Great review! If you ever decide to do this again, it would be interesting if you tried their 100% cotton cardigans, and 100% merino wool, or a blend, such as Leontine, Sami, and Betty.
I love this video and totally agree on your points! I just made my first order at Sezane and felt the same way. One thing I must know is where your pleated jeans are from though bc they're INCRED!
You poor Canadians are getting robbed ! The Emile cardigan is 125euros here (I live in Paris) which is about 185 candian dollars. The Sama sweater is 120 euros, the Amiel is 125euros. I hate it when brands do that...
I actually loved the pink sweater on you, but i get it that you can't really reach up or you'll have to adjust but i would suffer for the fashion 😂. I also prefer a v neck or lower neck style. Thanks for the review, been looking at sezane forever but haven't purchased yet!
I'm only halfway through the video but I agree, I bought the Gaspard cardigan after thinking about it for sooo long and being so disappointed by how itchy it was! I ended up selling mine and saw that there were so many for sale on Vinted too. I just recently visited their Paris store and tried on some gorgeous trousers, but still, really itchy and they didn't have any lining, which feels wrong when the price is so high... so thank you for your review!
Gaspard is a bit itchy but it becomes softer after one wash. Also, the label is off center because you can wear it both ways. I prefer having buttons on the back. I have the identical one in the same color that I bought a year ago but I have no idea why you are saying that they are true to size, they are NOT! They run one size large. I am always size Small but my Gaspard is size XS and is still little too baggy. Size small is ginormous.
your hair looks amazing! Have you tried Everlane? Specifically the Amiel sweater - everlane has an alpaca sweater that i wear CONSTANTLY that has a similar feel. and for less $$
I have 3 of the Amiel Jumpers and they are so incredibly warm and versatile. They are costly, but I justify the price bc I wear them just about every day and they really do an amazing job with insulating heat which is a must during Chicago winters. I have one of their turtlenecks and find that one to be a bit too itchy and don’t wear it.
I'm glad you found your fall sweater; would have been interesting to look at items that had different compositions? A lot of the sweaters you bought had the same look/feel. I wonder if you varied the material, or even tried some of their dresses/tops/bottoms if you would have felt any differently!
Great video! I tried Sezanne’s knitwear and returned it all because the sweaters were SO itchy or just not flattering. I prefer their blouses. Maybe check those out!
The tag is on the side because you can wear with bottons to the front or to the back. You can wear it both ways. Thanks for sharing level of itchyness, that is a big deal to me when shopping 🥰
@@JamiePaige they are having a Black Friday sale right now… a good day to try … their better quality.. reasonable price especially when they’re on sale. ☺️
Love this review so much, I LOVE the look of Sezane knitwear but I’ve always found it to be too itchy on me. I’ve bought a few sweaters from them and have since sold them, with the exception of one that I loved too much to give up haha. I just always wear a long sleeve underneath. Next brand you should review is Quince!
Thank you for doing this! I covet Sezane on a weekly basis, but this video proved to me that I do not need any of this 😂 also RIP to all of our hopes and dreams for off the shoulder sweaters/shirts. They are so pretty...in theory only.
Would love to see your review of their blouses and trousers. I want so much to be in love with this brand… When I ordered from them, the chambray blouse that I really loved was missing a button when it arrived. That was disappointing and undermined my confidence in their quality.
Thank you for this great overview! ☺️ If you are looking for absolutely high quality knitwear with 0% scratchiness, you should get your hands on the German brand CLOSED. Their cashmere and merino wool knitwear is worth every cent.
I feel like Sezane's strengths (IMO) are their dresses and blouses. The knitwear (IME) is very boxy and itchy, largely due to the mohair. I haven't found a flattering sweater from them, which makes me sad because they look so divine online. I have a ton of their dresses and blouses though, and they fit just... *chefs kiss*
By the way you're definitely an autumn, You're warm tone so you could only be spring or autumn and Autumn is more rich colors in spring is bright. I agree with you about the pink downsized would be perfect. I don't think I could wear any of them cuz my skin is so sensitive and I was allergic to an angora sweater that I tried once my eyes were red the entire time I wore it. I love to the green on you and the blue as well but the pink looked super great but downsizing it was a good idea. For some reason it laid a little bulkier then the gray it seemed a little stiffer.
Thank you for your rewiew. I agree with you. For me, the thing I dislike the most about almost all these sweaters is the width of the sleeve cuffs, they’re too wide and do not wrap around the wrist
I live in Paris and Sezanne is not a brand I go to because there sweaters are composed of too many materials that scratch my skin. I prefer buying one nice cashmere sweater at COS...a bit more edgier design than Sezanne which is boring to me...but the Parisians love it!
Omg I spotted a coat from Sezane and omg I want it so bad! It’s my dream coat but it’s pricier than anything I have ever purchased 😢 maybe let’s manifest for a miracle 😂
The only tip I have for sezane ist going for their 100% cotton knitwear. They can be definitely beautiful. But also check secondhand first. There are thousands of them on secondhand sites and you can save a lot of money. But I agree with a lot of other comments sezane used to be so much better in quality. It used to be much less fast fashioney
Hey Jamie, great video and finally someone giving an honest review on this brand. Very fed up by now hearing all these influencers "loving" the Sezane gifted clothes all the time. Pretty sure if they had to pay for them they wouldn't say the same thing. Personally if I am paying 200+ € for a sweater I would expect it not only to look fab on me but also that it would at least do my laundry every week😅😂 hugs from Spain ❤
Jamie, let this be a lesson that sometimes things aren't "perfect" according to our expectations, but "good enough" really can be good enough! This video was great!! P.S. I loved the blue sweater the most!
The reason the tag is on the side is because you can wear it both ways; back and front. And you are right. Some of the pieces aren’t worth the price tag. Cheers❤️
Great video Jamie! The thing that keeps me away from Sezane, particularly their sweaters, is their composition. If I’m shelling out that much for a sweater, there is no reason that it should have any plastic in it 🤷♀️
Seriously! It’s so weird
I've heard multiple times it's for structural reasons and to cut costs (Silk can be used but that would make the products more expensive)
exactly
Oh please, there are umpteen expensive brands that sell pure acrylic sweaters. What do you expect? A sweater made of pure wool, of good quality would or should cost twice as much.
They say it’s so the sweater has more structure but idk how true that is. I have a few sezane sweaters and love them

Quality didn’t change that much in my opinion but prices increased quite a lot. I’m buying from Sezane since 2018.
They got acquired partially by hedge fund that’s also affiliated with SheIn and that has sealed their fate with the decline.

That first pink cardigan is beautiful on you more than the grey. I feel it ties in with your blush and enhances it. Its so cute!
I would never pay this sort of money for sweaters with 30% polyamide.
Actually polyamide is great for a wool blend, it makes it better, not worse :)

Also, where I live (Madrid) Uniqlo has a Comptoir des Cotonniers corner where every winter sales season they have these wonderful sweaters. Uniqlo has also great wool pieces at an affordable price, like 40€ or so.
Cashmere at Uniqlo is right now 80€ approx., also a great brand if you ask me!
@@Flanejo Thanks so much for sharing! I'm going to Madrid in 2 weeks and will definately check it out!
I’ve been considering getting something from this brand so I was so happy to see you reviewing it! The person in the mirror was a little distracting 😂
VERY, VERY distracting!!
This is such a great review! So honest! I've tried Sezane's knitwear before and it was all wayyyy too itchy. I stick to merino wool and cashmere.
Sezane has merino but Jamie did not try any
2:55 I just don't understand how a sweater could cost this much and still have plastic in it when there are lots of all alpaca or all wool sweaters available for like half the price
I was scrolling through comments to see if anyone had said this already as that’s what I was noticing too.
The 2th outwit with green sweater and brown jeans looks so good on you! 👍
The bag looks like 30$
I have one of their tees and a blazer (can't remember the name, it's navy with gold buttons) and I absolutely love them.
Seeing you in the red cardigan made me really happy about purchasing a similar red cashmere cardigan from Reformation that is absolutely stunning! ❤
Thank you for this video! I was obsessed with Sezane but seeing this helped a lot 😬 maybe if I ever get an opportunity to shop in person and try on stuff
Jamie will always be my comfort creator ❤thanks for another great video!!
None of these are worth their prices, they all seem frumpy to me. The pistachio colour is pretty, but not 200 dollars pretty 😮
You can really pull off every colour but I must say grey is SO pretty on you!
Watching this has me anxious! I JUST ordered a couple sweaters last night, for the first order evver!
Did you enjoy your purchase??
@ Yes!!!
I’ve had one for years and have just got another in a beautiful teal and I’m already wearing it incessantly.
great video, love Sezane's quality on blouses and shirts. They are classic and elegant.
The crop sweater looks so nice and luxury!
But I have found a few 100% cashmere sweaters at the thrift that were way too itchy
nah, that makes total sense. if this is snobbish, then everyone should be a snob
I just want to throw out that I adore their blouses and tops for work. I have a couple of other pieces but their blouses are where I feel they shine.
I totally agree! I purchase a cardigan, wasn’t a fan. Found this beautiful blouse, and I’m in love. They’re a few more I want, still pricey but they seem worth it.
Their lace trimmed shirts and blouses are gorgeous and the best addition to my wardrobe as they instantly dress up a pair of jeans, trousers or skirt.
Ahh I looove the Gaspard cardigan. I have one in so many colours haha and it’s my absolute favourite all year round top for all occasions - can wear it back to front, tucked in out, open or closed. I think it looked great on you too, but ofc it’s so individual!
Great video! I personally love Sezane! Their Paula babies are my fave ❤
Some non scratchy Sezane knits if you can't tolerate mohair (I have a hard time with some of them too) 😆
James Jumper (merino wool)
Betty Cardigan (merino wool)
Bree Jumper (cotton)
Leontine (cotton)
Lyna (merino wool)
Eleanor (merino wool)
Sami (merino + cotton)
Camilla (merino wool + cotton)
Felix (cotton)
Brielle (merino wool)
Maha (merino + cotton) - one of the most beautiful fitted knits
Hi!! Nice to see a Sézane expert here! ❤️
@ ♥️
I love the green one. It’s gorgeous. Thank you 🙏 ❤
I have been a Sezane lover for 11 years, but I'm not loving it as much anymore.
As a knitter, 250 bucks for a plush alpaca cardigan is actually reasonable!!!
But like those aren’t hand made but machine knitted and for the material composition I would say it’s not worth it
@@-Lotta- that's the thing -- it would be likely be triple the price if it is hand-knitted and very cost prohibited for someone wanting a good quality alpaca knit.
Thank you, this is very helpfull!
That green sweater is everything on you!!
Love Quince... I have an embarrassing amount of clothing from their company!
those reps are terrible, I would recommend you *suluxy*
Great video! I love Sezane and came across the brand on my trip to Paris last year. The prices are so much better in EU as opposed to our canadian pricing. I know what you say about the Gaspard feeling a little on the flimsy side, but honestly, it is the piece I reach for the most for work. It is cute and easy to style, and the red colour looked great on you. I love your pics. My favourite sweater is the Amiel in that beautiful blue. I had seen it at the Boston store in green last winter and didn't buy it and it's my biggest regret. Thanks for sharing.
I have never heard of sezanne until a month ago when I discovered them bc of that green sweater (which has been taunting me since.) You rly have me strongly considering it now 😅 seriously thankful you posted this video bc I was so curious about the brand too
love this! It’s not as high of a price point but I think a quince try on would be cool just because they are so heavily marketed
the tag is uncentered on the gespard b/c its reversible. great video as always much love.
Agree. Moreover merinos are alla Made in Italy
Omg why is it SO much more expensive in Canada! I live in Europe and while yes it's in Euros, even with the exchange rate it's so much cheaper. The Emile cardigan should have been 186 CAD according to the conversion. Is it because they're adding duties and taxes?
Fair video. I like that you tried on some jumpers that not a lot of ppl buy. However my minor complaint is i wish you tried on a few merino wool knits
Agreed. Seems she didn’t hit on any good quality ones lol
The pistachio sweater looks SO GOOD on you!!
I love this video and totally agree on your points! I just made my first order at Sezane and felt the same way. One thing I must know is where your pleated jeans are from though bc they're INCRED!
I’m so glad you got that bag because it was in my basket, but I could pretty much find something nicer at target… you definitely saved me!
The gray and pink cardigans were beautiful
You poor Canadians are getting robbed ! The Emile cardigan is 125euros here (I live in Paris) which is about 185 candian dollars. The Sama sweater is 120 euros, the Amiel is 125euros. I hate it when brands do that...
We also have to pay customs on top of that (+ taxes as we don't have VAT), and yes the price difference is huge, and ridiculous
I actually loved the pink sweater on you, but i get it that you can't really reach up or you'll have to adjust but i would suffer for the fashion 😂. I also prefer a v neck or lower neck style. Thanks for the review, been looking at sezane forever but haven't purchased yet!
That is what I'm finding with sezane colouring. Online it looks far me vibrant. Great video thank you!
Love the green sweater on you!
This was great! I bought a Sezane Betty cardigan last year and sold it on this year, it was beautiful merino wool but I felt so dowdy in it.
So glad you did this! Would be curious if you’d do sezane shoes or coats and jackets! I’m in need of new winter coats and would love a haul
I love your pleated jeans !
This is great. I always wondered if this French brand is actually worth the $$$
I needed this video thank you Jamie !!!
If you chose to resell it on Poshmark I find this brand resells very easily!
Great video! My favorite was the pistachio sweater.
I was shocked by the bag! It didn’t look like it was worth 600 at all.
Please tell me where to get the burgundy/wine top you are wearing? It’s so cute!
Yes, please share! I love it too.
I think & Other Stories is way more worth it than Sezane… it’s just my opinion ❤😊
yes!
I haven’t tried anything from other stories! Very curious!
@@JamiePaige they are having a Black Friday sale right now… a good day to try … their better quality.. reasonable price especially when they’re on sale. ☺️
Okay I actually love the off the shoulder look on you though
Love this review so much, I LOVE the look of Sezane knitwear but I’ve always found it to be too itchy on me. I’ve bought a few sweaters from them and have since sold them, with the exception of one that I loved too much to give up haha. I just always wear a long sleeve underneath.
Next brand you should review is Quince!
I’d be curious for you to try Lily’s silk: it seems like a heavily influencer brand and we need an impartial in-depth review I feel
I bought a similar off-the-shoulder sweater from Reformation and literally laughed out loud when I put it on! Cute in pics but crazy in real life.
For me, the thing I dislike the most about almost all these sweaters is the width of the sleeve cuffs, they’re too wide and do not wrap around the wrist
the sweater you're wearing in the video is the nicest loll can you share where you got it from? happy new year!
I live in Paris and Sezanne is not a brand I go to because there sweaters are composed of too many materials that scratch my skin. I prefer buying one nice cashmere sweater at COS...a bit more edgier design than Sezanne which is boring to me...but the Parisians love it!
Thanks for the plug!
I recently tried on an off the shoulder sweater at H&M because I keep seeing them and they’re so cute but WHAT you literally can’t move in them😂
Hey Jamie, great video and finally someone giving an honest review on this brand.
Cheers❤️
