How to tie the WLR Hitch
Here I show how to tie the WLR hitch using an eye to eye hitch cord.
You can tie with a length of cord; however, with smaller cords it is best to use an eye to eye as those types of splices are generally stronger than a knot.
Like many friction hitches it may or may not work with the ropes you are using so it is important to do thorough testing at ground level before trying to incorperate this into your climbing system. WLR is not resposible for accidents, injuries, or misuse.

Thanks for the update. It is easier to see in this video. I’ve been testing out your hitch on tethers, lineman’s belts, and also rope climbing. I’ve been impressed so far but am continuing to test it out. What state are you from? Do you do all the splices you sell?

Can I use my one stick and rappel with your tether system?

You would not use a hitch to rappel on but I always use a Munters Hitch to rappel with the WLR as a backup above the munters.
