- I decided to remake one of the most iconic scenes in RDR. I tried to follow the same path as one of the more popular ride into Mexico videos. I did it in rdr2. I wish rockstar games would at least remaster or remake the first red dead game on PC. Or at the very least add Mexico to Red Dead Online (rdro).

If not a rdr1 remake, Just add mexico to red dead online, I mean cmon, mexico is there all we need is towns and a few missions for roles. Thats it.
It is crazy that the Mexico map is just out there ... minus any buildings, even though you obviously meant to not go over there

@@Sytakz Tbh kids just killing you for no reason in online isn't as common as it seems. Usually the assholes stay in the lower half of West Elizabeth and eastern New Austin.
would be so awesome. México in red dead 1 its so savage. Banditos, the revolution, amazing locations, escalera, chuparosa. It would revive the red dead online.

Apparently they’re remaking gta San Andreas using the gta 5 engine so it would make sense they would remake the original red dead in the rdr2 engine

This, people, is exactly why it would make no sense to have Mexico accessible in RDR2.
It is also exactly the reason why a remake of RDR1 is needed.

@@dangerous1090 I agree. Massive plothole that we can get there as John. Or, at least, not enough attention to detail (Macfarlane Ranch not built, Armadillo not out of cholera etc.)
@@TMATDPmix between game being rushed out due to time constraints and just giving players another part of the map to explore as “you earned it” by completing the game but I agree there are way too many retcons making it accessible.

I find it so dumb that Rockstar tries so hard so you can't get Arthur to go to New Austin making it almost impossible to make 100% progress with stuff like challenges and the compendium with him, but its the only way it would make sense narratively instead of doing everything with John.
They made so much little details with this game like horse balls shrinking, but they couldn't fill a lot of plot holes they left once they changed their vision of the game
I love that the horse even has a similar coat to the one that you get at the start of Mexico.
Fun fact: For my first two, maybe three playthroughs of this game, I never heard this song, because as soon as the cutscene ended and I was on a horse that wasn't mine, I would immediately get off and whistle for my horse, cancelling the song before it even started.

Great job! The original ride into Mexico is truly one of the most iconic scenes in all of gaming. The music, scenery, everything about it.
Rockstar games are mastercraft when it comes to narrative, world building, and soundtrack. Slowly but surely they're doing better with player choice.
There's no player choice in rdr2 unless you don't care about arthur or the story.
That Rockstar no longer exists.

Just get an Xbox One X and it plays in literal 4K. They said a long time ago the game wouldn’t be able to run on PC due to programming coding issues because of the physics engine. Some people have it on PC but it still stutters

Rdr2 has the superior soundtrack , but Far Away is still the best song.
Songs like Bury me not Alone, Compass and A Deadman's Gun were also legendary
Rdr1 felt more western to me rdr2 was good but didn’t have the same impact as the first game did for me at least. Unshaken is so good though.

When I first played this. Riding on a skinny trail, the sun rising over the hills...one of the best parts of any game.

They should add Mexico to red dead online because it doesn’t make any sense for Arthur or John to go to Mexico until rdr1, or they could do a story dlc where you play as someone different maybe Javier but I doubt they’ll make it
Even though I know this is RDR2, this is how I remember rdr1 being. When I entered mexico, it was sunset like this as well and I was in awe at the ambience with the music

Horses are shit in RDR2, they fall over the tiniest thing and all of them are slow, I remember when you got the American Thoroughbred in rdr1 it could clock half the map in 5 minutes, it deserved the best title of horse in the game, while the white Arabian is still slower than red dead 1’s Kentucky saddler and it gets scared of everything I miss rdr1

@@ChonkedCat horses were on crack in rdr1. At least in rdr2 you can bond with your horse, take care of it and all. At least horses in rdr2 feel alive, in rdr1 they feel pretty much like cars

I'm curious why everyone is asking for a remake of this game? I personally think that the game is perfect and beautiful as it is and doesn't need to be remade.
Now if requests are coming from playstation folks, that's different and I can understand why. But at the same time it would probably be more worth it to invest in an Xbox One/Series X console so nobody loses out on the chance to relive this masterpiece...as well as all the other masterpieces from Rockstar and other game developers that game out during this era of gaming, since Playstation is abysmal now at backwards compatibility and keeping old games alive that aren't even 2 generations old, and are some of the best in modern gaming. And I say this as a multi console owner and that includes both playstation 3 and 4, with a love for both systems as well as my Xbox collection.

I'm Mexican and I think that Mexico is beautiful and delightful, with so much history, delicious gastronomy, amazing people and traditions, etc. But nowadays, the situation is a bit harsh due to politic and social stuff; many conflicts and disagreements between the whole country make the ambient into something uncomfortable.
Still, I'm very proud to be mexican and live in this fantastic country and I love the fact that some people also love it 🇲🇽💖

If rockstar do remaster this game i hope they do it themselves... don't pass it off to some small team without the finance's... just look at the state of the gta definitive games... now imagine that with rd1...i wouldn't buy a rockstar game ever again..
Un popular opinion… RDR1 was better then RDR2
Actually its not unpopular i feel i like both in the sense one does better than the other depending on the subject (story graphics mechanics characters etc.) for context i played rdr1 after i played rdr2 because i was too young to get rdr as a kid in 2010 but tbh rdr1 is actually a very short game feels like an expansion of the rdr2 epilogue in a way but i veied it in its own as a separate game and on its own rdr1s dead eye is more satisfying john is a way better character than in rdr2 where he was just a npc hes more unhinged and in some ways the story is better than rdr2 story in terms of storytelling especially when rdr2s context ties in to rdr1 making scenes more meaningful but i feel the stories have the same formula
1. Build up 2 something goes wrong 3. Goes to another country then comes back 5 last few missions/ betrays by the most obvious “twist villain” 6 major death of main character 7. Epilogue playing of another character
But i feel rdr1 needs a remaster its horese mechanics are too stiff. And the graphis are still great but its time they give its respect.
Rdr2 imo the graphics great but the horses fall to sensitively and the deadeye imo is not as fun to use as it is slower than rdr1’s and btween and the beginning of rdr2 is so slow……and the epilogue is dissappointing and how they pasted johns model on arthurs body and never fixed it by cutting corners to finish the game is bad. To answer whose better between john and arther i would lut it like this
Arthur morgan is a better *developed* character but john as a character is better in terms if badassery and personality all he cares about is his family and will do anything to save them.
Why is this guy riding thru cacti, sage and every type of flora & fauna...(I know its a game...but still)...think of your Appaloosa....ppffffft.
