Hey, Bunnings sells a heat proof ironing mat, for $27.83. It's 90cm x 60cm. I haven't bought it (yet) but it might help with that pattern coming through.
Is 'heat n bond' interfacing? I have so much interfacing at home and its iron-on where it bonds with heat, so is it the same thing? EDIT: okay, nope. This isn't quite that. But I got a very sturdy interfacing that I feel would remove the need for tissue paper, but does that work generally?
Omg so helpful! I also love that you’re a fellow Aussie-it makes finding the materials so much easier. Thanks!
Thank you for this!

That’s so helpful 😊 thank you for much for showing how to do this. I’m also in Australia so it’ll be good to be able to make my own ❤
It makes it so much more accessible when you can make it yourself!
Thx you very muuuuuuuch
Thank you so much for the tutorial! Is it possible to use viscose or polyester fabric for the book cloth? Or only cotton?

Can you also just use the cotton fabric for bookbinding?
