    I swear your the only person I’ve seen so far that actually tells you the chords instead of going
    ThIs iS a 1-69-8 progression and not even mentioning the key or elaborating on the chords at all XD
    big respect
    6-3-4-1 in major is a good progression so in C that would be
    Amin7-Eminor7-fmajor7-Cmajor7

    The voicing makes it difficult to see but it is a 6 5 1, what's throwing people off is probably that the 5th of the first two chords is also being played in the bass rather than the root, then the first C chord also has something like an add 2, add 6. Honestly this was not a good example to use.

    • @josethadon
      @josethadon Год назад +5

      @@ChironAce in a minor scale the 3rd 6th and 7th are flat so in c minor that means that A which is the 6th note is A flat or G#. So the progression is going from the 6th (G#) to the 5th (G natural) and ends with the 1st chord which is C minor. There’s no add 6 in the first C and the add 2 is actually a 9 since it comes after the 7th(just to clarify we’re talking about the same note, add 2 is the correct name when there’s no 7th and 9 is used when there’s the 7th, in both cases it’s still a D in the example of C minor). And yeah the 6 and 5 use voicings where the 5th is on the bass, but the roots are actually G# and G. Hope that helped

      6 5 1 means what number chord in the scale for the key you are in :) so if you search a key and look at the chord progressions, he is using the 6th, 5th and 1st chord in that scale if that makes sense
