    You wanna know what I like best about your videos??? You're REAL. You don't act like you've never struggled, that you've never had to work hard for clients, that you've never had lashes that made you wanna quit. You're genuine!!! That's why I keep coming back to your videos❤️I'm a new lash artist...I absolutely LOVE it!!! I'm in your lash beauties group too and the people there are just amazing.

      Absolutely!!!!! I can’t wait to get started I have purchased most of your recent favorites I’ve had my lashes done for 6-7 years now and I’m so excited to make girls feel that way I felt after my first set all those years ago.... it also makes me feel soooo much respect for what the lash techs do! Anyway keep doing you I hope one day to. Be as confident as you in this industry

    I did my 1st set on my friend it took me 4hrs but I filled almost all of them the next day she texted me saying that everyone at school wanted to know where I was and asking her a lot of questions she even said a lady she didn't know asked her what type of mascara she was using... Anyway that's when I really learned the power of the client they really are walking advertisements and have the power to help your business👍

    Dang two hours? My lash tech does a full set doesn’t matter if it’s hybrid classic or volume in 45 to an hour and they always look amazing. I get my lash training in two weeks. I feel this is going to be an amazing career and can finally be my own boss. Thank you for these videos

    • @DanielleMount
      @DanielleMount  6 лет назад +7

      LEA 001 yes 2 hours! My shorter full sets are no less than 1:45 if they have lots of lashes! If you have less it can take less time. My fills are around 30 minutes to an hour, but not full sets! Be careful because it is hard to tell if things are applied correctly if it is on yourself! 💕 you are going to have so much fun, and being your own boss is amazing! Take your time on your clients, people will appreciate you taking time and not rushing them! 😊

I am also qualified for eyelash lift, but I'm worried about any solution getting in the clients eyes. We did a full day extra on this procedure, but I'm still nervous. • @DanielleMount
      @DanielleMount  6 лет назад +6

      So I get asked this a lot and when I started lashing timing was my biggest frustration! It took me a lot of sets to get quicker! Its one of those things that comes with time and practice & it is good that you are taking longer because it means that you are putting out quality sets! Keep up the good work and I bet you 10 more clients from now you will be seeing yourself improve in speed tremendously!

      GlamWithSiSi it is definitely harder in a salon, and to get in a salon and I know some states require it. You are lucky you don’t need it! I don’t either because I am from Canada but it can be tough for some people :/

      I’m just trying to figure out where I would be doing clients once I do my training. I am also doing microblading as well and I’m just lost with the start up process I want to look professional but starting off won’t be realistic to afford a studio not knowing how many clients I will have.

    • @DanielleMount
      @DanielleMount  6 лет назад +1

      Are you currently doing the microblading, are you working out of your house, or do you need a salon where you live? The start up of the business is the hardest part and I would be lying if I said i didn't want to quit multiple times, but don't give up! I charged a model price! you should be charging because you deserve something for all the time you put in! Im from Canada so I charged $75 for my model pricing, now that I am full price I am charging $150, so model pricing is a really good deal! Make sure to mention what your regular pricing will be when mentioning your modelling prices then people will see how much of a deal they are getting!

      Example: My model price is $75 Reg. $150. People will go crazy over that deal!!

      Keep practicing! When i first started i was the same way i literally wanted to just quit and cry every time i was getting so frustrated. But i kept going and i kept doing free sets to get better and faster and it’s working! Before it would take about 5 hrs before i even had 1/2 one eye done now in 4 hrs i can get just about both eyes done

    you didn't really say have to gain clients in the video. you just said work hard on the clients and have good sets that you already have or your friends. but...that doesn't tell you how to gain clients. misleading title.

      I agree I enjoyed the video but it didn't actually offer any tips on how to pull new clients.
