While it came out in 2014, the PC Port was released in November 2018 and that port holds up great with the enhancement Blind Squirrel Games did to it. Port the PC version to PS5, add 4K, 60fps, ray tracing, I'd play it again. Also they've been stepping up on the PS Plus games every month, it would be a fantastic PS Plus game. Let all the people who missed out on it experience a fun game that led to the tech in the Spider-Man and Rift Apart.
The composer not only worked on Thor: Ragnarok but also more recently The Mitchells vs the Machines. They really want this game to look and sound on the same level as a movie.
Ratchet and clank is a game that you can use to sum up what gaming is about, pure fun with a good story. This reminds me of the fun I had on the ps2 ratchet games
First of all... nice. Second, I know it’s small but I love that they’re doing a bit of customization with color and different pieces for the armor. It would be really cool to see just a bit in the next spiderman just as a shader/suit color palette that can be swapped.

The 81 on metacritic is only 4 points lower than the 85 that both Ratchet and Clank and Miles Morales have. Is he just hating on it because its an Xbox game or what? I think Insomniac fans would love to see that game on Playstation.
A Jak and Daxter easter egg/pocket dimension makes a lot of sense. When the first Ratchet and the first Jak came out on PS2 Naughty Dog and Insomniac collaborated and shared code to get the most out of the PS2 to minimize load times and use gameplay rendering on cutscenes to keep a consistent look. Long story short: Ratchet wouldn't be what it is without Jak.
I believe Microsoft owns the publishing rights to Sunset Overdrive and Insomniac (SIE) owns the IP (as confirmed by Insomniac). Therefore, unless Xbox relinquishes or sells the publishing rights, I don't believe they can make a new game or port the original. This seems like a similar situation to Alan Wake where Microsoft held the publishing rights and therefore Remedy couldn't make it even though they owned the IP. That is until Remedy reaquired the publishing rights and now are able to make the sequel. I honestly don't think it's worth it to go through that trouble for a game that is essentially a mix of what's already offered in Spiderman and Ratchet.

If Sony is clever enough with their PSVR software, there shouldn't be a need to break backwards compatibility. Look at Oculus - The Rift 1 used external tracking sensor, while all their newer headsets use inside-out tracking like PSVR2 will use, and Oculus software runs on all their headsets. It all comes down to the software on the back end.

Sunset Overdrive may actually come to PS+. That's the perfect place for it considering it was exclusive to Xbox (Playstation made no $$ from the IP) and could potentially convert more PS players to PS+.

Does anyone know if it is going to be possible for them to upload the final Resident Evil 7 playthrough they did as part of their long stream? I watched all their episodes when they hit RUclips but they haven't mentioned the last one hitting. Also can't wait for Andy to play through Village!
Days Gone is closer to 25 -30 hours on average, not 40 hours. And, the plot isn't that intense where you'll be lost coming back to the game after a while. The game is great although pretty repetitive. Probably too long for a 'book club' game, but definitely something you can pick up and periodically. Its repetition is too much for long gaming sessions, but its really great if you play the game periodically.
I don't like that the game pauses every time you open the ring menu, it should have something more like bayo that you can swapped with a button in between a set of weapons already preselected, at least in my opinion. Stop the gameplay to swap weapons is not a good idea.
Sadly, due to the shortage of PS5 and Xbox Series X I decided to get an Xbox Series S. I'll get a PS5 later when it's more available and the games I want are there. Third party titles on gamepass for me for now
I'm disabled and can't react to things fast, because my right hand only has 40% strength, due to nerve damage. So hearing that they have the global time thing makes me very happy. Just have to wait until 2022 when PS5's are available....lol

How can it be all I love about ratchet and clank if I'm not playing most of the game as. Ratchet and Clank is no where near rather for most of the game? I am a huge fan of the games, but I hate having to main protagonists to play as. I want to play as one, and follow that one character arc, always. Its the main reason why I can't get more then 6 hours into GTA 5. All 3 are good characters, now give me one of them to play as, that it.

The reviews for Sunset Overdrive were all 8’s, and 9’s. I’d say that “set the world on fire” and I think that IP could absolutely thrive on PS5.

I platinumed Days Gone in 52 hours, while playing on Survivor. It really isn’t that long. Nothing compared to modern AC games which can be 100+.

I did a Mass Effect trilogy run once and it took 120 hrs. And that wasn't with all of the DLC. You can easily get 150 hrs out of it.
