- I've been having some exhaust troubles on my 2006 frontier. So, I found and installed the cheapest cats and catback exhaust available in November of 2022. The installation had its difficulties as expected.

I'm not linking the ebay catalytic converters because of poor quality.

Nice how to video man, Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas!
good video. Well done!
I wondering about the spark non fouler what brand as I need to do a complete system
Subscribed. You and me must've went to the same school of red-neckery. Decent work. Realistic about the pain in the a$$ that it was.
Very nice video on details. I wonder if the alignment issue was from the catalytic converter or from the exhaust system. Thanks.
it was 100% the catalytic converters
Next time I put a cat set on. I'm going to relocate the rear o2 behind the second cat. See if it actually works better. I've used those spacers as well lol.
Where and what kind of spacers I need to buy
look up 02 sensor "adapter" on ebay.
Great video man im needing to swap my passenger car as well. Do you have a link to the 02 spacer or know the correct size for it ??
Did you get some I need to do
Good video. Where did you get the 02 spacers?
I bought these from Amazon a while back. it looks like Amazon doesn't sell then anymore. go to Google and search 02 sensor adapter.
New Sub here.
how long did they last?
How is it doing a yr later?
it is doing great. I ended up adding an extra muffler to help with the drone.
Gained a sub
Go frontiers✌️
Sorry for asking, but did you have to pay any import fees or customs fees for the catalytic converters?
I did not. I ordered them from ebay and they showed up a couple days later.
Good to know, I was looking at buying a set for my 03 Ford Ranger, but when I was on ebay I read there could be extra fees and time delays due to customs since they are being shipped from Canada (Quality/Excel Exhaust) so I was hesitant to buy. I just need them to last me a year or so and I only drive my truck 300-500 miles a month. I also wanted to ask you if you noticed any overheating of the cats or performance issues at freeway speeds? I own a welder so I am okay with flanges being wonky, are they still holding up for you?
they are holding up. no overheating or leaks. one problem I do have with them is my truck set P0420 codes with them not long after installation. so they don't clean up emissions enough to make the ecm happy. I installed some 02 sensor spacers to turn off the light.
Yeah, they are only EPA rated. I will be getting a set of Walker, AP/Eastern or even Magnaflows downs the road but I just need something to throw in my truck since mine were recently stolen. I've got a year before my next smog...by then I will have saved up enough to buy CARB compliant cats
My one cat cost more then all four. Plus no hardware. Sucks to be in California
My mechanic said all my oem 4 cat converters will soon go bad. I have 290k odo Fronty '07 V6. He made her passed Cali Smog 12/23 by cleaning all 4 CC. I got to 2 yrs to saved up $4k (ridiculous expensive) or Im thinking to move out of liberal Cali either NV or AZ.
Great vid ! I subscribed !!
@@shadowtruck5991 I hear this a lot, not sure why so many vq always have cat problems. I think on mine and a buddy's xterra, we burn a lot of oil( burn or passes into the cat) and think this is why it goes bad. Every month I have to top off at least 1qt
