False teaching is supposed to be exposed not defended and perpetuated. That’s why there are so many false teachers today. I have read the old and New Testaments and have been deep in prayer over this issue of women pastors and bishops and such. The truth is it’s unbiblical and out of order. A false teach is not necessarily preaching it because he or she wants to deceive people but some do. You’re still a false teacher - even if you were just taught wrong and never sought out the truth because you think that it’s correct. People put people on a pedestal. It is insanity to say that a woman is called to preach because her name is mentioned before her husband three of the six times that I found in the Scriptures. The Bible clearly said that they were Paul’s helpers. In one verse of scripture Acts 18, they taught Apollo how to preach the Word. The Bible never said anything about Aquila and Priscilla preaching the word of God. Are we now supposed to take every scriptural references where the woman is mentioned before the man as being a preacher? Of course not. The answer is a very simplistic one. When you read the qualifications of a Bishop, Elder, or Deacon, the focus is on the individual being a man. This is known by looking at the pronouns, as they are all masculine. How he draws his conclusion is pretty spectacular.😮

It amazes me to hear teachings like this and but no one is really saying anything lol the issue in question isn't a woman preaching. Any human can expound on the word of God. The issue in question is the place of authority certain positions carry. Can the woman, according to the biblical text, have spiritual authority over the man? The only way to answer that is to study it from a Jewish point of view, and filter it through the lense of spiritual application. We can't answer it from a westernized perspective. That's against the foundational text of scripture.
Man is the head of his house hold! Christ is the head of the church! So we can stop talking about what authority we have! Non!

Women submit to your own husband and not every man is what the word says. So, If your husband supports you in ministry you are not subject to another man's opinion. This issue will never be solved by mere men but it doesn't send people to hell so stop arguing. There are enough churches that if you don't like a woman pastor find a church that doesn't have one!!

In the old Testament law, a women was not allowed to be a priest, or to have authority over the congregation, or wave the sheaf, or handle the bread/shew bread within the alter. And since the new testament came, the old priestly hood, was change to a pastoral hood.

The Word of God proclaims, “A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent” (1 Timothy 2:11-12). In the church, God assigns different roles to men and women. This is a result of the way mankind was created and the way in which sin entered the world (1 Timothy 2:13-14). God, through the apostle Paul, restricts women from serving in roles of teaching and/or having spiritual authority over men. This precludes women from serving as pastors over men, since pastoring definitely includes preaching, teaching publicly, and exercising spiritual authority. Don't be fooled by wolves in sheeps clothing. Follow the word of God and remove yourself from false teachings lest the lead your soul to hell. You think the only requirement for God's correction, and I mean God's correction, is to be a preacher? As if only preachers can be knowledgeable of the truth? The words of God I shared are not my words, they are the truth of and word of God. Your disagreement is not with me. I pray that God will show you mercy and provide you the wisdom to understand his truth. Just because you feel an emotional attachment to your pastor and therefore want to defend him/her doesn't mean that we can bend or modify the word of God. Not saying he's wrong, cause I agree with his conclusion, but his hermeneutics are terrible. On the enmity point, for example, since the enmty is between seed and seed, that means all humans have the enmity. The order of the names is almost definitely important, but it isn't something to stake doctrine on.
