An unusual event occurred and it caused a lot of concern around the world, one of the Imams of the Kaba fell ill while leading Jummah prayer, it was something rare that happened. Allah give shifa to Shaykh Maher.

So Haramain Archive came out with some inside news from someone who was there.
Haramain Archive goes on to say:
"At the end of the Khutbah in the supplication, Sheikh Mahir Al Muaiqly began to feel dizziness and it is clear from the Quran TV footage that he was trying to gain control. However, before the end of the Khutbah script, he called for the Salat and sat down on the minbar chair for several minutes. He can be heard saying "وإقامة الصلاة establish Salat( just before it.
Whilst he was sat on the minbar for a few minutes, he was attended by the Imams present, namely Sheikh Salih in Humaid and Sheikh Abdul Rahman Sudais, and a few officials; Sheikh Mahir Al Muaiqly agreed that he had the strength to lead the Salat. The Iqamah was called after delay.
In Salat he began to experience dizziness and began to pass out. Before he collapsed, he was held by the guards who were on security duty. Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al Sudais stepped forward and a few officials helped Sheikh Mahir Al Muaigly exit without causing interference. The Salat ended normally."

When Imam as was struck with a Poisoned Sword by Ibne Mujlim la; He immediately did Ishara for His Oldest son Imam Hassan as to continue with the Prayers.
Subhanallah; bleeding profusely, still Imam Ali as didn't leave Namaz un done.

Nevertheless it's unclear how prayer can be continued when the Imam who leads falls down and someone from behind can continue. Normally the Salah should be restart. Allah swt isn't strict. Its his servant who are.
There's very easy guidelines, the person behind the Imam should know the masAil of salah, it's easy you step up and continue.
Imam kabah and or any imam same ruling nothing new
