I kid you not! My brother bought 4 of these on clearance for $7.00. Hooked 3 of them in different rooms and one outside and believe it, it's picking up all the Nexgen from Boston some 40 miles away! He doesn't live in a very good area for tv reception and relies on an outdoor antenna but bought the sticks to experiment with. He is happy with his purchase!
I've got one of those and the TV as well and I took some aluminum foil and some aluminum tape and added about two more feet of height to it and picked up a couple extra channels 😎👍

All I watch is sports and news and those come on basic channels. So iam good . And line in a metroplex area. Not need for cable any more
You should connect a paperclip to the back of your television and see if the TVO signal comes in.
