I love the bread box DIY, mainly because I want a cute toy box for my fur baby, Owen. That stuffed raccoon toy that you played tug-o-war with Sarge is literally my boy's FAVORITE TOY EVER! He loves swinging it around and goes crazy for it, but it certainly doesn't look as new as yours does anymore lol
Haha that raccoon has since been sacrificed. But he really enjoyed it for a long time
Please don't take this the wrong way because I love it! The gallon jug is giving me Texas Chainsaw and Hocus Pocus Spellbook vibes with the rug gripper pieces looking like stitches. I am totally taking this idea for Halloween! ❤

A quick way to clean pieces like the shutters, blinds. Large vases, etc. if plastic or glass, is to put water in your tub, enough to cover shutters add your cleaner to water and soak. Rinse with shower head. Put outside to dry or dry off with cloth or old towel. You can do wood pieces also but they will take longer to dry. You can also rinse tub while rinsing object and allow to dry right there in tub.
That would make it a lot easier!

I know you don’t like the first circular mirror but I have an idea. The first mirror is beautiful and the shape looks more organic and vintage. Like it came before the 1900s. Perhaps instead of lining the mirror area and the flowers with the brown paint….leave it be. It looks more natural. Also, paint the frame back to an old metallic color and distress it further. The white looks too farmhouse. Nevertheless I love your attempt and that was a cool idea
I like both of the candlesticks but I personally like the gold and black together💞. The little stool at the beginning is just so sweet❣️❣️

Nice. However, you seem to have an aversion to the original colors of many of the pieces you use. The glass art vase from the thrift store in the high bronze/brown glaze was a beautiful piece. Just a silly thought. Someday it will be unearthed and they'll peel back everything as they try to find the original finish. 😅
Well yes, I have a DIY channel and this whole video was purposely giving thrifted decor a makeover. Not sure there would be a point if they were left as is.
I have the maker 3 and I can’t figure out the pressure to cut at for crafters square brand anything or I would use it to save some money… it would be so nice.

You are not doing anything wrong. I think the shop closed down. I cannot find it anymore either and when I searched the Etsy shop it says they have no merchandise anymore 😭
At 33:29 can you please tell me how you got the image on the fabric? Did you use a Cricut? If you did, did you use one of their markers? I don’t understand how you did it, but I need to recreate it with a bee for my Brother who is a Beekeeper. 🐝 Thank you for clarifying this for me. I’m new at using a Cricut (and I’m 60 😉).

Why, why do you have to paint out the expensive vase. Why not add to it on top of that beautiful color it had.
It wasn’t my style. But that’s what I love to do, take things I don’t like and make them into something I do. That’s the beauty of DIY. But style is so subjective.
