@@darkyboode3239 This is indeed a female ant. Looking at her body, we can tell that she is most certainly a worker because of the size of her thorax. Ants have clear sexual dimorphism, even if for some species it’s just the wings. Males have a larger thorax due to the fact that they must carry their wings. If the guy pulled them off, you would still see where the base of the wings begin on the sides of the thorax above the front set of legs. Male ants’ eyes are usually larger, and you would be able to see the claspers on its gaster. It’s irritating to hear the guy in the video constantly call her a him when it clearly isn’t a male lmao
That's fucked up. Why not put it in something that it can walk around in, not get out of and can still breathe. You want some giant thing to squish you so it can sit there and look at you?
Even if we knew ants could feel pain which they most likely don't feel pain like we do we still couldn't do anything about it because they're too small and fragile to protect.
