THANK YOU! This would explain why I didn't find it listed in my sold out listings on Etsy. I was having the strangest deja vu

I’m hoping I can do your dyeing in my smaller amounts. I know I’ll need smaller amounts of water. And I usually use a steam pan. But, also own a pot for submerging dyeing. As a small dyer I only make two of each skein, and this year I’ll be starting a new yearly batch from scratch because the skeins that were left I’d been trying to sell had been around a couple of years.

Most of my dyeing batches are 1-3 skeins. :D Good luck with your dyeing!

Not often. Occasionally I get some blends that I dye up, but not often enough.

I’m loving this series with the various neps. Do you think the fingering weight yarn would be ok for socks or would you recommend it for shawls which don’t get the wear and tear of socks. Oh, and would the neps make the socks uncomfortable to wear?

I don't wear sock if I can help it so I'm not the best person to ask about tweed socks. Howeve,r the neps are very soft and I don't think they would bright a strange texture to socks.

@ thank you. Ah, youth. I lived in CT and MA in my younger days and wasn’t interested in socks as well. Now that I am older than dirt, I’m focusing on keeping my feet warm. In fact, it was in December, 2018 that I knit my first socks, after learning to knit more than 60 years before. My feet were cold, so I moved from knitting fancy shawls to socks. I live in Southern California!😎
