  • How can you take your research to the next level? In this inspiring talk, Dr. Bruce Bugbee describes how having a prepared mind led him to dig deeper into “funny” or anomalous data that many would disregard, but resulted in some of the biggest discoveries of his career. He originally gave this talk at the 2022 American Society of Agronomy conference in Baltimore, Maryland. Bruce is one of the most prolific crop physiologists in the world, a professor at Utah State University, and founder of Apogee Instruments, Inc. For a sampling of his work visit: scholar.google.com/citations?....

    “Einstein’s budget was a box of chalk”😂😂
Dr. Bugbee is the Shiznizzel! I absolutely love his lessons. Nothing but respect, but he’s also easy to listen to on 1.75 playback speed, then switch him to normal after about 5 minutes and he will sound absolutely stoned out of his mind!🤣

What a wonderful educator, I wish I would of had teacher like him many decades ago, someone who brings a sense of excitement to a seemly mundane subject, I bet there is still so much more to discover. I imagine more consistent controllable lighting of various spectrums has made experiments easier to repeat, that and very accurate measurement instruments, and most importantly, having enough love of the field to ask the right questions. Oh, and funds too, research costs money, that's why it's so very important for us as a country to financially support the sciences, imagine the discoveries that could be made is we gave them half the yearly budget of the US military.

To me, It's meaning is: being able to learn from mistakes that aren't necessarily mistakes..just that you may be mistaken.
A great example of this is William Herschel..

I agree with the final image, being one of great theoretical engagements. It’s kinda like the story of Christian Von Koenigsegg, his love of autos came from watching a claymation video about an old man teaching his grandson how to compete with the bigger, more robustly funded teams and, with a little common sense and ingenuity, they created something that no one else had perceived as being a possibility. That’s the secret behind Koenigsegg being the most uniquely breathtaking, and performing vehicles available today.
It really comes down to self-love and self respect. Similar to the 2-part photosynthetic process. Because love and respect are invisibly tied to one another, so intrinsically so that, one can only experience each one, in the absence of the other. Self-love and self respect are one and the same, on the surface, to the uninitiated, or to the less observant of us who look but don’t see.
The theoretical thinking that happens in the mind of theorists, is unbridled artwork, at its more creative stadium of thought.

Thankyou to all those who Helped Research and Put Together the Pieces of the puzzle of life.
Felt like posting some of my Notes. :)
    (traditional photosynthetic photons (400-700 NM)
It takes Eight Photons to get through and fix CO2. 4+4 photons to create ......one photon excites one electron

    What is NADPH in photosynthesis?
    Image result for NADPH
Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide Phosphate Hydrogen (NADPH)
NADPH is a product of the first level of photosynthesis.
It helps to fuel the reactions that occur in the second stage of the process of photosynthesis.
Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate, abbreviated NADP⁺ or,
in older notation, TPN, is a cofactor used in anabolic reactions,
such as the Calvin cycle and lipid and nucleic acid syntheses,
which require NADPH as a reducing agent.
It is used by all forms of cellular life. NADPH is the reduced form of NADP⁺.
    Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADPH)
is an essential electron donor in all organisms,
and provides the reducing power for anabolic reactions and redox balance.
NADPH homeostasis is regulated by varied signaling pathways and several metabolic enzymes
that undergo adaptive alteration in cancer cells.

measurements are scaffolding approximations around quantum entanglement functions. measurements are absolute and between multiple points of reference, while entanglement is based on vector physics and relative. we can not have measurements in real time, only about the past. same way we can only have probabilities about the future, not measurements. entropy is the sewing of spacetime between probabilities and measurements. the human concept of time is an illusion. everything we do in plant science is alchemy through entropy.

is it possible to do soilless organic mediums? that use enzymes and compost and mycelia but harbors no bug life at all? I'd imagine we could design some synthetic sludge easily, but we would need to break down organic plant science differently than we currently do. i've personally been experimenting with treating half soil half coco as a coco grow but trying to have organic material for biodiversity, correct ph balance and better enzymatic nutrients uptake. End goal being making a supersoil that will lack nothing and can not host pest, without going full hydro or lab setup.
