@@ebayerful Shane from MIGRO has a video showing iPhone accuracy for the Photone app is almost on "PAR"with the Apogee reader. Android sensors aren't as good as iPhone
I helped the Photone crew test on my older Samsung phone a couple years ago... just know their results are estimations using different formulas for every phone/camera combination out there. Cell phone cams are still heavily optimized for simple RGB capture but more game-changing tech around the corner. Photone is perfect for home size grows, but anything bigger would just go up a level. 🙏
Interested in a DLI-600 but specs shows it drifts 2% a year (for all of your par meters). Does that mean in 5 years it will be a 10% drift, and can it be re-calibrated if so how much$$??
I so wish there was a more affordable option for home growers. Love what you guys do though
you guys do some amazing stuff but do feel you need a budget Par meter for home growers
Since the Photone app is quite accurate when compared to Apogee devices, I wonder if Apogee will make an app themselves?
did you compare the 2?
@@ebayerful A number of channels have compared the two and when properly calibrated Photone is pretty accurate (for home growers).
