    Good tips here. Practicing on the grass is nice. But over many years I fished a marginal stream 2-3 times a week during reasonable weather. Sometimes for only an hour at a time and without wading. That helped my fishing immensely.

    This is great! Like the part on drifting versus creeping..Drifting is a nice feel and helps you load the rod even more..a real casting improvement for everyone...
