  • This is a time lapse of how to make a passive implant bar in Meshmixer for the Screwmented Hybrid Technique. In this technique, the bar is fabricated by creating a uniform small spacer gap around the cylinders so that the bar or hybrid can be picked up intraorally for the absolute best passivity. In this case, 1.8 mm holes were subtracted out for purposes of tapping and inserting Locator bar males after the bar is cast. The final bar file can be milled or printed in castable resin and then cast.

Hi, thank you for posting your videos. Is the DS-EX 's 10μm precise enough for "all-on-4" implant bars? A fellow tech told me that anything over 5μm and he's had alignment problems. Since you work with the DS-EX and clearly would know, I am interested to have your take on that. Thank you kindly.

    Great, but so fast!

This is ridiculously fast. No one can learn anything with this fast pace video especially when we are at the intermediate stage. It would take us 2 hours to learn and implement a bar.
