Help pls!! I recently purchased a used HK AeroLite 2 Reg. Took apart to service/lower Pressure. Noticed there was no shims. Will the tank still operate? If not what should I do? Thanks! 🙏
Just to clarify you need the colored shims in the bottom of the regulator that are used for adjusting the output pressure of the regulator or the shims that comprise the spring stack found on the regulator piston? If we are talking about the colored shims that are used to adjust their output pressure then you are fine the regulator will work just fine without those shims it will just be set at the lowest pressure it can be at.
i know this is a late answer, but the fill nipple has it's own oring. it wears out since it is a moving part and debris from filling and playing gets in there. de-gas the tank and unscrew the fill nipple. should be a little piston with the oring inside the bottom.
