This scene is among my personal favourites from Umineko! The shivers and excitement I felt upon watching this part for the first time were indescribable.
That's not true, the only one that didn't get it are those that didn't at least take some time to think and replay some of the games (ESPECIALLY the second one after the reveal of the "cat in a box" of episode 3). Legit I consider Kannon's disappearance like the biggest hint ever. That's not to say that your dumb to not figure it out. Most if not all wouldn't of understood ALL tricks by the end of the question arcs by their first reading. I had the opportunity to read it with some friends so we could discuss our theories, and trust me, it makes it x100000 more fun.
I know what was the purpose of this. But, you know... I watched the entire series as an old PC version, so i never got to hear them talk. Therefore, I imagined both of them as having cute, girly voices... And I was sooo wrong.
芳雪羽鳥 She has a proper name. Yasu is a nickname, based off her given surname; that she hated, because the word can translate to 'cheap' in Japanese. Her real name is Sayo.
Yuri Bernhardt got the yasu from "Yasuda Sayo" tho "Yasuda Sayo" is also a fake name, it's actually Lion but....... she fell off the cliff and yeah things happened

As far as Sayo was concerned, Lion died on the day he fell of the cliff. Sayo didn't want that name or even consider; let alone accept the implications of being attracted to people related to her.

Zimny Lech well, the in-game tips did state that they are of different genders actually, but i am not sure which is male
