Bangkok to Jakarta isnt much different as far as humidity and chaotic traffic is concerned LOL But I bet food price is far cheaper in Jakarta than many other SE asian cities.. Indonesia has THE CHEAPEST food price well known across SE Asia..
if you still at jakarta try my recommendation : 1. Bakso Akiau (Mangga Besar Raya) Beef soup with Noodle/Rice Noodle 2. Bakmi Ahau (Mangga Besar Raya) Pork Noodle 2. Sop kaki kambing bang karim ( Tanah Abang) Goat Soup with milk 3. Bubur Angke (Komplek Taman Harapan Indah, Jl. Tubagus Angke, Jelambar, Jakarta) Porridge with chicken , Bihun Bebek Be prepare for Queuing, all open after 18:00. ☺☺

I *love* these travel videos, showing your process for getting where you're going. Keep them up, because they're a highlight of my day. The only issue I have is that when you do a cut to just a travel scene (like in the taxi, on the way to the airport) the music gets so loud. :-(
