Great stuff, Erwan. Kevindra is very knowledgeable. But who came up with your glossary, a Malay? Some of those would be met with confused looks in Jakarta. Try these:
Mushrooms = jamur instead of cendawan
Crab = kepiting instead of ketam
Salted fish = ikan asin instead of masin
Red chillies = cabai/cabe merah instead of merah
    And bonus: pig/pork = babi
Looking forward to the next video!

Mushrooms= jamur. Cendawan used more in poetry/scientific term.
    Salted - Asin
    Ikan - fish
    Salted fish - ikan asin
    Egg - telur
Salted egg - telur asin (usually duck egg instead of chicken egg)
    Red - merah
    Chilli - cabai / cabe
    Red chilli - cabe merah
    Green - hijau
Green chillies - cabe hijau / rawit
Crab - kepiting. Ketam is hardly used in daily life.
    Hope it helps.

This video is so well made.. I mean, your explanation about everything is quite simple. As an Indonesian I'm kinda feel impressed. Please, do visit another country in Indonesia like Yogyakarta, or Surabaya.. the foods and cultures are rich

But Indonesia is huge and you will find different variants of your favorite dishes scattered all around the country! Make the time to visit the other cities and taste their very own take on these savoury meals! Bon appétit and keep exploring! Krupuk for days....

Hi Erwan, fyi at 7:40 , there are many words that are pretty uncommon words that we (as locals) use everyday.
So it's better to say *Jamur* as Mushrooms, *Kepiting* as Crabs, and *Ikan Asin* as Salted Fish :)
