Feeling ko sya talaga yung asawa ni Anne Curtis HAHAHAHA Kidding aside, he and his team are better than some agencies in promoting Philippines not just as food destination but an all-in travel destination. The team never failed to showcase the essence of a place, the heart of the local people, and the never ending world-class food we have. Thank you, FEATR!
Sana gawin yan ng mga taga gobyerno, diba :) So that they will be aware of the needs ng mga fishermans, farmers, etc.
I am from Capiz, and the way she expressed it showed that she was both proud and excited to be with you. The ‘sini-sini’ dialect, a variant of the Hiligaynon language, is quite different from the Ilonggo and Negrosanon dialects. It has a strong, almost harsh accent compared to the soft, sing-song accent of Iloilo and Negros. I encourage you to explore more of Panay Island. It is a beautiful place and one of the few islands in the Philippines that does not have an active volcano.
You have done more-or should I say, you’ve singularly educated millions of Filipinos that there’s no one way to cook our famous dishes. Whether it’s meat or fish, like adobo, tinola, or paksiw, you’ve shown us that cooking is more like a choose-your-own-adventure book than a strict recipe! As you scour the different regions and far-flung islands of the country, you’ve unearthed culinary treasures that we should learn to own and love-like that secret family recipe for adobo that’s been passed down through three generations but somehow still tastes different every time! Thank you, Erwan ( husband of Ann Curtis😂) May you continue to vlog about the richness and diversity of Filipino culture and traditions in the kitchen, and may your food adventures always be spiced with a dash of humor and a sprinkle of “oops, I forgot the salt!”
So humble! Capiz is my second home in the Philippines. My mother is from there. I went to College in Roxas City and worked for 4 years before ako napunta dito sa Norway. Thank you for featuring Roxas City, Erwan! More power!
After having lived abroad for forty years, I find this type of video very enjoyable. At the same time, it is pure torture as it clearly reminds me what I am missing. There's really no place like home.
From time to time i get to watch videos from Featr and i can say that Erwan is the most chill as host. Low key, humble na you get to learn something. Not too animated but still interesting. Not intimidating, not even pretentious. Just chill. Like he just wanna share. Even him doing an AD feels like hes just sharing. definitely not a bida bida host. More power to your shows! Chur! 🤙🏽
I rarely comment on youtube videos but this one, I had too. I love this feature so much it’s so raw, real, and really captures the heart of Filipino cooking and livelihood. Capiz is so soulful I want to visit so badly❤️
13:58 Undoubtedly THE BEST content creator for Philippine food, travel, and education! Such an incredible way to immerse in the richness of culture from the comfort of home!! Kudos and continued success, FEATR! 🎉🎉🎉 Way to go, 'asawa ni Anne Cortez'! 😂
As someone who’s always on the look for your new episodes, the featured provinces is always a favorite. I got to visit and get informed by the unique culture and locals way of life for free. Seeing my hometown featured is a delight to watch! Proud Pan-ayanon here!❤
Growing up in Roxas City with these foods considered as our staple, the description of the foods are on point. Very honest opinion and that's what I love about this episode so much. It's featuring the local food of the province that can be yes, found on other provinces, yet highlighting the key points of making it and other factors that makes it unique from one province to another. The comparison allows viewers to have a taste of Roxas City just by watching a 30-minute episode.
Been a subscriber since The Fat Kid Inside a decade ago and I’ve watched and loved travel videos to international locations (my favorite still the Fukuoka one with CebPac) and to more popular local destinations in the Philippines. Now that my hometown has been featured, it feels like I’m a tourist in my own home. Food and things that I often overlook because of how “normal” and familiar they are to me now bring a sense of nostalgia and pride. Thanks for the feature, Featr! What a great way to reintroduce me to my own hometown.
1st ko napanoud vlog nya nung sa mga Aeta episode, ganda po vlog nya very informative when it comes sa kultura at tradition ng pagluluto.. Salute you po sir kasi philippines yung napili nyo i-content kasi bihira kasi yung ganito..
Erwan by far has educated me more than any other Chef, Cooking Blogs I have watched. Him sharing and highlighting local ingredients were the best part in each location he visited. What a showcase ! Keep doing what you do.❤
My father from capiz ❤hapi to see again after a long time I never visit our relatives I feel looking back in my childhood experience when we went their ❤ilove the sea foods ❤❤❤
If only those people who say that Philippines' cuisine is unhealthy and only fried and adobo, Lechon, sisig watch these kind of videos. They'll know how diverse food here.
Thank you Erwan for featuring our beloved province Capiz.... There are more to see in each of its surrounding towns. Hope you can return to the place and feature more of its culinary dishes, culture and the lives of people there. Great show!
Welcome to Roxas City. Minsan na eecha puera ang roxas sa tourist coz of nearby cities like aklan na may boracay and iloilo which is mas well known if you mention panay islands. But people tend to forget that we are the SEAFOODS CAPITAL of ph. Thank you for featuring our city.
Mas fun mag Ro-ro..madadaan mo buong panay and from sunrise to sunset you will experienced it sa loob ng barko. Some may prefer plane dahil mas convenient.Pero kong gusto mo talaga ma experienced ang mga magagandang tanawin while traveling lalo na papuntang Negros,a must try talaga ang magtravel through Ro-ro.A long travel pero worth it talaga.Kudos to Erwan Teams effort.
Erwan stay humble. We love you! Sana makita kita balang araw papa picture ako hahahaha God bless! The best FEATR! More power! ❤
Proud capiznon...people's of capiz appreciated the goodness of erwan....tnx for visiting my hometown...your always welcome the province of capiz anytime.....your so simple and good person....❤

Thank you for featuring Capiz! You bring me back to my province (gusto ko na mag puli yah hahaha) plus the tone ng salita ni ate “Asawa ni Anne Curteess” nakakamiss marinig ang tono ng salita namin! Btw, RML is the best inasal ever you should try the “retaso” (different part of chicken much much savory) Proud Capizon here!❤
Safe travels always, Kuya Erwan and the team! May you be surrounded with kind and genuine people all throughout your trips. Thanks for visiting, Capiz! 💗
Just keep it up. Thanks for all the places that you’ve been. Hope I can visit all those places . Leaving here in New York made me hungry for all the food you’ve been eating
Thank you Erwan and manang "asawa ni Anne Cortes" 😅 because of this, Roxas city was noticed..thank you for introducing Roxas as a place with many tasty food not just a place of "aswang". mas nauna ka pa kumain sa mang inaso kesa sa'kin😅
I'm glad for a minute or so, the poblacion of Roxas City was featured. Historic church, capitol and bridge... And when you walk around you'll find it has one of the best collection of Liberation-style architecture, a nice change from the well-known bahay kastila towns ❤
thank you for visiting my province, Capiz, and appreciating the simplicity of our dishes. it's our way of highlighting the freshness of our ingredients as it carries the taste of the places where they originated. as the french would say 'goût de terroir'
Welcome to Panay, again…indeed it’s important for people to recognized what is good food in their environment/place..thanks for giving glamour and ownership to these simple staple.🎉🎉🎉
thank you erwan for reading and taking down our comments and suggestions. i am happy that you have mentioned passing by Passi City but sad at the same time that you have not stopped by and venture into what our humble place can offer. But anyways, I am happy that you have now a chance to explore Iloilo and Capiz provinces. I hope you will the Panay Island in general. More power and happy eating!! ❤️😊
I believe “tinola” in hiligaynon means “sinabawan” in tagalog. Tama? Kaya yung tinolang isda may batuan pampa-asim and not the typical tinola with ginger. I missed the delicacies of my hometown! ❤️ good feature 👍

Simply the best food vlogger.
Erwan and his team should get more recognition for promoting the Philipine culture like no other.
True! A real Filipino
Erwan is by far, isa sa pinakamagaling when it comes to promoting a certain brand. 👏
Erwan's tagalog starts to sound really good. Ayos!
I agree. Very unique it's like watching a tv show documentary.
Solid talaga documentaries niyo 🥹.
The trending "asawa ni Anne Cortes" brought me here.😆 Welcome to Capiz, erwANNE!
Me too haha
