- You can expect the Force Gurkha 5-door to cost a tad more than the older model, which was priced from Rs 15.09 lakh (ex-showroom). It will be a larger alternative to the Maruti Suzuki Jimny, while locking horns with the upcoming Mahindra Thar 5-door.

Dear Sir, Thar is more practical than Gurkha. No doubt this has differential locks with 2.6ltr engine which makes it powerful but this is only for those who stays in mountain areas. Thar you will see everywhere, city, towns, off-road everywhere. So Gurkha must think abf make vehicle which is practical for city people with well refined engine who gives little good mileage atleast 12 in city.
Interior is shitty.
Otherwise it is a beast.
Finally Gurkha is getting what it deserves. But still it is too underrated machine

I've driven this car its too hard rugged, feels every tiny pot holes to the steering wheel directly which is very annoying and it doesn't know what comfort means 😑 Before driving i was very much fanatic to this car.
They have completely revamped the underbody configuration with better sus from gabriel now even bushes and swing arm has replaced so drive the new one
Only negative is the middle row spacing and no foldable rear seats. It has so much space for boot. However the seats cant be folded to make space

The only thing I don’t like about the Gurkha is its cabin or interiors. The dashboard, steering, and seats feel like I am sitting inside a 90s truck (even though latest trucks have better interiors).

To be honest if you are staying in Mountain or such places where mostly roads are not there, then this Vehicle is blessing. Else, for City and towns, Honestly this Vehicle is just for Show बाजी nothing else. City and towns doesnt have any offroading types of roads ....in India now maximum places Roads and Infrastructure is decent so no need of Offroader vehicles except for some remote places or those who are staying in Mountain areas.
Donot waste money buying this Vehicle since for City people this cannot be a Primary car. I did the test drive so i am saying, it is very Bumpy, slow pick-up and average is pathetic.
This is a good vehicle for offroading areas
Whenever you have extra time n extra money... take a good round of Haryana... UP... mind you... NOT on Expressways n Highways... m talking about major internal roads of cities.
Ok leave everything aside... take 3-4 hrs round of Gurgaon (Haryana) only... known as so called millennium city... and you might see the real India with real raods.
