Hi Marlene, as always it was lovely hearing about your projects! The Zipper Sweater Light will be my next cast on, so seeing your Zipper Sweater is getting me very excited about that project. The collar looks extra squishy and comfortable for winter. I love your interior design aesthetic by the way. Hope you're well! -Marissa
Great episode! I also started knitting socks a few weeks ago and what I found helps with that stretched out stitch on the side is to pull the second stitch towards you a little bit before knitting it. That evens it out quite a bit. Lovely greetings from Austria 😊
Hey Marlene, I start to watch your podcasts from the beginning…, don’t ask me why. I found you by mrs. Rhabarber (the real name is not in my head at the moment 🙈, I am sorry,) I just wanted to say, that I really like the way you do this very very much. I like your projects, your explanations, your choices of yarn and you as a person. Should I say everything? YES! I am also happy that you recommend yarn, shops and all that and mention it in your marks. Thank you therefore, because if it’s not written somewhere I either don’t understand or forget it. Okay, Olivia and Oliver…, you mentioned so often that even I will probably remember 😬 Just one thing: I know you obviously have a lot of connections to the US. Nevertheless, if there is anything you would love to have from there (please no wardrobe or sofa😳), you can answer to me, as we will fly there in nine days and I would be happy, to bring something what you want and can’t get here. No, I am not crazy, but I know how expensive it is with tax and shipping costs from there. I almost buy my fabrics (I also sew) from there, especially we are mostly there at on Black Friday 🤗. Although then you have to pay high shipping express costs as they have so much to do that your purchase wouldn’t arrive on (or in?) time. But I think you podcasters are all … what’s the word… vernetzt🙈 and assist each other…. Btw I am very interested how you will manage the zipper sweater…. I also love it so much! Oh, you mentioned a shop near Frankfurt and Offenbach… 🤗…. Okay, I can’t write anymore I have to follow your podcast, sorry…. Lovely greetings
Thank you so much for watching! I hope you have a great trip to the US ;) I’m glad you find my notes and all the information in the description box helpful ☺️ Best wishes to you! 🧡
Hi! I just wanted to you know that the problem with the purl in your decrease stitches could be because of the knit stitch before and after it as well! For me I noticed mine needed me to pull the purl a little tight as well as the knit stitch directly after
oh no!! surely there are videos on here about that though right? It’s really easy, maybe you‘ll try it next time 🤞🏼 just turn your work and knit into the lower stitch in the right side with your left needle. I hope this helps and next time you‘ll be able to fix it 😊

Thanks for the tip! I will try that on my next hat or any decreases for that matter 😊

Dropped a stitch marker yesterday and passed out 😭. I frogged the whole thing because I don't know how to go back a few rows with circular needles.

@@marleneknits I've never heard of the method you've described. Is there a name for it?
hey, no I‘m sorry.. I would call it „knitting back“ so pretty much just undoing what you did, if that makes sense?
@@marleneknits makes sense. Thank you!
What is the name of the jumper you’re wearing and yarn that you used? Is it the Monday sweater?
I‘m wearing my favorite things knitwear‘s sweater no 23 in knitting for olive heavy merino in oatmeal :)
