Looks as my Beretta modified Garand and my BM 59 I handled during my mandatory army service in Italy had a baby!!😄 I love It and the quality of that beautiful wooden stock!
I also got a Gen2 James River Armory BM59 receiver just a few weeks ago - service and speed were excellent! They fitted it with barrel and bolt - for a BM59 Ital model (older kit I picked up 8 years ago). The gun went together nicely - some hand fitting to get the parts together and its just a nice smooth shooter. The Gen 2 receiver is indeed nicer finished than my Gen1, but I still love my Gen-1 gun in Para configuration.
Its great to have options for the kits. I wish there were more models available as they really are a lot of fun. Glad to hear you had a similar experience and I hope they continue to run well for you. Thanks for the comment.
Very cool how you cleared that stuck case. I learned something. I love the sound! That thing is a beast!! Good thing you didn’t bring a friend shooting because that chip on the stock probably would’ve caused a resentment.
I really like it. I have a nice kit and some original Italian ammo. I need to mod the receiver which seems like a pain. Is that a new production barrel or a modified usgi. My kit come with a springfield modified barrel.
Interesting. Both barrels I have are Italian made for the BM59. They are almost new, possibly fit to some rifles but used little if any. Good luck with your receiver.
I've taken a few good BM's, no regrets, idk but these parts kits aren't really on sale and everything is only going to get more expensive, a Springfield armory M1A is going to be as expensive but these guys are p.f.c

Yes, and the Amazing thing Is that my Garand was modified by Beretta but on the top was carved "Springfield Armoury"!!😊
Thank you for sharing guys!
A pleasure to see the gun and your insight it is appreciated.
That gets positive attention from other fans.
I usually don't like music with my gun videos. But his was spot on.
Thank you for the kind words and I appreciate you watching. Take care.
It's essentially what they envisioned the Garand to be in the 1920s/30s. A mag fed rifle in 276. But, the Army got in the way of those ideas.
As is often the case unfortunately. Thanks for the comments.
Even as early back as the Civil War, the US Army opted for the Breechloader over the Henry Rifle. So, their ignorance stretches quite far back.
the army has gotten in the way of most modern designs and then theyre adopted years or even decades later
Have had 3 built they all are wonderful and will be in my collection until I take a dirt nap...

Dang! That came out well. Another thing to add to my list of 'needs'. Nice video.
Thanks! I can't stress how much fun it is.
That compensator is well needed and looks efficient !
What a great looking gun, and an improvment over the mblock clip.
Its really is a lot of fun! So easy to shoot. Wish I had access to other versions. Hope he will trade me for it someday :-)
Nice🔥🔥 also audio clarity is in 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you! You are my video inspiration always.
Awesome video awesome rifle don't worry about the chip in the stock call it a battle wound now it has even more charisma and character

It sounds great! Great blasting noises. Yea, I have this one friend that always breaks stuff....I would have surely blamed him for it.
Very nice to see you out at the Ranger and using your beautiful baby's, its always a good day shooting, be safe my friend and what a Beautiful Rifle
Thank you as always! It has been a few great days out there. Hope you're having a good weekend!
I WANT 1 NOW LOOKS SWEET
Its even sweeter to shoot! Thanks for watching.
The tri-compensator is very good, in fullauto, it allows you to hit the target, the full magazine, greetings from Patagonia ARGENTINA
Beautiful rifle ya made 👍👍..........
Thank you Sir!
Finally got it going! Mine chipped in the same place.
Strange. Must be how the wood was cut. Yours running well? They are so much fun.
@MidwesternFC Yes it is. I'm working on load development now. It runs flawlessly.
Do you have a good phto of the BM-59 that you can share as "open source" for a gaming book??
I can get you one. Send me an email and we can chat. Info in my channel description.
Never touch the front handgard, it gets hot real quick on the Garand.
Great job and love this video series...dang...now Im going to have to get one...😂
Thanks for the comments and th ekind words. I cannot stress how fun it is :-)
ahhh... what the garand was originally conceptualized as.. mag fed

It's too bad these parts kits are now gone!
I didn't even notice. Glad I got 2! At least JRA is selling some of these. Theirs have more PB parts also which is nice. Thanks for watching.
Is this better than an M14/M1A? And how does the recoil compare?
I like it 'better' but its really a personal thing. The comp helps out a lot and makes it a really fun shooter.
Did they ever do a 243 cal bm59? Like a 243 marked receiver?
Not that I'm aware of, but anything is possible. Do you have a 243 marked rifle?
@@MidwesternFC I’m just curious I saw a rifle that looked like a bm59 but had a 243 cal marked receiver
Is that Turkish ZSR ammo? If so they have had trouble with brittle brass and over pressure rounds
Its Bosnian ammo. That was the only one I had trouble with but we'll see what happens. Thanks for the heads up on the Turkish ammo.

.308 ammo? Thats not a 30-06
Correct. Its chambered in 7.62 NATO and a whole lot of fun. Thanks for watching.
