Banjo-Kazooie was released with the N64 itself. It came as a bundle deal when the N64 was released because they didn't want people buying a system and not having any games to play. So Banjo-Kazooie is a game that literally EVERYBODY had growing up.

Watching this a year later and still crying my eyes out. I'll never forget the suspense, the excitement, the emotion. The way my heart pounded. Banjo and Kazooie's reveal is hands down one of the greatest moments in video game history and it makes me so happy have been able to been a part of it.

I totally understand the feeling. Banjo and Kazooie came out on my 5th birthday, and I got it that day as a present. It was my first game I have a lot of memories with. I didn't 100% it or anything, but it was one of the first games I remember being able to beat on my own.

I mean, Microsoft does know lmao, it's just that Rare has no idea how to bring back the franchise, and like, who will bring them back, considering most people who worked on the original game left the company, most people who work at Rare nowadays are just focused on making multiplayer games like Sea of Thieves, it'll be hard to bring them back.

@@michaelforgothispassword it's right around 1:07 when the super high pitched shrieking starts. The frame rate becomes noticeably choppy for a few seconds. Could also have to do with there suddenly being more fast paced action on the screen and more color changes, along with more audience movement to keep track of, but I like to think it's specifically the shrill cries of BAAANJOOOOOO that is bogging down the fps.

Re-watching this 5 years later after having this exact reaction watching it live still gets me insanely emotional. Banjo really be one of the greats .. I've wanted him in smash since 2001.
I don't even care about Banjo, but seeing this genuine joy for this character makes me glad that they are a part of the game now

All those Banjo Rumors I was sick of! But to find out they were actually true, to see it with my own eyes. Wow! At last! After all these years! Finally Banjo, Nintendo back together again. What a nice way to end the last year of this decade before we head into the '20's

They could, but with only 5 DLC character slots right now, I don't think Nintendo is going to include two characters from the same company.

This was one of the best days of my life. I remember having to work and literally had my phone on air plane mode all day so this E3 couldn’t get spoiled for me. Boy was I happy to see the bird and bear show up again.

You have to understand that for Eastern audiences, especially in Japan, Dragon Quest is a BIG deal. Watch the reaction video if you haven't yet. Sakurai by doing this has catered to both Western and Eastern audiences. Simply put: Everybody wins :).

Everyone even got tears for everything that they shown in this Direct, that's enought to say that all this time, Nintendo had always cared about their audience, cause after all, it's always about to be "Directly" to the audience, the consumers, the gamers..... the ones who have passion for this interactive worlds and universes, stories, characters..... and everything that can give us a new kind of experience and emotions as it has to be made for........
And for all of this, we have to give thanks to everyone at Nintendo, to their their partners and asociates who had been working hard to give us this new upcoming games, to Sora Ltd, for giving the best of themselves to make another wonderful game of this franchise,
to Sega, Konami, Bandai-Namco, Capcom, Platinum Games, SquareEnix, Atlus and most of all, Microsoft and Rare for joining in something that had become the most ambicious encounter of franchises in the history of gaming....
but, over all this people who made this posible, we have to give a thanks to Masahiro Sakurai and Satoru Iwata.... the ones who had made this game possible, and who in their entire lifes had cared on the players, in diferent ways....from the ground to above and beyond the company.
