I can't find the response anywhere..I would really appreciate your help! The message: "Failed to import appliance (..) could not create the imported medium (path); VMDK: cannot write allocated data block in '/ (path)"

You can access your local machine from cloudera using the HUE GUI. Click on the world icon from 'System' in cloudera, click on HUE, Click on the file browser on the top blue line, Select the folder you want to access and upload.
