During Read operation, When the NameNode sends the IP Address of the requested blocks there itself wasn't decided that which Rack will be accessed to get the requested blocks ? The reason being, It was mentioned on this lecture that requested blocks will be accessed within Rack1 itself since the lie close to each other.
hello sir i install Hadoop 2.8.5 on ubuntu . When i restart ubuntu and enter command start-all.sh or start-dfs.sh and start-yarn.sh Accept Namenode all daemon start. When i enter 'hadoop-daemon.sh start namenode ' Namenode get start but when i access data in hdfs i found there is no data. Sir can you help me?
