Happy is such an underrated show yet it’s so good I can’t believe nobody ever talks about it. And I’m so pissed that they cancelled it, they ending left so many loose ends. I mean seriously this show was funny, violent, the plot was ok, has a few weird scenes but it’s a great show and I wish there was a season 3.

@@joshuasummers9174 It would have been awesome if they had including "fornicating ghosts" like the ones seen in DOOM PATROL.
or if they wanted to do something dark and serious, they could have said "random person puts poisoned candy (or maybe cursed candy made out of Wishees) in the children's basket, potentially killing dozens if not hundreds of people".
Or maybe bringing back dead characters if they wanted to say "orcus' plan of unleashin hell in the world broke the barriers or something". either as ghost possesing characters and the actors trying to imitate the character (like say smoothie or sonny shine) or the charcater coming back as a zombie for 1 episode
This song matched the scene in Happy so fkn well such such a creepy tune

They nailed that scene and it is always in the back of my mind when I return to this tune. Which is just fine.

Sure, Nick won the fight and killed them all but still it was impressive
@@ianr.navahuber2195 it was great. The way they freeze framed it as sax is messing everybody up lol. The song fit perfect for how they did it. I’m so angry that they cancelled the show bc it was genuinely an amazing show. So many unanswered questions that need to be answered.
BEST "NICK" violent scene and song combination in the ENTIRE series. I kept rewing it over and over and over again. I was addicted to watching it every damn day. I'm weird like that.

They opened with this song at their show in Seattle. Probably the coolest song I've heard live ever. The synth was incredible. I was transported.

Love it! The Dandys never disappoint! What a cool song.
The first Dandys album I bought was Welcome to the Monkey House.
I was 15 at the time and went to a friends house where we drank a load of vodka and then did loads of 5 litre home-made bongs ("buckets" as we called them).
After a few hours of this, went home with a friend and I remember playing that album for the first time in my sitting room, trying not to let my mother know we'd been up to shit while the room was fucking spinning.
My god, that album spoke to our stoned drunk souls! All the random bits like "let's see if we can do this in one toke", naturally You Were the Last High went on repeat, but we were shook to our very souls by (You Come In) Burned! Felt every vibration, all the weird sounds and percussion, that bass rumbling through your whole body - it reflected and amplified all our insanely drunk stoned sensations in such an incredible way.
Needless to say, the more stonery experimental side of the Dandys has always held a very special place in my heart. Just listened to this while enjoying a hit from my vaporiser and fucking hell it's a heavenly combination again. It has a slight sense of sweet nostalgia while at the same time sounding very contemporary and not repetitive at all. So yeah, very long-winded way of trying to explain how happy this makes me and how fucking excited I am about the new album. (Not that I'm knocking their recent material, Distortland was class).
I seen em live on the tour of that album, in dublin, I was so high (on smack, don't do it anymore, unless you put it in front of me, that's why I geographically put myself where I cannot easily obtain it), courtney taylor taylor looked so wacked, he had a sort of mohawk.

I can’t stress how much this band was apart of my childhood and I didn’t even know it. Their song “We Used to Be Friends” was in the game Thrillville Off The Rails and I played that game almost religiously. Earlier this year I bought the music from that game off iTunes and I wanted to hear more from the Dandy’s. I absolutely loved Welcome to the Monkey House and then went into Thirteen Tales from Urban Bohemia. These guys are great and I’m happy to still see more music come out. I feel stupid for not listening to more of them when I was 6.
One of those songs that once it gets into your head it's hard to get out. And I thank them for that.

The shit now a days is just regurgitated shit from years ago in which is just arranged differently in order to sound original, but originality prevails over overly processed blow-dried Cotten candy main stream music in which you probably are a major patron of. The older, the more original, the better the material to rip off. Rock is dead. It died about twenty years ago. Run along now and listen to your Panic At the Disco and quit insulting what is left of originality. WHATS sad is that even the Warhol’s are a rip off of twenty years before them.
