Even now in 2022 this camcorder is still fascinating!
I just got this camcorder as a gift and I'm so excited! It's 2023, and I'm in love with the homemade video affect and believe that story telling through film doesn't require the most elite camera, just an idea and some effort

I used to own an SR11.. but after 4 years of use, it went out.. 3260 Error.. I recently bought a Canon Vixia HF S11, SOLD IT , and was about to purchase a Canon Vixia HF G10, but after further review... I've ordered a Sony HDR SR-12. . . I seriously think it's the BEST Camcorder on the market, even after all these years... As long as you have great lighting...

Honestly..... Very Amazing Video... Honestly.
This was a cool video awesome scenery.I'm putting together a video myself using the same camera, lucky to have 5 years after its release.
my only recommendation as far as the video is concerned is (since your using sony vegas) perhaps try selecting all of the video clips on the timeline, right click and find the drop down menu where you can select "disable resample." that will get rid of the added blurriness of the image.

Back then Sony realize what they did and stop making this camera and discontinue this camera, then they offer water down version of this camera and join the rest of the other fake camera maker. This led to allot of confusion about which camera is really HD. Hands down this camera was best for its time and still look good in 2024
How do you convert the avchd file in order to post it on RUclips? I have a mac book and it's impossible to post video to either facebook or youtube. Are you using a converter, and if so, which one?

I think you should have a tripod so the camera would steady therefor it would focus much better.
