- I know a lot of you have been waiting for this and now its finally here! This system didn't get much of a chance thanks to Sonys greedy ways, but thanks to indie help and companies like limited run, this system has almost had a 10 year lifespan

Great collection Reggie. I'm still finding physical Vita games I don't own... Love collecting and playing Vita games!
I know right? My vita shelf is full, but I still feel like there's a few more games I need to find out about and add to the collection
The fun part of Vita collecting is when you go to a brick and mortar store and ask to see the 4-7 games they have in stock. Most of the time it's the same rotation but finding something new is like winning the lottery. Definitely my favorite system to collect for
You should make another Vita video :)
Vita games are getting more and more expensive these days so better get them while you can!
I am at almost 100 games only collecting English physical releases that I could see myself playing and love the system. Lots of odd Japanese rpgs and visual novels if you are into slower paced relaxing games and the price for physical releases complete in box continues to rise. :)
Great collection man! Honestly I feel that the PSTV was even more overlooked than the Vita itself. So much potential!
Ayeee James!!
In Uncharted 4 they throw a Easter egg to Golden Abyss. In Nathan’s attic at the beginning of the game there is a box that has contents from his expedition in golden abyss and it says “ For Marisa” the protagonist woman you help in Golden Abyss. Pretty neat thing Naughty Dog threw in there.
Even though Persona 4 Golden dropped on Steam, I'll always keep my Vita. It's my favorite portable system.
It has bluetooth, the Switch or 3DS didn't have Bluetooth.
That's a good point
The main problem was the price of those memory cards, back then at launch those 32gig cards were over 100 bucks and nobody wanted to pay that! that's insane, you were already paying 250 before tax for the system, that was the reason I didn't buy one till a few years later.
Murumasa is love. Seriously, that was what made me want one after playing it on Wii. I had Odin Sphere Collectors Edition pre-ordered on my PS4. Played it and loved it. I went and bought the Vita copy too and went back and forth between the two as I could pick up where I left off from the other.
Just picked Muramasa and Odin Sphere up yesterday.
As a big Wipeout fan I always wanted a Vita, but between the price of the system, the price of the memory cards, and the lack of any other titles at that interested me, I passed it up and never really gave it another look... until early 2017. By then Sony had dropped it and 3rd party support was slowly dropping off, and I took a chance on a second hand system off eBay (original 3G model) to get that Wipeout 2048 fix. Maaaaaaaaaaaan what a great system, I had a PSP and a DS but the Vita really kicked off my love of handheld gaming (about 20 years too late!). I quickly built up a solid collection of Vita games in about 6 months, I was obsessed with it. I couldn't put it down playing Ys Lacrimosa of Dana, i was playing it more than my PS4. I even bought two more systems, a WiFi phat as a spare and a slim which I used when I went to Japan.
However, as much as the memory card situation didn't help the Vita, the weak library only made things worse. It's great to pick and choose at the end of its life, but I couldn't imagine being an early adopter and living through that slow trickle of releases, only for Sony to stop supporting it 4 years later. Even now there are some pretty big gaps in its library, especially racing games.
What also hurt the Vita was it came out at time when smartphones were getting more powerful, and mobile gaming was taking off to be the next big thing. In has since fizzled out a little, with the Switch showing a purpose built system still provides a deeper and better experience, but mobile gaming is still incredibly big in Japan, and its definitely had an impact on their industry.
Vita has to be one of the most underrated handheld consoles in the history, it offers an amazing library of games, even larger when you consider backwards compatibility with PS1 and PSP. But in my opinion it was the expensive memory cards and the time when it came out that killed the system. Just recently dug out my Vita and Im having a blast playing P4G!
That makes me happy to read.
I happen to be of the opinion that the Vita's failure is almost entirely the fault of Sony. The system had all the components to be a massive success, but Sony fucked it up with both the marketing and not having must have games on the platform. Had there been must have games day one and for the first year or two available for purchase at a regular clip, the proprietary memory and other issues would've been treated as inconveniences.
The PS Vita is so underrated. I still love the one I have.
Great collection! The Vita definitely deserved more love.
Another what if. In the history of video games.
The Vita was set for success until Sony had to screw it up with the memory cards
@1488 Dental Official yeah the vita is a very good system but Sony should’ve and could’ve done a lot more to give it sales
Just as I was about to give up on my Vita, I came across a slew of great titles I never knew about and snatched them up.
I love my Vita, I bought it 7 months ago and I'm up to 100 Vita games so far but only 31 physical copies and still not done collecting for it yet. Lol
Reggie surely knows his games. Usually when people mention Vita,we hear limited names of games but there are lots of titles we can still play and have fun. Nice Video Brother
The extortionate price of the memory cards, plus the lack of support for this system, caused its downfall. The potential of the Vita was never fully released.
That intro music and painting is on point Reggie.
Wish I had bought a PS VITA at the time.. now I just don't have the time to enjoy it.
Radical Collection!! 🤘
I still use my Vita a lot. I do have a Switch as well, but I still take my Vita with me when traveling. I play mainly competitive fighting games so the Vita is the only way to play Street Fighter X Tekken (could have been a phenomenal fighter if not for the terrible gem system), Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3, Arcana Heart 3, Dark Stalkers Resurrection etc. on the go. It was a great system.
View no.5!.....
I miss my old Vita. So I took your m8's lead (as in mate, I'm aussie and mean Metal Jesus) and ordered a blue one from Japan! Should be here in a few weeks.
Amazing collection
Reggie costing me a fortune, I swear I've picked up like 50 PS3/PSP/Vita/Switch games watching your videos
Thank you for this awesome video Reggie!
Dude, you are so knowledgeable. I learn so much about video games especially ones that i had no prior knowledge of. The most underated content creator on the platform. You should be millions strong by now bro.
love the beat in your intro
Thanks that was provided by yours truly lol
Great video , I still enjoy the vita as well , I keep one in my semi truck .
Still play mine, Vita collecting is a lot of fun 😁😁😁
Was a big 3ds fan...until I got my Vita with Marvel Vs. Capcom and Dragon's Crown. Still collecting. Playing Demon's Tier Plus physical now. Preordered Xenocrisis too. Had put it aside for a while until I picked some Japan only games Bullet girls 2 and Senran Kagura. Have been playing daily since. Even picked up a Japan white and light blue 2000 model. I go between my model 1000 3g and my " new" one. Thanks for sharing your collection. Love Odin's Sphere, and Muramasa as well.
I recommend Toukiden Kiwami. It's my favorite monster hunter on the Vita and is very stylish and customizable
Great collection Reggie. I love my vita and still on the lookout for physical must haves.
Just started tuning in and really loving the Chanel. Thanks Reggie
good collection bro
Seeing that Back to 1995 reminds me of the mid 2000 I was a young boy playing GBA game thru VBA cause I can't afford a GBA and we don't have it in my country haha.
The memory card prices and advertising were the main downfalls of the Vita/PSTV. I modded both systems. I have a 256GB micro SD card in my Vita, and I have a 1TB external hard drive connected to my PSTV. Good luck if you're in the market for either device.
I just saw this game at gamestop called Rad Rodgers Radical edition and thought Rad Rodgers Radical Reggie edition.
Awesome collection Reggie! I love collecting for the Vita and I'm glad Play Asia is still showing it some love. They just announced a Chasm physical limited edition opening up for pre-order on August 6 I believe. I'll be picking that up for sure!
thanks for this reggie! The Vita population is growing. i finally got into it and im deep as hell into it now. Cheers!
Loves this mate, solid collection, some I still need to track down!
Vita is my favorite handheld, I'll still be playing it for years to come.
Great collection. Good few I’m gonna try track down after watching that
Vita turned out to be the greatest handheld after all because of the mod scene. Thank god for the ability to hack the vita, it is probably the best handheld for emulation.
Thanks for showing some Vita love. I can’t tell you how much I like this system!
Reggie you should do a video on your trophy collection!
Cool PSTV stands. The system is so small that it actually needs something like that to help keep it anchored down.
I have a lot of the same games. I used to try so hard to get them from limited run
You da man Reggie.
Nice collection, Reggie! I still love playing my Vita, and I feel like it's going to get very collectible in the years to come. You are already starting to see the system go up in price on the secondhand market, and even accessories like the Hori grip are going for a lot of money.
Great video and collection. I should have subscribed to you years ago.
Holy crap! I've just found your channel after watching MetalJesusRocks. I had no idea that you could paint so well! That self-portrait was actually very impressive.
😆 that’s not me painting 🧑🎨 that was down by Casual Drawing RUclips channel. Glad you like it.
@@The_RadicalOne Well now I feel stupid lol. Thanks for showing off your vita collection, though. helped me out a lot. Cheers mate.
You are cool, thanks for nice video !!!
Welcome!
I had a big vita collection but my son was born and had to sell it. In the future those games are.gonna be expensive so many obsucre games and region exclusive physicals.
I salute you for having passion for the dead vita. I remember the days when mobile gachas wern't a thing yet and i have my vita with me.
Nice collection Reggie. Absolutely love my Vita and the numerous games I have for it.
Great video my brother Reggie! Love from Mexico man! Keep the good work!
I have a 64, 32, 16, and two 8's. Just fits my library and movies. However with my Switch, I have one huge 256 that's just filling up now. The only thing about the larger cards is that you have to get a good quality and high speed card to assure you don't have horrible crashes and glitches.
I used to have a PS Vita 2000 along with the Japanese exclusive 64 GB Vita Memory Card. I didn't buy many games though and I ultimately ended up selling it along with everything Vita related. I needed the money more to be honest and I was playing the PS4 more. From all of the Vita games out, all I want to see getting a PS4 remaster-port is Muramasa and Uncharted Golden Abyss. Besides that, nothing on the Vita really would interest me enough to buy again if a PS4 version was made.
Great collection. I love the vita
Just learned how to mod or jailbreak the Vita, I got three now. Got my etsy store haha.. I love this little badboy!
Good stuff I only have Persona 4 Golden and Metal Gear Solid HD collection. My vita is hacked though so I can easily get whatever else I need up on it!
Cant wait to start my vita collection of good games
I hope that there is an easy way for these games to be more accessible. It's annoying for some of these games to have such a low print.
Vita is a great system and got me through a months worth of field training CSTX. Great collection. I only have about 45 games but I've gone and played most of them. God bless and take care
I always thought the vita was actually a cool portable, never had a chance to get one. Great video, Reggie!
Great collection Reggie!!!! I need to get another vita. I had to sell mine years ago but im thinking of getting one again. This just made me want one more! Thanks!!! Lol good stuff Radical Reggie. Stay awesome!
Great video and great collection. I've been trying to find a Playstation TV stand for what feels like FOREVER. Great job finding 2. Still love the Vita in 2020. Missed out on a physical copy of Xeno Crisis for the Switch so have one pre-ordered for the Vita. Awesome to still get new games for the system in 2020. Darius Burst Chronicles is awesome (too bad Vita version doesn't support multiplayer).
You are great man. Thanks for what you do.
Love the vita, still have my day one system. Also keep the vids up, though my wallet hurts after watching your vids lol
Nice collection, Reggie. I hope that one day my collection of Vita games will be as large as yours, now I has six Vita games and I love it lol.
What I love about Vita was although some Vita physical games are expensive right now but there's still much PS Vita physical games are cheap and that was rare case for underrated console, for example, Uncharted Golden Abbys, NFS Most Wanted, and Dynasty Warriors Next are one of three best games on Vita for me and that games can be buy just $10.
I own 2 of those pstv stands. Those stands are legit and make the pstv look more like a console and add weight and stability while on a flat top!!! If you can find one GET IT!!
Beautiful Intro and great collection!
Iconoclasts is a true hidden indie gem. The story for that game is incredibly deep and not what I expected the game to be like at all.
Love the Vita. Sad I haven't played it as much since the pandemic started due to it being my on-the-go system. Gotta make some time for it.
Just got an Aqua Blue Vita, can’t wait to check some of these out
That was great! You've got a wonderful Vita collection!
sadly is true the vita is as expensive as it was when it launch and some, im getting one for sure but i need to get the sd adapter first otherwise i wont bother
The problem with Vita now is that pretty much every North American game has spiked in price.
It’s Saturday! Fun Time! 💪🏾
You sure know your games, we have common interest Reggie. I'm definitely interested in that Back in 1995!! Love old school horror games that are similar to the classic Resident Evils and Silent Hill.
Memory card prices hurt big, but I think once PS4 launched and did way more that Sony projected Sony was content to just leave Vita behind and stopped trying to promote it. 3DS didn’t launch great and they had to concede on price but Nintendo stuck in there and got it it good numbers.
Iconoclasts is great. Got a copy for the switch :)
The sad thing is the latest system I have is a Playstation 2 and I only have two games, Grand Theft Auto 3 and TimeSplitters 2. TimeSplitters 2 are so awesome that I actually don't mind.
Its definitely time for you to expand. People are giving stuff away on eBay game hunting etc. I am focused on collectin certain Nes titles CIB in fantastic condition. I have gotten some amazing ones recently. Like Mario 3 complete in the box almost mint condition got for 47 one of the few things I found local.
For retro games I would recommend buying an rg350 sweet device that runs nes snes mega drive gb gbc gba classic arcade ps1 dos games neo geo it is slightly like the Nintendo switch in terms of design but so much cheaper
Nice video reggie! I just finished persona 4 on the vita the other day. Long but a very good story and gameplay.
This reminds me I need to improve my physical vita collection. Save some of that memory card space!! I may need to buy 3 or 4 32gb.
I am going to Check out all these games Thanks brother
I just bought a blue 2000 vita last week. Pretty much got it for emulation tho, but might play some of these games.
Buy "Cyber Analog Stick Covers" they a bit expensive now but makes vita so much better to play.
I’m thankfully I bought all my vita games on time, those games are super rare to get. The vita is a console that I wished it kept going but I don’t understand why Sony didn’t push harder on the support of the vita.
Many speculate that Nintendo Switch/Lite was the reason.
Dwarf wow never thought about that, makes sense.
Nah the vita was dead long before the Switch. The competitor was the 3ds which had all the marios, pokemons etc. Sony was doing great with the PS4 and focused all their efforts on that.
All bangers!!! Loved Golden Abyss, it got me into the Uncharted series!!
Ordered Papers Please last week. Probably the last Vita game I buy.
Nice collection man, I’m trying to get heaps of vita games now, been focusing on Lego games, and just various top games, still unsure on cod, but who knows!
Amazing Spider-Man, and gravity rush are next for me! I’m jealous of your collection, but I do have a lot of fighting games/racing games!
I need to check out Iconoblasts.. I been on a metroidvania binge lately
Love the collection good job 👏
Thank you! 🤗
Yo Nice collection! Can’t wait to see that ps2 collection 🤩
Damn reggie. Always comin with the fire content
Uncharted Golden Abyss is right on par with A Thief's End. People have no idea.
The vita is awesome!!
Vita love in 2020 YESSSSS 👍🏾👍🏾
Right on man!
I didn’t think that the Vita’s library was as huge as it is. I wish I’d collected more physical Vita games when they were cheaper, especially considering a number of the special edition games were pretty affordable.
Whats up with that Airship Q north american ESRB cover? Is that custom? I have a complete retail NA collection and ive never seen that before. 17:49
Its a custom case but the games in English.
Also hated how the game and save files were one file, so that made it even more annoying juggling games, you needed a ps3 or a pc just to store them.
