I fully agree with you here but this video sadly only got roughly 7000 views and in the gaming industry that is not enough to voice a big enough of a opinion to concern any big corporation
I miss good single player AAA games. Indie games are great, but there’s something so magical about huge scale adventures in worlds with color and danger and life. There’s not enough of those.

All facts here. This is a terrible trend in the industry with obvious cash grabbing by attaching live service, battle royale, or whatever-the-hell to so many releases. That's not even Rocksteady's brand. Looking at Marvel's Avengers, it was the live service component that killed the game, it had a pretty decent story campaign just on its own.
Gamers will start rejecting these boring live service games. Devs/publishers need to make real games again. Believe it or not, single-player experiences are still desired.
Anthem could have been good if they worked on it for 3 more years before it's release. They should have made it a little more like outriders and it couldhave been great. They also shouldn't have been so stingy with the loot in anthem. Warframe is also another great live service and one of the first

They would be better off to delay the game for a few years and rebuild it to meet the expectations of fans, as this is going to end up like The Avengers at best if released as a looter shooter. The Bgig reason of Avenger failed as Live Service - 1. Lack of Content 2. Missing Game loop to keep player engaged 3. Missing key features like - Join in feature, Petrol mode , horde mode etc.3. Failed Monetization Strategy.
They would've been better off making a teen titans game. Nobody cares about suicide squad and nobody asked for this. That'll be the biggest reason this game fails. I think after two horrible movies we've pretty much had our fill of suicide squad, let's move on
It's still possible for a complete overhaul. Granted it depends on the team and results vary. FF14 went down for 9 months and came back better, and SS is giving themselves 11 months. They already have the assets for the most part. Just have to work on animations and code. But the question is whether they want to or just downsize the thinks people didn't like to a more tame level

Marketing is there for us to judge whether a game is worth it or not. Suicide squad isn't impressing many people especially with this being Rocksteady the studio that created the arkham series. People fell in love with Rocksteady because of their arkham games. Look at Bioware and Crystal dynamics we've done this dance.

Yea I removed Suicide Squad from my wish list and it is highly unlikely that I will even try it now smh. I see why the creators of the studio left.
