Great job on those sheepheads jettyman. Is that a Shimano Stella ree? How happy are you with that reel for jetty fishing and pier fishing?
Yes that is a Shimano Stella 2018 model. It’s a very nice reel but it’s not for every angler. I fish very often so to me the cost is worth it but if you don’t fish very often I would recommend the new Stradic

They do eat dead shrimp but prefer live shrimp size 4 j hook
How long is the sheep season last at this jetty? Would February be late?
Not at all February is a great month for sheepshead fishing actually the best months are form February to April

You need arm extensions , then those 12 inch fish will look like they’re 5 feet long. They already looked like they’re three..
