Better call Saul gonna take over a year for you to finish it 😂
please watch alcamino ASAP
Don’t forget about ElCamino the movie that explains the ending of breaking bad and the beginning of Jesses new life
@@bdawg5855 he already watched it
Now you gotta see what happens to Jesse in the movie "El Camino".
Breaking Bad succeeded where Game of Thrones failed. The ending to Breaking Bad is satisfying and bittersweet. One of the best finales.
Game of trones isn't in the same league as BB
And The Sopranos!!!
@@cshubsthe sopranos ending is one of the best in history
@Justinhomii that's false. Game of Thrones became the most watched show oat because of its greatness. The definition of good out weighs the 2 max seasons of meh/bad
@@Justinhomiilol you guys gas this show too much it’s nowhere near game of thrones that’s crazy
The way Walt poisoned Lydia is super clever, he knew she drinks nothing but that Stevia crap ... and if you go back to the scene at the cafe with Todd and Walt you can see her shuffling through the sugar bin discarding every sugar packet until she lands on the ONLY stevia packet in the bin, forcing her into taking the only packet that's poisoned ! kinda genius.
22:31 HOLY SHIT hahaha you did pick up on it, that's impressive
And I'm thinking that he was at the counter when Lydia got there, then moved to a booth(?) I'm thinking to remove a stevia packet he planted there too in case they sat in that spot instead of the table. Were those the only two spots they sat at during the series? Just thinking.....
So glad to have been a part of this journey since the start, Breaking Bad ends here but this universe has given some of the best movie/tv content of all time with Breaking Bad, El Camino and Better Call Saul. So stoked about your BCS reactions because I know you are going to love that show even more.
Here I am at 4 am on a saturday, after sleeping from 6 pm to 2 am, with a totally disregulated sleep, watching this dude reacting to the last episode of the best TV show of all time, so many emotions, I remembered when I watched it for the first time, thanks for helping me enjoy my night time
✊
I think Walt decided to save Jesse when he heard from Skinny Pete that Jesse was still cooking
I see you have the Breaking Bad Blues. We all go through it the first time we finish the show. It's a very sad day indeed.
A show I HIGHLY recommend is “Barry.” It’s about an assassin wanting to pursue an acting career. It’s genuinely a MUST-watch.
It’s such a unique show, like it’s hard to even categorize it but the best way to describe it is a dark action/drama/comedy.
Like BrBa, it also deals with a protagonist that makes morally wrong decisions & has a depressing final season. The show is also VERY hilarious at times.
It took almost 2 years, but Walt did it. He finally built a robot for Jesse.
I listened to the commentary for this entire show, and they talked about some of the alternate endings that they considered, one of them was Walt trying his meth for the first time and dying on some sort of psychedelic trip
The greatest series finale in the history of television!
The marriage of story, music and cinematography in the final scene is indescribably brilliant! It's so haunting and it stays with you long after the show is over.
Congratulations and thanks to creator Vince Gilligan and the incredible cast and crew for making this masterpiece!
And thank you for the reaction, great job!
What a journey man. I've seen this show 2x, best of all time.
That peaky blinders mention got me hyped for the future. That, sopranos and Mr. Robot, oooo I'm excited
Walt always loved jessy as a son and at some point treaded him better and was more honest to him than his own family.
But as Walt became more and more corrupted throughout the series he treaded his loved ones like shit, lied to them, doesnt matter as long as he was in control.
Same with Jessy.
He only wanted to kill him in the moment when he was responsible for Hank catching up to Walt and also kinda why Hank died.
"Gretchitt and Ellien......" had me cracking up HARD. HAHA
Imagine the feeling, more or less 10 years ago when this came out live. 6 months of waiting for the last half the the series, then week after week till this ending.
I think we all had a similar jaw dropping moment of silence at the last scene. Mourning the end of Walt in a weird way.
Remember when Skyler gave all of Walter's money to Tedd and she said: i did it for us for the family ?
Such a hypocrite B word, i hate her.
She did it because they were all going to go down, Walt did it because he loved being shitty.
Cope, woman beater
There are no tv series like Breaking Bad, but people who loved it has a great taste and they focus on story, aswell as much on acting, how the camera operates, soundtracks e.t.c... if you are hungry to watch something so amazing close as Breaking Bad, I recommend ..The Wire, Dark and The Killing. they are excellent shows, like as Breaking Bad. Very good shows that I watched is Mindhunter, The Alienist, Bad Blood and Martina Cole's - The Take!
Now Better Call Saul is a must!
They stuck the landing. Consistency end to end.
You asked about what,Adam Sandler movie would we want by click but I forgot to add the most quoted one billy Madison.
Best television series of all time! Another great series is called Animal Kingdom. Same intense emotions as BB. Stumbled across it Binge watched it also.
19:45
A ricochet.
Don't forget the watch the alternate endings
You need to watch the El Camino movie next. Picks up right where this leaves off.
Man I'm so happy with this journey. I cannot wait for the better call Saul reactions.
I haven't finished it, but Mr. Robot is a good show that I think you should watch if you haven't already. If you haven't watched it, I'd like to see the reaction videos.
El camino now !
Secured his family’s financial future.
Finally told the truth.
Killed all his enemies.
Avenged Hank and Steve.
Saved Jesse.
Died on his own terms.
Also poisoned a child, let Jane die; Hank, Steve, and Jesse wouldn't even be in this mess in the first place if not for him, and so on...
So yeah he succeeded, at stroking his own ego before kicking the bucket. But he didn't help nor save anyone.
His family is indeed financially safe, but even they'd probably agree the cost was too great.
edit for the Walter fanboyz: I'm not saying Walter bad, everyone else good. Part of what makes this show so good is that there is no morally perfect character, everyone's flawed in some way.
But Walt's still on the darker side of the spectrum compared to most of the cast.
@@roycebracket1010if you wanna make an omelette you gotta crack some eggs.
@@SkinnyypeteeI won't eat omlet then...I will eat steak
@@Skinnyypeteethe way our system operates lots of people are forced into situations where "breaking eggs" can be justified to some extent.
Would be really cool if we could fix that.
@@roycebracket1010 He inadvertently saves a bunch of lives when you think about it.
20:45 - Notice how Walt killed Jack in the middle of his sentence, exactly the same way Jack killed Hank when he was mid-sentence. Poetic justice.
I JUST NOTICED
Also, Hank didn't bargain for his life
Jack bargained for his life
I think the month Walt spent alone with nothing to do, gave him enough time to think about everything and finally admit to himself on why he did what he did, and that what happened to Hank was his fault rather than always blaming someone else
Lmao month, it was a whole year
@@paulcarlsen5787i think Vince said it was 6 ish months
It had to be six months,Holly was 18 months old in Ozymandias and Walt was 51(she was born not long after Walt turned 50) and he’s 52 at the end so you’re right 6 months
As one journey draws to a close, another begins. Better Call Saul is easily one of the best spinoff series in TV history.
It’s spectacular genuinely spectacular I just restarted rewatched season 1 and man is it still fantastic Five-O and pimento are the standouts
BCS IS GOATED
One of the best spin offs series? Bro it's one of the best series oat in general💀
Also El Camino the BB Movie.
Damn foreal????
This is some thing every Breaking Bad fan should know: Gretchen and Elliott’s inclusion in the finale wouldn’t have happened without a real life kid named Kevin Cordasco (August 5, 1996 - March 11, 2013). He was a fan of Breaking Bad who Vince Gilligan credits with giving him the idea for reintroducing Gretchen and Elliott Schwartz into the conclusion of the series. Kevin died at age 16 after a six-year battle with neuroblastoma. The episode "Blood Money", which aired on August 11, 2013 was dedicated to Kevin. During his final months, several of the cast and crew visited Kevin in hospital. Vince Gilligan gave him the prop used for Tortuga's severed head as a gift.
There inclusion was perfection it makes so much sense the way it was done I don’t know how it would’ve even went another way
Also, Vince asked if he wanted to know how the show ended, and he declined.
taneshah, you still haven't given me your ig.
im dying
Wow. Props on vince for being so awesome. A prop from the set wouldve been awesome. May kevin rest in peace.
Better Call Saul is much more than just a prequel to Breaking Bad, it is NECESSARY viewing and just as perfect as the original show. It makes Breaking Bad so much better retroactively while still standing on its own as a perfect show.
i dont think it is necessary unless you want to be bored for 4 season. I loved BB cant stand BCS
@@daveross1638 Did you ever make the connection that the show is a prequel?
BCS>BB easily
@@daveross1638 I’m sorry you didn’t like it as much, I just personally don’t mind stories that are a slow-burn and focus a lot on intimate characters relationships. It’s a totally different kind of show, but I love that, even if I get why some other people don’t.
El Camino first
Walter finally admitting he's done everything for himself is my favorite scene in the show. That makes it the 3rd best finale I've seen
what are place 1 and 2?
1. The Clone Wars (last arc as a whole)
2. Mr. Robot
3. Breaking Bad
@@shadytano I'd replace Clone Wars with Black Sails, only because it's not something I've watched and Black Sails was literal perfection.
@@MFBloosh ive heard really good things about black sails. also Mr Robot
@@shadytano definitely want to check out Mr Robot
A lot of people don't get why I like watching so many reaction channels and I couldn't really put into words why I like it better than what you said, its the closest thing to watching something again for the first time. It's genuinely one of the best feelings.
felt
Yeah, it’s like revisiting/recapping the show with a buddy. I like seeing other people react to my fav parts and revisiting certain movies/series without having to watch the full things over again. It’s just fun.
@Millennium8182 I really enjoy seeing (whatever they're reacting to) through other people's perspectives.
Friendship Simulators
Jesse physically and emotionally breaking the out the cage at the end always makes me tear up, the whole ending kills me
I love that ending. Jesse is happy to leave the life, Walt was happy just to live it.
I was barely leaving 8th grade when you first started reacting to Breaking Bad. I am now 42 with a wife and kids. Glad to see you finally made it to the end 🎉
💀
To this day "Felina" is to me the best series finale ever. Literally flawless
I would have agreed until I finished Mr. Robot recently. The ending was just beautiful!
@jacobguevara3480 thanks for not spoiling it, watched first 2 seasons only ... think I'll get back into it
I hate how close to perfection it is without being perfect. It's my favorite finale ever, and show, but the finale relies on a couple too many convenient moments for Walt. It doesn't ruin it for me because I believe just a couple tiny tweaks would have helped but it's just so close to perfect
@@jacobguevara3480agreed! My 2 favorite shows and the 2 best finales on TV imo. Mr Robot and breaking bad!
@@jacobguevara3480I’ve been intrigued by that show since last October. I’m probably gonna watch it after Better Call Saul, then Supernatural, The Wire, Doom Patrol, The Sopranos, Succession, & The Expanse. I gotta check out Watchmen once I’ve read the comic & I’ve heard good things about Dexter as well.
Fun fact: In all seasons of breaking bad, every time keys are involved Walt always has to reach for or find the keys, and it inevitably leads to something bad happening and Walt not being in control of the situation. In this episode, the keys fall into Walt's hands, indicating he's the one in control this time.
Woohoo! What a journey man! Breaking bad in the books ladies and gents
Mythbusters proved that Walt's trunk gun contraption would absolutely work as intended
Jesse in season 2 mentions to Walt to build a robot to save them..and in the end he did just that. Also it’s cool as the cameras being pulled up, you can tell it looks like Walt’s in the crosshairs from the frames. Also the series starts and ends with sirens heading towards Walt. Such cool little insights….also the blood left on the tank when Walter left was in the a W.
Now we come to one of the best endings to one of the best tv shows. Jesse is finally free even if his life is probably screwd. Even in the end Todd was just a creepily nice guy. Walter is in a weird limbo of semi redemption in that he makes things somewhat better despite never actually regretting his choices merely the consequenses like Hank dying. It is hard to say if he won or lost. He truly did lose his family. Hank is dead, Marie hates him, Jr doesent want anything to do with him and Holly will never know the nice father that she had only the monster he became or he maybe always was under the surface. The only one who would tolerate him is Skylar but at this point that is moot. On the other hand he earned noteriety and infamy after 50 years of the world overlooking him now his moniker of Heisenberg will never be forgotten and even Walter White will be whisperd and discussed for a while. And the final break upp between Walter and Jesse both realizing that they arent good for eachother truly a love story of the ages. Sadly there was one love that Walter never could truly get away from his blue meth. He died surrounded by the one thing that truly gave him meaning in his life and made him feel alive. All in all Bravo Vince. While Better call saul isn't really my cup of tea it is still a ride and a worthy succsesor to Breaking bad.
The whole scene where Walt admits he did for himself is legitimately the best piece of acting I've ever seen
This show is a masterclass. Nothing else really hits like this show does. Every single episode is so meticulously planned out to lead to the best ending of any series I have ever seen. Ive honestly lost count of how many times my girlfriend and I have watched this show from start to finish. It never gets old, we still find little details we missed and it STILL absolutely sucks me in. PERFECTION!
What a journey it's been! Great to relive it with you bro.
This might be my favorite finale to a tv series ever. I felt so many different emotions watching this, so much crazy shit happened and it was just so perfect. Still in my top shows of all time.
I’m so looking forward to Better Call Saul. BB is a masterpiece and has a faster pace, but in its own way BCS is such a work of art, and while the pace is slower both the filming and the character development are insanely good.
From episode 1 onward, Walter became a volatile chemical mixture of Heisenberg & Walt, with Heisenberg slowly becoming the dominant trait. In this final episode, we see the Heisenberg / Walt chemical mixture has stabilized for the very first time - both working in unison. It took that stabilization for Walter to finally admit accountability.
It's been a fun run watching this series with you. Can't wait to start BCS. It's a much different pace than BB, but just as satisfying.
The blood on the tank as his hand slid down making a W was a phenomenal shot
It'll be 10 years in 2 months and 12 days when Felina aired and it still leaves me speechless. So powerful and so incredibly bittersweet. The only bad thing about Breaking Bad is that after seeing it no other show will ever reach the same level for you. Better Call Saul came very close, many people think it was actually even better, but for me personally Breaking Bad still takes the cake. Most times I like to think them both (and El Camino) as one big story and the most beautiful thing about them is the fact that they elevate and make each other only better. Yet Breaking Bad is still the original, perfect, borderline life changing experience. Thank you for the fantastic reactions, it was a great joy to see how passionately you lived through the story and gave it the attention it deserves. Can't wait for you to check out BCS & El Camino!
It’s finally over😭 your gonna love better call Saul ‼️
Breaking bad may be the greatest show to ever air on tv. It’s one of a kind. Truly a stroke of genius in every aspect. Acting, writing, directing, all of it. Just genius.
Sopranos is better.
Ah yeah. You were fun to watch, with him, Gretchen and Elliot! I freaking love that scene!! The more scared Gretchen gets, the harder I laugh😂
You are spot-on that he was dead inside rt there. His son wants nothing to do with him. That finished him. His self-loathing couldn't be more huge. And def a "f*ck it" attitude. So he went out, doing the deed that did him in. 😏
sons of anarchy is the closest you will get to this. very different stories but the writing, acting, and twists are nothing less than the quality of breaking bad.
I’d be sad about this series ending… but now you can watch El Camino and Better Call Saul!!! 🥳🥳
Now Better Call Saul. I live in Abq and live next door to a BCS location. I'll tell you which when you see it. It starts in ep 1.1.
I got goosebumps all over again watching you watch the last scene! So glad you got to experience this fam.
Thank you so much to reacting to Breaking Bad!This show means so much to me even though I only discovered it last year. It’s been awesome to follow it along since the S4 premiere:)
So, the episode is called Felina, right? Let me explain why.
You see, it's actually a word composed of elements in the Periodic Table.
"Fe" (Iron)
"Li" (Lithium)
"Na" (Sodium)
Iron, is the dominant element in Blood. Lithium, is the predominant metal used in Meth manufacture. And Sodium, is a principal element in Tears.
Rearranged, Felina also spells "Finale".
Favorite episodes: 1) Ozymandias of course, but then followed for me by 2) Phoenix, when Walt lets Jane die. Damn this scene haunted me for years, I really liked her - in that scene you can see the switch from Walt to Heisenberg happening - from that point on he was the villain to me! And 3) The Fly - just because it got low ratings back in the day by people who I would say dont deserve this show as a whole because it is perfect - this episode showed the relationship between Walt and Jesse evolve and furthermore Walts obsession to detail and being in control, losing basically his mind when things - the stupid harmless fly - are not in his control.
An epic ending for an epic TV show. We witness the best TV era EVER: Lost, House MD, Dexter, the golden era of TWD, Supernatural. It will never be the same. So much criativity running on simuntaneously.
It's been a tremendously fun journey, man! I can't wait for Better Call Saul because I believe it to be a better-written show than Breaking Bad as the latter took a minute to find its footing and build upon its great writing with even greater writing. Hopefully you do a reaction to El Camino since it truly ends the journey whereas BCS builds and illustrates the whole universe with plenty of great callbacks and prequel setups for what we later watched in Breaking Bad. Thanks for your fantastic reactions!
That ending is just amazing I wish I could rewatch it without knowing what happens next like the only person who could kill Walt is himself I also like how they killed Walt instead of keeping him alive like his story ended also el Camino shows what Jesse did right after he left.
You still have El Camino to watch and then you have finished Breaking Bad.
This show is amazing 😢
That shot with Walter executing Jack honestly gave me The Last of Us vibes, which is funny, cause both The Last of Us and Breaking Bad’s finale came out the same year.
Fittingly, both of those executioner’s shots happened in the finale, in the last few minutes.
Talk about a grand finale though! It was a perfect ending to an incredible show and storyline, and a perfect ending for both Walter White, and Heisenberg. Walt did what he set out to do, as both Heisenberg, and as Walt.
Heisenberg got his revenge, and some sort of closure between his loved ones, as well as his loose ends. Walt managed to provide for his family on his own terms, and mend at least a few of his wrongs.
Even in the finale though, he was still split between Walter and Heisenberg. Heisenberg was planning to kill Jesse too, but Walt just couldn’t do it. Walt was wrestling with Heisenberg time after time, with Heisenberg usually winning. But that reunion with Jesse helped Walt finally prevail over his alter-ego 🕶️🎩
I agree with you. This show is the best show in tv history. The writing like this will never be topped.
Name something better, you can't
@@Justinhomii
The sopranos is better
@@alainturret2076no it isn't
The perfect ending. Walt really did redeem himself. He saved Jesse, avenged Hank and secured his family's future. He died a happy man, both Walt and Heisenberg. 1 down, 2 more to go before you finish the Gilliverse.
The Gilliverse
so crazy that its already been a year since yoiu reacted to ep1.... well.cant wait for BETTER CALL SAUL!!
The scene between Walt and Skylar is the best part of this finale. Him finally saying/realizing "I did it for me" is the key moment of the entire saga, what really makes you realize it was all a great tragedy.
_Ozark_ is great... But it's no _Break8mg Bad._ And when I say that the former is great, I'm not exaggerating.
This show, this episode specifically, was such an event. All of the bars around my way showed it. Watching the finales of BB and _Community_ always make me a little sad reliving the ends.
The GOATED TV show. Hope you enjoyed it
I know some people don't like Better call Saul because after Breaking bad they expect something similar in terms of dynamics. I started watching BCS right after BB and it's worth saying that this series has a completely different mood, a different type of storytelling, not so fast, with less action. But it should be so, because first of all this is a story about the life of a lawyer, not a druglord, about the events that influenced who he became in BB. Therefore, you should not expect the same dynamics from BCS as in BB, these are completely different stories about completely different people. BCS is a great series that you will only find boring if you expect the same story as in BB.
Sorry if my English is bad, I used a translator.
I’m an even bigger Better Call Saul fan, I think it’s more smart and nuanced, and maybe I just prefer it because it’s got a really great gut punching romance. Saul is the main character of the universe and you wouldn’t have believed that 6 years ago.
M60 is actually 7.62 mm nato. The building it's most likely stucco, effectively plaster over Styrofoam or chicken wire
This finale was such a moment! I remember how everyone in my class was discussing it the next day- students and professors alike. Great point about the concrete and the bullets penetrating it. I think the TV show Mythbusters put together a mock setting like in the BB finale and showed that bullets of an M60 would penetrate through concrete, which is insane! El Camino is next (Which is more of a epilogue for Jesse) and BCS! Awesome reaction Primate. This was an incredible journey to watch with you!
Can I suggest watching ‘Snowfall’ soon? It’s about the crack epidemic in the 80s and loosely based on a true story. It’s underrated and not many people have reacted to it.
I don't know *how* it manages to do it, but by the end of Better Call Saul, there is no question in my mind:
BCS is superior. The entire fifth and sixth seasons are the very highest this era of Peak TV has to offer, and I say that with my entire chest.
hahaha the Grettchen and Elliot thing was hilarious. yes you switched them again after realizing git too :D you said it right the whole year and this day you were just too exited with everything. also you said Skinny P instead of Skinny Pete...did you do that all year without anyone cathing it? :D
Time for El Camino and Better Call Saul.
Honestly, the best written, directed, and acted show of the 2010's. It's so so good.
Breaking Bad: Has a perfect finale.
El Camino and Better Call Saul: "We are done when I say we are done."
of every reaction I've seen from Breaking Bad you were the most smart of all of them, you just say things trying to figure it out and it is what happens man hahaha
El Camino takes place directly after breaking bad’s ending you should watch it before starting better call saul
gonna miss this series reaction, what a journey, took a whole year of build up 😮💨
im just thinking about all of jesses memories that he has where everyone in the situation is dead (such as the whole desert scene in to’hajilee and ozymandias) 😅
Walter died in a meth lab, the place that made him fell alive.
*serious moment*
*dead silence*
Primate: "BIG ASS EARS!!" 😅Been so fun watching my favorite series with you, dude! It's truly one of a kind.
Tbf if you wait long enough to rewatch something it can feel like the 1st time. I'm rewatching the mtv scream series (which i HIGHLY recommend) with my boyfriend and i forgot so much it feels like the 1st time watching it again.
You made it!! 😃👍 Your reactions to this show have been great by the way…
Can't wait for better call saul. It's a lot more character driven, with a lot of stuff you're left to try and figure out on you're own, coming up with your own interpretation. Took me multiple watches to really understand a lot of moments
Youre about to have an absolute BLAST with Better Call Saul, enjoy the journey!
Games of Thrones was on pace to become easily the best show of all time. Then they blew it with bad writing at the end.
Thanks for the awesome journey! You're absolutely right...BB had it all: writing, acting, directing, cinematography...all top notch! But...BCS (Better Call Saul) has the same exact crew with all the experience and expertise starting with S1 Ep1. BCS is a vey slow burn, but has alot of moments better than BB, but I still rank BB over BCS. The only show I rank higher than BB is The Wire (hope you react to that someday).
Gretchet and Ellien
I. Cant. Wait. For you to see the rest of BCS, don't be sad that BB is done becaue you have the entire other side of the story to see yet, it is glorious.
This show is absolute perfection. It lasted precisely as long as it had to. They coulda dicked around for another season or two, but nah, they knew the story they wanted to tell. Awesome.
