"Jimmy, you know what? This was the greatest weak of my life." Man, this episode really carries a lot of weight, and you can feel how everything that happens in it already is affecting Jimmy deeply.
Fun fact, Jimmy told Walter about the Kevin Costner story in breaking bad when he was trying to buy the laser tag/car wash. Nice they explained it in bcs
"I once convinced a woman I was Kevin Costner, and it worked because I believed it."
I think it was when he was trying to convince Walt to buy the laser tag, and Walt told him the car wash made for a better story.
You can tell Howard was IMPRESSED, after seeing all the things Jimmy had been doing for Chuck over the last two years. He definitely respects him.

It seems that Marco was well aware of his own heart condition. That's why he pushed for one last scam with Jimmy: he knew his time was up.
Chet and Chuck are two completely different people. Chet slept with Jimmy's wife, Jimmy divorced her for cheating on him.

This season ends on a strange note because the writers and Peter Gould (Peter did most of BCS, not Vince) were unsure whether BCS would be well received, but it got good ratings, so they decided to do season 2. Season 2 wasn't even planned until they released season 1.
And on top of that I’m pretty sure I heard somewhere this was supposed to be the jimmy to Saul moment but as primate just said at the end of he video he wishes there was more time with jimmy so that’s exactly what they did

In Breaking Bad, Saul once said to Walt that he slept with a girl who thought he was Kevin Costner. And in this episode, you saw that it actually happened.
That's cool you used the word relapsed. Coz Saul is exactly like an addict. As long as everything's smooth he's fine with being legit. But he caves when things go wrong. Runs right back to his"high".
It's just my theory, but I feel like they weren't sure if they were going to get a second season. So they made season 1 end in a way that could lead into Breaking Bad if it had to, and have enough build up to it. But thank god we got all the rest of the other five seasons after all, 'cause there's so much more.
I know lot of people give Chuck shit, and not for bad reasons, but I still like how Chuck seems to have regrets and feel bad, since he reached for the doorknob. He wants to talk to his brother, but it doesn't happen here, very sad and very realistic relationship, tragic! Good video as always! Hvala ItsAPrimate!
exactly, chucks hate for jimmy isnt a 24/7 thing, as we saw when they were working together on the sandpiper files chuck was able to over come his disorder and seemed to enjoy being around jimmy.

This is such a good show. Right up there with Breaking Bad.
Great season finale, and what a great set of characters you never met in BB...Chuck, Howard, Nacho and of course Kim!

Knowing Jimmy's future adds so much to the series. You find Easter eggs & clues along the way that really adds depth as you watch his downward spiral.
It's a tragedy to see that Chuck was really making a positive difference on Jimmy's behavior, only for Chuck's real feelings to come out & destroy all that progress.
Fun fact: Jimmy wears Marco’s ring throughout all of bcs and breaking bad
I don't know, he has known his brother as a fuck up for 25-30 years maybe longer. Hard to fault the guy for not completely believing in his new nature after just a few years.

Yeah, Saul's not exactly a tower of virtue. But he genuinely cares for people enough to put their needs over his own. That's a choice. And I love him.

The fascinating thing is that though Chuck is the antagonist, he is right. As a Breaking Bad viewer, we know what kind of lawyer he will become.

I wish I could discuss in detail just how plot centric what Chuck did to Jimmy was over this entire universe, but that will have to wait.
I loved BCS S1 back then, but now I love it even more when I realise how clever it actually is. And, even then, S2 is way better, and don't get me started on S3 onwards!

8:55, no, none of that was about Chuck. Chet is a completely separate person to Chuck.
Once you start calling Saul “Jimmy” it’s hard to stop. You start resonating with his character now, and even watching Breaking Bad you see Jimmy in a different light.
One of the problems with Chuck's reasoning about Jimmy being unqualified is this: True, Jimmy got his JD through a correspondence course, and they don't have a good reputation. However, Jimmy passed the bar, which is difficult for anyone. And if he did so on the first try, wow! That should impress Chuck.
It took Jimmy three tries to pass the bar, according to the flashback scene where we see him tell Chuck (He even said “Third time’s the charm”)

chuck went about it shadily, but perspective is very important. especially with genius writing.
imagine primate has a cousin. all primates life, his cousin does shady things that hurt and embarrass the family. the cousin tries to do better, but primate can see he still does subtle shady things. suddenly the cousin has a great idea for the show. now the cousin expects to cohost live. is primate obligated to make him cohost knowing he will probably violate rules and put the show in jeopardy?
the writers really make us feel for jimmy and hate chuck. yet, look at the ovation chuck gets at hmm. it shows hes loved and respected.
Ehh cohosting isn’t the same as working at the bottom as a lawyer at the firm I don’t think, especially after he put in years in the mail room

Youre the only reactor ive seen catch the "Belize" easter egg during Jimmy's Bingo rant haha. Another easter egg mentioned in that same scene idk if you caught is he says "Look out the window, it looks like a Georgia O'Keefe hellscape out there!". Georgia O'Keefe is the artist whose paintings Jesse & Jane went to go look at in BB. The ones that Jesse thought were supposed to all look like vaginas haha

Chet and Chuck are not the same person.... What you said made no sense, and it makes no sense to come to that conclusion if Chuck came all the way from New Mexico to help Jimmy in Chicago when the Chicago Sunroof Incident took place IN CHICAGO! Chuck doesn't even have kids Bruh. Are You Okay? "Did Chuck Sleep with his Ex Wife Too?" Wow that was the most ridiculous conclusion you made when nothing on the show says that. I hope the folks from Patreon talked to you about this and that last mistake you made when you think the office was bought when he clearly could not afford it. You can't keep making mistakes like this, you don't want to come off slow when this show is not going to wait for you to catch up. This show requires quick thinkers that understand what is presented to them, that does not mean you see what you want to see especially when it's not what on screen. The name of the game is "Keep Up" Not "Catch Up", because this show is not going to wait for you. You have to address this, because if you don't you are going to go on thinking the wrong assumption when what you assume is completely wrong.
